Went there early in the morning to avoid Xmas people traffic. Staff were all really helpfuk. Two diffenent staff saw me looking fir stuff in different part of the store and offered their assistance. One of them even went to the back and check for me if the item I wmwanted was in stock and It was. Kmart offers great values, it out performers in terms of value for money if comoare to the Warehouse, other Pet stores (accessories), what's more is you can buy similar items at Kmart to what you can buy online say Ali express but without waiting for posting from overseas. Can't beat the values. This branch in Te Rapa currently open 24 hours leading up to Xmas, with ample parking at front multiple entry and exit to the main car park. Go early or late to avoid crowd/queues and if you are worried about Covid. This store is very popular with locals as the next closest store is all the way in CBD. There is something for everyone in the family at K Mart.

Finally a bubble machine that blows alot off bubbles. Thank you Kmart. Parents grandparents this machine is amazing . It needs alot of batteries and bubble mix but if your children like bubbles then this is the machine

Friends have told me this is the best Kmart in the upper Waikato. It's good, well stocked most of the time. Staff are helpful and lots of parking. I just wish they could lay it out similar to the town Kmart though because it's really easy to get disoriented. The self checkout system is good too but sometimes it would be nice to have more than one person available to checkout if you're not confident on your own, or if you have any questions. Overall, great experience shopping here.

Good prices, got what I wanted. Helpful staff. Would love to see a Living Wage tick on the door. A lot of people like to shop where they can see not just quality products, but a proper pay so staff also have a good quality of life. First time at the Te Rapa Kmart, and yes I will be back !

Probably the best Kmart to shop at in the north island. It's well kept and things are easy to find. Clean and tidy and have never seen it over crowded, so easy to shop.

North end of Te Rapa straight with substantial off-street car parking shared with several other major retailers. Easy level access. Scanning in expectwd (paper record optional) and hand sanitizer available. Phenomenal range of stock well displayed and accessible. On shelf pricing satisfied by the strategic placing of "price check facilities". I was impressed by the number of staff busy throughout the store on my visit pre-midnight. Courteous, pleasant team members.

Who doesn't like K Mart? Went I was in there a couple weeks ago. I was looking for a few bits. I had a very friendly lady approach me to ask if I needed help. Helped me with everything I needed and even helped carry a heavy item to the check out. Thank you lady (I'm sorry I forgot your name). Honestly the best customer service I've had. I had trouble figuring out how to download my afterpay card. Maybe an hour or so later I realised my phone wasn't compatible for it but within that hour the employees tried their best to help me. After finding out about my phone not being compatible the first employee that helped let me use the app on their phone. They didn't have to but they did and for that I am truly thankful 🙏 I didn't catch the name of the employee but they had a snake tamoko or tatt on their arm 😊

Staff slow to assist in the self checkout area. This is due the same person covering these also working the register serving reps. The flashing lights indicating help is required are covered so they can't easily see you require assistance.

Cheap as chips and you can grab some bargains, but unfortunately this last order.. the 8 cube shelf design has changed since I last bought one 😞 it's definitely not as strong as my last one. Due to the sides being 2 pieces instead of 1 long one. Too late to return but I'm disappointed

Some nice items for good prices but some advertised products were out of stock, I can understand that but the most annoying thing was so so many times I couldn't see the price for the product and so had to go scan it, especially around the kids toys section, diabolical.

I have found beautiful clothes at reasonable price for my twins at Kmart. Despite the reposition it’s quite slow and sometimes I have to go more than once to find matching clothes (which it’s annoying as make me waste time and petrol) overall this shop it’s perfect to find a wide average of stuff at good price and better quality compared with other stuff warehouse (if you know what I mean). They offer also on line shopping :)

Every Kmart have same deign. They also got hips of car parking available most of the time. There entrance is very nice with checkout service in the middle of the shop. I ALWAYS LOVE Kmart, but I understand covid may have a part in a few things, I was a little disappointed about their female bra's there used to be different types and designs etc, it felt they only had the basics and sports bras. I still love coming here but it would be so nice if they increased their ranges when it comes to bras and undies for females in all different shapes and sizes and designs. I love their beauty isles too! The staff are always so nice here everytime I've been so great job to the staff!(:

Was from out of town and decided to shop for some items. Struggled to find some items and decided to ask for assistance. This was very hard to find and eventually found someone at the changing rooms. Whilst asking her for help she just started yelling at a lady customer whilst I was speaking with her. So unprofessional and very off putting. Eventually paid for what I had and decided to leave the rest I was hoping to find.

I'm not sure what the point of the security person checking receipts on the way out or how reliable their checking is. Looking at a receipt want tell them what's in a bag. Go back to manned checkouts if you don't trust your customers

I hadn't been to Kmart in Hamilton for a very long time, but when I walked in the doors, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was laid out so beautifully, with easy to see and read signs, a variety of products, very well spaced aisles, and easy to find checkouts. A huge improvement on the previous store.

Nice big open store with lots of products leading up to Christmas. However I was a bit disappointed as I was asking one of the staff members if there were any more of the dolls I was looking for (there was 4 of one type on the shelf). He said no that's all there is till end of the week. Within 5 minutes I was asked if I needed something from another staff member so I explained what I wanted. He went out the back and bought in 6 more different ones. Needless to say I walked away happy.

A nice open plan shop thats well lit, but it has two bugging issues. 1 the lack of arger size men's short sleeve dress shirts that are not also short in the body. Not all big folk are short. 2 the constrained area coming into the checkout area is to narrow and crowded especially for prams, wheel chairs or walkers.

