I'm loving my new board. Every board I've had since 1980 bar one has been a New Wave. Ralph & Jinx never disappoint. As always customer service was first class. Form ordering to completion I felt involved and welcome to come in a view progress.

My son Max decided to give New Wave Surf Boards a go, seen as 2 of his fav surfers Jay Quinn & JF were riding them. He went in an met Ralph an they sat down an designed a board which would be best for Max. Ralph was amazing an with all his knowledge shaped Max 2 amazing boards !! Rach & Vish were super friendly an I loved how we were able to make payments online over the time the board was being shaped. Max must of impressed his Dad with his surfing as now he has recently gone in to purchase a board .

I've had a couple of second hand New Wave boards in the past and recently ordered my first custom. The team were extremely helpful in shaping a board that's suitable to how I'm surfing after a hiatus, and delivering it quickly and safely. I've taken it out every week since I got it, and it goes great! I wouldn't hesitate to build a New Wave quiver! Highly recommend

i love having a long board in the shed and this board is just epic. Glides, speeds down the line, turns on a dime and most importantly catches any wave i want. Thanks guys!

Thanks to Vish and the team @ New Wave for the custom 9'2 longboard. It's beautifully made and a fun alternative when the waves are a bit smaller. You guys were great to deal with from start to finish.

I cannot recommend Ralph and Vish's knowledge, ability and workmanship highly enough.
I had him restore a 40 year old Crozier Slab that along with general use and aging had had the flextail ground off it.
Ralph made that old board look and feel like new, complete with rebuilt flextail.
The man is a genius!
In reference to the Crozier restoration Bruce Hart (of Flashpoint Surfing) said, and I quote... "the guy that handled this did the perfect process 😁😀 and the fact he could rebuild the flextail (as he has done) says heaps about his ability."

As expected with the ‘New Wave’ family it’s always an absolute pleasure to deal with them and the boards are always absolutely spot on in design & immaculately constructed.
I gave them a nice tightly dead-lined brief to produce a mid-length for my NZ trip and was delighted four weeks later to unwrap this beauty a day after my arrival and in time for some fun lines at Mangamaunu. Speaking with Ralph to build the picture was extremely helpful, and left me feeling extremely confident he knew exactly what I wanted; providing sage advice and steering me clear of any potential bad decisions I could make. And the whoever was responsible for the glassing & polishing must be commended for the superb finishing. Rachel made sure I was kept well informed of progress and that all logistics were expertly managed. So in short; love the boards and love the crew. Cheers

Thanks to the team @newwave for this awesome performance board, I've ridden it in a few different conditions and loving it!
I got that "can't wait for the next surf feeling back"

Got this 6'10" quad for my birthday which has become my "go to" board, suitable for most conditions we get in Gisborne. A great paddler, easy to catch waves with quick acceleration, glide and responsive in turns. Really good workmanship too. No dings or pressures after 8 months of consistent surfing except for the lock down.
