P.Bright well lit store which is very welcoming. Enter from George Street into a huge makeup and fragrances area which has many helpful but not pushy assistants. The men's and women's clothing areas are huge with many labeled lines as well as bargains intermixed.
Downstairs, also huge, has extensive furniture and soft furnishing sections as well as a large area for children's clothing and toys.
Staff are helpful and not at all pushy which suits the people of the south
M.Back in October I came in to buy some makeup. I've never been into makeup but the team were super helpful and lovely and gave me lots of tips! They also helped with cost effective items too.
S.Always love going to farmers Dunedin, such a huge variety of lovely things in store, and nicely set out. The staff are amazing, and my latest experience was with a beautiful girl called Fleur. She has such a kind way with customers, an asset to your store

i.Amazing customer service from the lady that looks after the changing rooms. I didn't catch her name but she has short blonde/white hair and every time I have been in her service is amazing. Unique to find service like that.

N.Classic farmers, multi level, everything you want from a department store. Pay parking. Decent selection of kids toys and clothes. Stevens store, staff are generally very awesome, massive make up section, women’s and men’s clothes also furniture section. Escalators and a lift. All round a clean store. Awesome work Dunedin!

The only downside is walking through the perfume department it's overpowering. The staff must be immune to the smell.

The layout at the main counters and access into menswear on the right and ladies wear on the left from George Street is less congested and smarter than it used to be.

J.There was a great range of what I was looking for but found that the assistant in the department were very inattentive and unhelpful. Yet the person on the purchasing counter was so lovely friendly and helpful, what a contrast between 2 different people. Had they both been like the assistant it would have been enough to deter me from shopping there again.
T.Went to Stevens inside "Farmers". Great customer service and quality products. We brought some beautiful new pots and pans on a 1 for 1 special deal (Going back to buy some food flasks on special)👍🏽

A.I bought Britney spears Fantasy perfume on the 15th September 2017. The Price was affordable, and perfumes smell was perfect to handle, for my personality. The memory with regards to that perfume with my home situation wasn't good. It is not farmers fault.

J.Farmer's isn't my go-to department store but it does alright. There truly is quite a bit in store. My reason for giving it a four star rating is because not all the associates are the friendliest. I feel like just another customer; it feels robotic. Nothing's wrong with that but I would enjoy more interpersonal relationships between the customers and associates. Other than that, the store is decent.
P.I arrived to late for shopping really but the staff were awesome they went the extra mile to help me
P.Stopped into Farmers at Dunedin to checkout the red spot sale. Nice big store that's well laid out. The usual array of items were around which is always pretty good. The sale discounts seemed good but unfortunately what I wanted was either not on sale or they didn't have my size. Not too worry though. Overall very good. The big downside for this store is that Wilson Parking operate the car park so you are slugged $4/hour or you have to find somewhere else to park.
N.Good layout, clean , friendly staff. But not many staff available to ask questions. Mostly tight up with cashier, which is very long queues.especially on sale days. The parking is not free.
T.Recommend the Autobahn. This is a schnitzel with egg dish and a nice brown sauce. Very nice dish.

J.I love farmers usually but I notice in clothing their usual store brands have become expensive eg 70 dollars for basic pants in EllaJ brand. Great for sales in the chine n cookware. A good variety but NOT everything you need in one store.

M.Farmers is my first choice when looking for something (Dunedin store), especially plus size clothing or underwear. The lady in the bra/underwear department is fabulous! She's always happy to help, knows all about the products & gives great recommendations.
The ladies in the makeup departments are also very helpful & knowledgeable of their products & happy to help finding the right shade of foundation etc.
But my favorite department is the ladies clothing! I've gotten to know a couple of them reasonably well & they always have a smile & are happy to see me (you know who you are Miss Rosie!) & nothing is ever a problem!
It's not often you come across a large store, with so many staff, where ALL of them are always happy to help you & always seem happy in their jobs & have a smile on their face. In all the years I've been using this store I cannot recall having one bad experience in the last 10+ years.
S.Excellent well trained staff who were very helpful. This resulted in me buying the exact item I wanted at the one day half price sale when I could only afford the half price amount. So I felt as though I had done very well. I also joined the Farmer's Club as a result.
M.I'm always happy with my purchases from this department store. There are lots of bargains in clothing and on all departments. They have a customer loyalty card, but I have yet to enjoy it's benefits. No problem with staff.

D.Ok so this is a Farmer's store. With all the expected product and range - which is very good. My comment is on the staff.
The staff are incredibly awesome. Each and every time I visit I experience professional and polite and helpful staff. Whether they are crazy busy or low key I always get excellent service. I don't know if this is standard across all Farmers stores but it stands out for me here at the Dunedin one.
t.Myself and my partner went to Farmes today to look for some baby stuff. We were just browsing at first but got talking to kirsty who was super helpful and so lovely to talk to. We then decided to go back in the evening to buy the buggy but unfortunately kirsty was gone home but we met her colleague Stac who was the nicest, bubbly woman. She was so helpful and super knowledgeable about the products being sold. We were so so so happy leaving today. We got more info then expected. Great customer service girls!
H.Always clean and well presented. The shop is huge so it's very easy to get lost. A bit pricy but sometimes there's good sales on.
R.Kimberly in the childcare department absolutely rocks. Top notch customer service, going out of her way to ensure a wee niggle was investigated and all avenues looked into. Farmers Dunedin - you have a great employee here!

R.Beauty counters can be intimidating, but the staff here are very helpful. There is also a wonderful loyalty voucher system, which helps with smaller regular purchases. Selection of products is excellent, and the layout is great for browsing.
