I LOVE the way this shop is laid out for the customers. Everything looks so clean and inviting. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Prices are low and competitive. One problem though, no ablution facilities are available to the public. Customers are directed to the transport station - down the road and across the street, and they close earlier than K-Mart. Not good at all.

KMart is a great place to smooch if you have the time. They have plenty of bargins but you do have to look. There are self serve checkouts which aren't ideal especially when they are busy. Most of the staff are friendly however it is sometimes hard to find them. They do have on the floor price checker machines which do save on time when you find them. Their toys are quite competitively priced and some of the brands are cheaper than other department stores who sell toys. The price points for their products cater for all budgets. Take your time, don't rush and be warned it's a bit of a maze.

Love this shop. Such a huge variety of products. Getting a bit pricey. Staff are lovely and helpful. Wheel chair parks right by the door and a big entrance.

Big, cheap, slightly depressing. Only self-service checkouts operating when I visited, I'm not even sure whether they have checkouts with real people. Staff were few and far between. Overall I think I prefer to get my cheap stuff from The Warehouse.

Always have things in stock when the big one runs out. Parking is never an issue. I usually park in the last row in the front. Crowded area at times but overall a decent Kmart.

Amazing 😁 I love kmart! I got everything I needed and a couple things I didn't 😂😂 The prices were really competitive and such a wide selection of household items. I wanted to get an artificial plant for a dead space corner and found everything I needed plus a beautiful wall clock that's just perfect for my kitchen!

It's just like any other Kmart around the country. Similar to the warehouse, it has a variety of products in a variety of categories. From home appliances to pet clothing, they have it all.

Real tough competitor of warehouse! Whenever I go inside Kmart I feel they have everything just like warehouse except some plants, toolings, and big furniture items. It has good quality clothing and various household items. For kids they have plenty of toys including drones. Bicycle lovers can grab the quality bicycles from here. Like warehouse living & co brand, these guys have home &co which is quite good for daily use.

My first visit in Hamilton City store and although many products didn't have prices shown at their locations on the shelves, staff was easy to approach and helped me to locate the price checker.

Generally a really nice store to shop at. Aisles are always very clean and shelves usually stocked tidily. At night however it can get quite messy but there's only one culprit for that. Really friendly staff would shop here again. (Board games are superrrr cheap here)

I don't like having checkout in the middle of the store, but all in all its a good kmart. Much better after the remodel, it's clean and parking is easier than before. Wish they had a public toilet though.

I love Kmart & have had so many good shopping experiences but on Saturday 18th of December at Kmart Hamilton Central I had the worst customer service experience from Sanju the closing duty manager. I asked for help regarding finding a jar he advised me they were limited & out of stock I asked him to help me find an alternative at least 4 times & he kept telling me they were sold out basically lazy as didn't want to do his job hardly anyone like Maby a few dozen in the entire store. I ended up having to talk to him in extremely plain language to explain what an alternative jar or something to put fudge in means & he attempted to help but his alternatives were useless. However, giving 5 stars because love wāhine workers Kawsar, Joey, Lara & Nicole were literally exceptional workers these 4 wāhine gave me exceptional customer service & Joey helped me find a whole bunch of cool Christmas jars that the duty manager was too lazy to help me with & proved that what Sanju was telling me was wrong their were jars in stock. I spoke to Sanju before I left the store explaining to him that he has allot to learn from his colleagues but he said nothing never apologized for his lazy as poor customer service. But its algood this coming week I am going to file a formal complaint against him to the store manager & the Kmart NZ general manager to go on a customer service course. 5 stars only because of these epic 4 wāhine!!

It's usually fine but in Delta Level 2 on Thursday afternoon there was a line out the door. Great experience every other time I've been though so not really complaining.

My favorite of all Kmarts I have been to. Well stocked as usual. Find what I need and also find things that are total bargains which I can not leave behind.

