Izzy and his team at flooring design Hamilton were amazing from start to the finish. The team were really friendly and actually listened to what I wanted, but stepped in when I needed advice, which was really appreciated. Izzy especially was on hand to answer any questions and my texts. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and made my life a heck of a lot more easy and the transformation of my home is outstanding. Also the tradies that they get to install the flooring are top notch as well. I got both carpet and vinyl planking through flooring design. Thanks heaps.

We all know that for various reasons reno jobs sometimes don't go as planned. Recently I decided to redo all the floor coverings in my house. The carpet & vinyl tiles went in without a hitch and look stunning. The bathroom vinyl wasn't quite so straightforward. But this is where my decision to have Flooring Design do the work paid off. I went with them because it's a reputable company who have done great work for me before, and when things weren't so great they kept in touch, were honest about the issues and my options, and Vanessa and Carey were constantly working to get contractors in to fix the problem even when lockdown made things very tricky. I always felt confident that eventually the floor would be done well, and it has been. Thanks, team.

We had been talking about getting new carpet for quite awhile and had visited many stores in through out that time. Walking onto Flooring Design we were welcomed by the staff and made to feel at ease. The staff were always friendly and willing to help anytime we phoned or called into the store. Upon entering the store was met by the friendly Vanessa who showed me some carpets that suited my requirements. Vanessa was helpful and answered all my questions. The fitting was done professionally and fitting was reasonably priced. My new bedroom carpet looks great and I will definitely return to look again when I'm replacing carpet in the rest of the home.

Big thank you to Ray, Tracy, Vanessa and the team for our beautiful floors. We had Godfrey Hirst Regal Oak engineered timber floors (in Hampton colour) put down in our kitchen/dining/living area. The result is stunning and we are very happy. We had great guidance from the different staff who all knew their stuff, and good competitive pricing. Also excellent communication so we knew what was happening despite delays because of the COVID lockdown. We got there in the end! Earlier this month I had my Garage carpeted and was very impressed with the service from start to finish. I initiated the enquiry while visiting the Te Rapa store and was taken through to the Warehouse to view the product that would be laid. On leaving, I had an estimate in my hand and a commitment that I would receive a follow up call to book a site visit. The site visit actually happened in my absence as I was moving house that day and timing was not quite in my favour. But it didn't phase Mike and by the end of the following day I had my quote and a secured booking for having the carpet laid. On the day in question the carpet was laid, again I was absent, no issues and on my return found my garage carpeted and cleaned. I take my hat off to Ray, Jacqui and their team. The service and experience was first rate. Very Professional and exceptionally friendly.

We had our bungalow in Forest Lake carpet supplied by Flooring Design, Te Rapa. The service was great, we went in with a fixed idea of what we wanted and came out with something completely different and couldn't have been more happy with the final choice. The advice was professional, informative and pricing was competitive. The installer did the job in amazing time and totally transformed our home. It was the icing on the cake for a five year renovation project and finished it off beautifully. I wouldn't hesitate going back to them again. The free upgrade to premium underlay made it all the more luxurious too.

We've just had floating laminate and carpet installed at our new house and we have been very happy with the customer service from Flooring Design - they were very patient with the delays on our build. The installers did a great job and we are very happy with the end result. The only drawback is that the laminate installer was going to charge extra to lay our rolls of cardboard down over the laminate to protect it until we moved in (this was all part of the service - including the cardboard with our last build a few years ago). Also, the carpet layers didn't vacuum after laying the carpet and carpet fluff was everywhere so the tiler can't doing the siliconing until the cleaners have been through.

We are so pleased with the final result. Even though COVID got in the way and delayed things for us, as soon as it was available the team arranged for installation straight away. We went for the Thorndon solution dyed nylon and laminate flooring, and we are so pleased with the combination. We dealt with the Covid outbreak through all of this, but the job went without a hitch. This required taking carpet samples home over several days. Having made our choice, Ray provided us with an acceptable quote. Initially great to deal with, the follow up a little slow and when it came to installing, we received no phone call to say exactly what time the installer would be there. I recently had two lots of work done in my home. One was to lay new carpet. At all times during the process, the staff were excellent, efficient and helpful with valuable advice. I am extremely happy with the finished product and love the way my home now looks.The second job was vinyl laid on my bathroom floor. As with the carpet, from the time I approached staff in the showroom to the completion of the job I had excellent service from both shop staff and installers. In the showroom. From the minute we stepped into the showroom we felt comfortable. After carefully listening to what we were after, we were shown various carpets with choices like colour, density, type, price etc. The following day Ray and his wife Jacqui, owners of the business, accurately measured our house and answered all our questions. By the evening we received a quote by email. Not only did they look after us with a good price for the carpet, they also managed to save nearly two lineal meters compared to previous quote from another company. It was an all-up price that included installation, travel, door bars, smooth edge etc. After accepting the quote we set a date for the installation. The installer (Matt) was extremely courteous, conscientious, exact and worked like a slave. He was methodical, very precise with cutting/joining and left no mess. We now have good quality carpet, that looks amazing and hopefully lasts for many years. We opted for upgraded underlay that makes walking on it a delight. Our expectations were met totally. I popped into Flooring Design, selected a beautiful off-cut of carpet for my Caravan Rugs, It was cut to measure, no fuss at a reasonable price, then I took the cuts to the binder at Rug Shack, all finished, everything done in one day, very pleased

Our experience with this company was extremely positive. We visited the store and the staff were welcoming and helpful, they sent someone to the house to measure and quote, we followed their recommendation on what to lay and it has had a wonderful result.
