Reviews of Farmers Centre Place
h.I visited Farmers Centre Place to purchase some coffee cups I had seen on line and a t shirt. I was disappointed that both items has red dots on but was told they were getting ready for red dot sale so not reduced accordingly yet. A couple of days later red dot sale was advertised and my t shirt was 49% off. I was pretty annoyed. My coffee cups had 30% off the day I purchased but 40 or 50% off in red dot sale. Seemed pretty odd to me having worked in retail this hardly seemed fair. 99.9% of the time I love Farmers ... it just gets better all the time with variety of stock and lovely staff.
J.Masks required but on entry but no vaccine passport needed.
I enjoy shopping at Farmers in Centre Place because it is located in town so it is quieter than the Farmers stores in Te Awa and Chartwell. This store is always tidy, it has great specials, a large range and the staff are quite helpful.
Now a little advice about parking...there is an underground car park but it is dark, scary and ominous so park in the Centre Place Car Park building. I have included the information below.
Weekends and late night after 5pm
We have FREE PARKING every weekend and after 5pm on Thursday late nights in our Centre Place car park. There is no need for a spend, validation, or payment – just put your ticket straight in the exit.*
Weekdays
During the week, spend $10 in-centre and validate your ticket at Customer Service to receive TWO HOURS FREE. Visit the cinemas and receive FOUR HOURS FREE – the cinema staff can validate your ticket for you.
You can park on the street for free for two hours as well and the bus depot is only a short walk to and from the Centre Place Shopping Centre.
Note: you will need a vaccine passport to see a movie.
J.Nice friendly staff with good banter, fancy hand sanitiser, the biggest QR code I've ever seen!
P.A decent sized department store in the middle of town. It is a lot bigger than it looks from the main part of the mall as it runs over two levels. I found all the usual things you would expect to find, and because it was Boxing Day they had really good discounts. The singing and dancing flamingos were a highlight.
P.The layout of the store is a little confusing but the staff are very friendly and the store is usually tidy. Good selection of items. Overall rather decent
S.Not too bad but the girls don't want to help straight away but when they do they are very good at recommending certain products
C.Decent service if you can find the right salesperson. On occasion you'll find someone who isn't interested
C.Just the same as the other Farmers around but not as crowded. Decent sized shopping centre with some awesome deals from time to time.

S.I do find Farmers promotional material a little misleading with certain styles in small print easily missed so the large print makes you think all products in the range are in the sale and by the time you decide and go to pay it's a hassle to go and change it. If you even notice the product you selected wasn't actually included ☹️

If you want quality branded makeup brands all in one place, Farmer's Centre Place is the best place to go in Hamilton
T.I was Shorts shopping and had exhausted my options I had seen one pair I really wanted but it was not in my size Next day I rang Farmers in Centreplace Hamilton and they had 2 suitable size options A lovely lady called Ave put them on hold for me even though I live in Raglan 45 kms away I drove in, tried them on and purchased one Great service, wonderful lady, big range of options and good quality Thank you Farmers for going the extra mile Highly recommend 👌

A.Well it's a bit hard shopping here for some items yet great for others. Its lacking a seat for the elderly and it's so big. Of course I did get some baby clothes but it's a mixed blessing this store.

K.As a visiting Australian I always like seeing what Farmers have to offer and the Hamilton store was very good. It had a very good range pf women's clothing and I managed to buy several items. The quality and pricing are great.
