I went into Farmers Chartwell with my youngest daughter, to buy a camisole, to go under a summer top. The store itself was very bright, breezy, and was easy to navigate. I suffer from spinal stenosis, so it was good to see clutter free walk ways, within the Farmers store. I found what I was looking for, after a short time, and approached one of the store counters. The assistant who served me, was friendly, helpful, and very chatty, and I appreciated that. I hadn't been shopping in a store for over a year, so it was a lovely experience.

Just loved my visit to Farmers Chartwell on Tuesday the 23rd November, I completed my purchases at the Cosmetics counter and was served by Dawn. I saw her kind interaction with a few other customers and received the same lovely welcome when it was my turn. Dawn clearly loves her job and her customers and she's an incredible asset to Farmers with her friendly, cheerful, yet professional assistance. She really knows her products and was so helpful and kind. I took note of her name because she deserves recognition. Staff like Dawn enhance any customers shopping experience. Store has great variety of stock & good deals. Customer service not always the best, sometimes I get really poor customer service & sometimes great customer service. Recommend for shopping purposes buts not so much for consistent customer service which it is not.

Sadly my last couple of experiences here haven't been that great. I went in on a Thursday night (late night) at 5.30pm, there was 1 staff member on the ground floor who was also the only person operating a till. I saw multiple people attempt to access the changing rooms which were locked, and a I heard a few people audibly dicuss with their parties about not knowing where a staff member was to ask questions. I ended up walking out without a purchase as I had a couple of questions but didn't want to wait in line at the checkout. The lack of floor staff had been a common issue here my past couple of visits.

A chain store. It is what you expect from farmers. They sell all of the things that every other farmers stores sell. I've always found their layout weird. But there must be some sort of method to it.

Stopped in to the perfume section during late night on Thursday and there was an absolutely lovely woman that assisted a friend and I with trying out some new perfumes, she even gave us some samples to try, alot of the other farmers assistants have been horrible to deal with but this woman was amazing and I will be going back to get my perfume from her from now on! I wish I got her name!!

Fantastic for emergency last second kids birthday presents 😂 Big range of things with prices that go from affordable to pretty high (branded stuff) so there's something for everyone. Things are often on special without it advertised obviously, pleasant surprise at the checkout.