Everyone loves Kmart! Make sure you pack extra cash, or shop with your eyes closed, otherwise it's impossible to only come out with the things on your shopping list. They must have an amazing shopping psychology team who know just where to place all the items so that they can tell you that you need them. I try not to think too much about how cheap everything is and how it gets to be so cheap.

Took my Mokos to jangos was small like a mini chipmunks very popular but didn't check we paid for school holiday prices under gives were very expensive for what u would pay and you had to buy there socks for health reasons which is a plus not sure seen that in ads so do check they were to free on the safety gate being opened and little little kids were getting out so u have to have eyes everywhere loud but fun not much for toddlers more like bigger kids.

Festive Season is upon us and trying to get as much shopping done before Xmas and NY 21. Kmart is handy and when we arrived, got what we needed however, also needed a few things for grandchildren. Luckily for us, Kmart came to the party also since there was a major Rugby Match being played nearby. Clear to check out... Be prepared for delays if your heading into Kmart, traffic is building daily as more people start to buy from Kmart, Countdown and across the road...The Base. Remember, try starting early or online to beat the crowds and if you've got infants, kids, children or teenagers. Work something out with partners, to help you coz it will and can get C R A Z Y this time of the year

Excellent place to get home appliances and clothings. Kmart's warranty policy is supper easy and open. Staff is very generous and helpful even it is a busy day. Once it was a long queue of Easter weekend, I were there. Staff went to all customers in the queue and asked their apologies for the inconvenience happened though give us chocolate to enjoy rest of the time in queue.

Not a great first experience. Just needed to get one item so didn't look around. Wanted some assistance with the self service checkouts ( not many human staff around) I did get my help but the human didn't seem happy to be at work. I Would give a high rating for customer engagement but Idid get the help I needed. I hope this is just a one off and not an example of what happens when retail is run by big corporates.

When I went there, very few staff wore face cover, social distance was not a concern. I went to check for a product from online, not available unfortunately. I think I scared a customer service lady as I wore a face cover, she was not. Was she surprised when she saw me! The company does not endorse face cover on its employees! Unfortunately many who went shopping there did not both with social distance concerns nor face cover as well!! On level 2 as well! Your choice! I prefer safe place for shopping where face cover is supported!

I bought the wrong size trampoline. I contacted the staff and told them of my issue and they very promptly organised another for me and were friendly and organised when I came into the store and they had obviously discussed my predicament. All the staff members involved were extremely helpful from the young man in the toys section through to the counter staff and the manager. Extremely good service, thank you and keep up the great work. My daughter was ecstatic with her new trampoline.

This is a low priced, variety store and suits mum and dad shopping for the family. Plenty of sealed parking out front. Wheelchair access. GPD.

Nice variety of many thing from household items to kids toys with very good prices. If you are going specially to buy something, better to check it online and use check-in store feature to assure that it exists as many times I visit without checking the availability of it at the store. We usually buy toys for kids from this branch.

They seem to never be at least half stocked, especially the body care section. There's always shelves empty (which is amazing from a business perspective) which provides problems when trying to get particular items. The Kmart in the CBD of Hamilton doesn't have this issue, I don't see why this one should have it?

Kmart Hamilton is awesome. Normally ample parking, 9 times out of 10 I can get a car park close to the entry. Huge range of products. They have a toilet facility but you have to ask staff in order to use it. Checkout people are pretty on to it and friendly. Thank goodness too because those reserve kiosks can be a pain sometimes.

It's a bit rough having someone block your exit and ask for your receipt of every customer, had to wait behind a crowd before I was allowed to leave the store so security could check we had paid - It's not the customer's fault you decided to put checkouts in the middle of the store... stupid design! Stop treating your customers like criminals and train your security to watch the checkouts to ensure the flow is consistent

Quite a big size store with good range of everything. But their staff simply cannot maintain the customer toilets. I have asked them 3 times in the last six months as my son wanted to go urgently and every single time I was told toilets are not in service. We travelled from Miranda to Te Rapa specifically to visit Kmart and purchase a glass electric jug and a pair of walking shoes with Velcro fasteners for me. The store is spacious and pleasant, and I found what I wanted very easily. I put on the shoes and we went to lunch. The shoes were unsuitable, causing pronation of the right foot. When I returned to Kmart, they graciously allowed me to test another pair, and when that too proved unsuitable, they refunded me immediately. Excellent service and first-class customer care. PS The glass jug is very good indeed.

You need to sort your exit lane. The main lane, fine. The other end of the lane, can create an unofficial line. Otherwise, fantastic Kmart.

Kmart is the holy grail for finding just about anything you could want for a low price. Anything from homewares and clothing to confectionery is here. If I ever need a cheap t-shirt or anything for my desk, Kmart is my first stop. They have plenty of free parking right next to the shop entrance, and the shop is generally well-kept considering the volume of customers they serve daily. The shop is also open late, which is convenient when you realise you need a birthday card for the next day. Do watch out for the weekends though, most checkouts are self-serve so you might be waiting 5-10 minutes to pay for your items.

A great store. One of the biggest Kmart. Lots of products and services. You'll get many items for cheapest prices.

Seems quite under-staffed sometimes, especially at the checkouts. They are all self service which is great, but a lot of people get stuck or need assistance and it can take quite a while as there is often only one person to help.