Kmart is full of bargains and there's something for everyone. If you want to make over any space in your house Kmart is your #1 place to go. They have reasonable prices on toys and even have awesome craft activities for the kids and the kids at heart. Kmarts clothing and shoes range is not only affordable but the quality is really good also. I'm amazed how innovative kmart is with there kitchen and bathroom and the quality is exceptional.

What I do want to say is that I have witnessed their security team protect a young person from being harrassed from a random guy in their parking lot. It all happened really fast and that random guy just left but they really did this young person a solid and kept him safe. Weel done team

It's a Kmart what else is there to say. We no longer have one in Dunedin so the wife goes crazy when she gets to visit one. Happy wife happy life. Not much parking but did not have any issues at the time.

Used the click and collect option that they offered. Was quick and with no hassle. My complaint is that the store was a little messy with clothes and etc everywhere. Other then that it has good cheap clothes and other items.

Walk in to store expecting to see items in same place as the one in Te Rapa only to find everything is flipped back to front. Signage not the easiest to read. Have to be fully in the shop to read the signs as not obvious when first arriving. Checkout in middle of shop rather than near exit as with other stores. Prefer Te Rapa store layout, even though have to travel further to get to it.

Very inexpensive, great for the budget minded families, couples .. anybody. Its far cheaper than the red shed. The quality of the product most likely reflects on the price. I'm happy with my purchase's, just have to be careful on how I use them.

It was pumping, I believe there a live band. 'Disfunctional Family's Started the days off with 'Baby Crying at the top off her LUNGS' followed closely 'Mother Yelling at Baby ' and after a very short solo of 'Quiet Baby' the first song was played on repeat until the finale 'Time to go Home'. Which had such catchy lyrics such as: "no you're not getting that lolly" "Put that Back" and my favorite "Wait till Dad Hears About This" Possibly my best shopping experience, will definitely return for the next gig. 'Stoners can't decide what they want'

I was looking to buy gifts for Christmas, and found a child size blackboard for my one year old granddaughter. It was unique in that it could be used on a table or on the floor, and also had a white board on one side. It was the only department store where I could find something close to what I was looking for.

Nice and Tidy shop - easy to find what I wanted I was taking my 5yr old Grandaughter to a 08:45 Hospital appointment - We had left the house in Kawhia Rd early to be in time but just after we left - She said that her Shoes and Socks were wet! I could see they were Soaked, so told her take shoes off. - We got to Hamilton at 07:25 and raced to Kmart - we were in and out of that shop within 10mins and had the Perfect socks and shoes - her feet had to be dried to get the new socks on. We got to the clinic with 1min to spare! If the store had been messy - we wouldn't have found everything in time and Everything was just Right!

Love kmart. Huge selection, low prices and fair quality for the cost. I always love browsing through the ever-changing selection of goods. The checkouts in the middle of the store was probably a bad move business wise - too many opportunists around these days. The security at the door check receipts but it's only ever a quick glance, I often wonder what the shrinkage percentage is vs your Te Rapa store where the checkouts are right by the door.

If you are looking for all kinds of personal stuff or stuff for around home, Kmart is a great place to get what you need at some fantastic prices. They have plenty of free parking with proof of purchase Shoes and clothing at great rates and ethically sourced. Great game and toy options for kids and gifts. Really affordable things for the kitchen.. These days it's a bit harder to get service and the checkouts are all automated so if you're looking for a personal experience you won't get it here. But you probably will save yourself some cash.

A very affordable and cost effective store, with prices that won't break the bank so to speak, from a clothing perspective the range is not to over board nor lacking in quality. The staff are helpful and the security guard is welcoming, and just as helpful as the store staff. The store layout is excellent and the signage large enough to see where each department is located

Kmart Te Rapa in Hamilton was great. Fantastic customer service and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Don't bother with the new one in Hamilton Central. They wouldn't know customer service if it hit them in the face. I have a detailed review of that store if you wish to know more.

