L.Five star service, knowledgeable staff who are actually engaged, and a brilliant range of products. Shame there's no loyalty program, but this is reflected in their competitive pricing. Top tip .... ask if they can improve the tagged price.
C.Visited today to look at bed linen. Particularly wanted to buy king flat sheets without the fitted ones included as we have a queen bed. No luck this time but like the store and will be back.
T.Good atmosphere. Big range of items. However, prices can often be expensive, unless they're on specials, especially furniture. You do get reliable warranty from them though.
P.Very good helpful all the way. Renewing our GE Credit for $1000.00 item was a horrible ordeal unfortunately. Lovely young lady did her best.

U.Harvey Norman is great for their tv's, monitors and home appliances and also have a large range of furniture. Most of the smart home appliances were always low on stock which should be sorted out.
l.Always professional except 4 1 assistant that was arrogant but was quickly replaced for an awesome lady that apologized 4 his behavior, but I am a regular customer so I know they r good, .. apart from this young rude kid at kitchen ware
N.Using the photo/ copy counter as the only one for all purchases is not a great idea. It can take a awfully long time when someone wants something a little bit different.

H.Have purchased a new bed through Harvey Norman and I'm very happy with it. Only have one gripe. When we purchased the bed we were given a gift card and were told that once the bed was delivered it would be activated, unfortunately when we went to use we had to have it activated ourselves. It is what it is but they should actually tell you this

Plenty of parking down stairs.
Some employees seem to be More interested at Gossiping, laughing hysterically and Hi fiving each other and having a great “Teen fun party” as it appears and Not serving customers at the electronics department, where as on the other hand been asked too many times if I am doing okay when I stepped at the Furniture department of the building but then “No one” would turn up to explain about the furniture makes, accessories or deals. So I walked just right back of the store and went to another store for better and spot on service.
Better to shop when on specials otherwise can be pricy!
B.Stopped to het a new freezer while passing with the trailer, easy process and helpful staff member.
S.One of my go to places. I had to take a kettle back due to a fault. There was no problem getting an exchange. The whole process was quick and easy.
J.I was so impressed with my visit today parking was easy and free a rarity in dunedin. I knew what I wanted to buy but after talking to the appliance manager I had even greater confidence in my purchase.
About the Appliance Manager.
He explained the features of the cooktop in an easy to understand manor and understood my wants he showed me only the ones I wanted to see and made the sale easy.
Something other retailers find very hard to do with drawn out with long processes of warranties and data collections and just general fumbling about. Not the case here.
About the cooktop.
Testing out the wired up induction cooktops over the dead displays (Not powered up units) influenced my decision 100%
I wanted to see how the controls worked, how they where to touch and how easy they were to use to control the cooktop and how precisely it controled the heat.
One feature was that when you put your pot on the particular area that control button lit up red much easier to see going rather then just looking at a blank glass with grey print.
Or buying it and having to find all that out once it's wired in.
When it matters go here and and test one out wired full demo absolutely worth it.

L.Finally after not getting proper service from jb and noel I tried harvey, didnt even went to buy anything but the sales person was so informative and with helpful tips I bought the monitor. Followed by gaming keyboard the other day, where there was another sales person, he gave me so many useful recommendations.
I guess this store has good sales persons.

K.Excellent service have had troubles with washer dryer. Repairs and Replaced once under warranty. When the next one failed they took it all back and gave us store credit. Nothing was a problem for them. A real credit to the team there.

R.Great range and great staff. Usually fairly busy but they have a lot of parking which makes going there a breeze. Sometimes they can be out of stock of an item but are able to get it shipped from somewhere else. This is quite common with their Apple stock. Have an excellent selection of electronics/home entertainment/furniture and lots of staff ready and willing to help. Very great with price matching and have a lot of great interest free deals if you are that way inclined.

o.A truly dazzling array of beds and other homeware. Each night you are spoiled with choice. "Which bed will I sleep in tonight?" I found myself asking at numerous points of the day as I wandered the store.

C.Great range. Competent staff. My only degrading factor is that I took in a brand new computer that had a manufacturers fault (not the fault of the store) to get repaired and it took a very long time and did not receive any updates about when I would get it back during the process. This was concerning being a student who needed the laptop for assignments. Wish there was some sort of compensation I could have been offered since it was a fault in a brand new product.

B.Fantastic service at Harvey Norman. I went to purchase some printer ink and had a look at iPhone cases as well. Two staff members helped me find cases that would fit my phone and they were extremely helpful and friendly. A+
M.A great place to shop for big ticket items and small appliance as well. Huge retail space and choice. Financing is offered in house so don't forget to bring necessary information if you plan to pay for it this way. They can do it on the spot. Their 3 or sometimes 6 months interest free is attractive. We have been buying from them and always pay the whole amount before the interest free time runs out. Just keep in mind that they do charge interest. They will have explained the whole financing thing upon application anyway.
M.To be frank I usually hate going to Harvey Norman -- I usually find the staff somewhat annoying.
But today I visited to look at travel cameras and was promptly assisted by a very knowledgeable staff member who got the cameras out of the cabinet to let me get a feel for them. He was also able to answer all my questions on the spot.

S.Nothing special about Harvey Norman really. Just make sure to ask for a better price on anything you buy as they generally drop the price when asked.
E.It is a massive place and has a huge range of stuff but the staff were still more than happy to help with my photos query and gave me an accurate time as to how long I should expect to wait.
D.We bought a panasonic washing machine on a massive discount about two years ago. 16 months into that machine, it developed a terminal fault. We had the extended warranty from HN,but because this was less than two years old the manufacturer was responsible for sorting the repair/replacement. Three weeks in, with no washing machine, it became clear that the machine wsa not getting fixed. The corporate office at Panasonic made it very clear that they didn't have any interest in making things right, beyond authorizing a full refund from Harvey Norman. I went in to our Dunedin shop to see what I could get with the amount to be refunded - nothing. I was going to have to spend several hundred more for a decent replacement. So I had a talk with one of the sales people, who then referred me to a manager tyoe in the whitewares section. This manager heard the whole story, saw our predicament, and went very far out of his way to make sure I left there with a very high quality replacement machine. He also threw in free delivery and pickup of the old machine. This was a five-star service experience, of the sort that have become all too rare in the big box stores, and it hsa guaranteed I'll stay a loyal customer to this Harvey Norman location. Thanks and well done.
Ps. Never buying anything from Panasonic again! When corporate tells you "your best solution is to buy something else, you never should have bought our product in the first place," that sends a pretty clear message...
