S.Only the best bookshop in Dunedin. It’s really as simple as that. Wonderful, caring, literary staff add to serious aggravation of tsundoku whenever one visits. And for me, that’s quite often.
C.Usually really friendly service with purchasing books and postage. Had a few frosty experiences w a particular clerk doing postage. Maybe caught them on a bad day? It isn't hard to be nice is it?

R.Such a lovely bookshop! Unlike other university bookshops that are non-fiction academic-focused, this bookshop has a great array of fiction books and interesting reads. There is also a heavily discounted section for books that haven’t sold or are a little damaged. Staff are very friendly. We spent a good hour wandering around and left with a number of “wants to reads” on our list. Highly recommended.
B.This has always been a great bookshop in Dunedin. Something for everyone. There was even a children's storytime happening when we popped in. A really good selection of books, for reading, for studying or just for entertainment. Plus other interesting gift ideas.

R.The bookshop many Otago uni students will visit to find course books. But not just that, there is a wide variety of different books including fictional and kids books. A must visit if you are in Dunedin and you like books!
R.This place. Oh my goodness. A book lover's dream. I could spend hours here. Bit of a misnomer with the name - this isn't just for those affiliated or attending the uni.
The staff are so helpful and friendly. Fantastic story times three times a week for kids, book clubs and discussions, wonderful events. The shop also buys back good condition text books from the uni students so keep that in mind.
I love that you can ring them up, or flick an email and they'll find you the book you're after. Free shipping online too which is great for those of us that live out of town.
An absolute bookophile heaven.
M.It must be the best bookshop in the city. The range is vast, from children's books through to adult reading, text books for varsity of every description and stationary of all types. It is a great store for finding gifts, and gift cards are available from the counter for whatever value you want, with a two year expiry. I highly recommend a visit to the University Book Shop.

J.A very good bookshop. I would give it 5 stars if it had a bigger selection of science fiction and fantasy. The selection of both is sparse. However, the non-fiction range is outstanding. They can order books in for you.
C.Books galore. Friendly relaxed place to find a great read or just have a browse. The friendly staff will help you to find that book you've been looking for if it's either on the shelf or not even been released yet to where you could find a out of print title for second hand. Great kids section to let the little ones sit and read while you browse. Make sure to check out the upstairs sale room for that bargain.
M.My favorite bookshop in Dunedin. It has a good selection of books. University and Polytechnic students buy most of their books from here. They have a long running book sale in the second floor which stocks awesome books at really good prices. These books are of high quality and some are still sold at normal prices elsewhere. This is a gem! Go the this bookshop before going anywhere else. There might just be something waiting for you!
M.This is a good bookshop but only for new and academic books. Not the same as a second hand book shop. However, because they are an academic shop, they can order in anything. They stock stationary, too, but the way.

J.I love this place: it's a great place to let your mind wander. I've spent many an afternoon persusing their shelves and exploring their titles. They often have little events on 'Blind date with a book', and the merchandise they have for sale adds to the atmosphere. As they provide textbooks for university students, they have a wide range of subjects available (including plenty of books for leisure), and sale room upstairs.