Lots of products, lots of customers but at Christmas self check out line all the way back to 2 walls of the shop while customers tried to self checkout, many with young frazzled children. Not a Good experience this time of year. However at other times a much better experience. Time to browse and purchase, queues manageable. Staff always very helpful and friendly. What's not to love about Kmart?! It's turning I to the new IKEA - where you go in looking for one thing and leave with the whole store! Handy location in the centre of town with ample free parking on site. Great place to stop in and buy supplies if you're heading to any of the nearby sport fields.

The Kart store in itself is fine, competitive pricing, covering a large range of products. However the mall style complex it is situated in appears to be on its last legs. Purchases receipt is required to redeem free parking, so don't throw it away.

Kmart is excellent value for money and always open. The location is good and lots of car parking which is free. Self checkout speeds up the trip but can get busy at Christmas and other holiday periods. If you want a bargain then this is the place. If you want the best then probably need to go somewhere else.

Kmart opposite the bus stop in Hamilton is great, it has more choices than at the base, that's just my opinion, excellent parking and extremely helpful staff. We seem to get items there after looking at the Base Kmart. Thankyou Kmart Hamilton city.

Pretty decent place to shop. Prices are reasonable and plenty of sales are available. Huge range. Open almost all the time. I find it particularly good for kids toys and clothes and homeware. Check out system is the same as self checkout for supermarkets except for some reason I can't fathom not all the checkouts take both cash and eftpos, which often seems to hold things up. The place is usually packed with customers so expect a bit of a wait to pay for your purchases.

It was chaotic when we were there, cars struggling to get into parks etc. We reverse parked and then realised there was a pipe in the way so we couldn't open the boot to get our pram out. Had to move forward then back again after. Set out is a little weird with the checkout in the middle.

Surprisingly good atmosphere here with upbeat tunes being played out. The usual huge selection of cheap items of all sorts is to be expected at this stage but still worth mentioning. Good store, you'll almost certainly get what you are looking for.

I went to Kmart for the first time three weeks ago. It is a nice store. The only issue I had was getting out of the parking lot. I spent well over $10 and it wouldn't let me leave. The operator let me out soon enough. I will probably return again.

I just love this place! Anything u could ever need and more, always low prices and I'm always happy leaving there and can't wait to go back! I do have an issue though with one lady, I'd say shes a pacific islander (not maori) and she always looks me up and down and makes me feel uncomfortable as if I'm stealing, like I'll look at her and she's looking at my stomach/pants region which is really uncomfortable and I always take a double pram in coz I have twins and she looks at it thoroughly to see if I've hidden anything I think?? She just plain and simply makes me feel uncomfortable, shes usually on the door and occasionally helps at the self check outs. But yeah, this is such a long review lol, but I honestly think she needs to be taught how to deal with customers A LOT better!

Love to shop at kmart. So afordable Everything you might need is there. Clothes such a wide variety. Footwear for the whole family. The kmart magazine gives you ideas how to style your home . It's wonderful. It's awesome. The only downside is the limited check out counters. Christmas is crazy and the queues are way to long to wait in.

Kmart is one of the cheapest departmental stores in Hamilton. I bought my quilt cover and pillowcase for 14 dollars, and I love it's quality. I also got a 20L microwave for 65 dollars. Cool, right?

Bryce Street Kmart Hamilton is by far the friendliest ans helpful of the stores. The layout is expansive and the isles have plenty of room to move around and view products comfortably. Other stores seem quite claustrophobic and packed in. The self service is time consuming at times however the staff do their best to rush about and help and for those who are negative or blame them for your frustrations with checkout, you are sad. It is not these girl's fault, take it up with kmart. You know it is a self service checkout system when you shop there, why whinge about it everytime. Love Kmart

I LOVE this place. They have afordable clothes, homeware, gift ideas, pet stuff, furniture. They are open until midnight, lots of parking, and it's free with a purchase. Must go!
