Good service, except no one approached me at all. I had to go to them. I know there is social distancing but 🤔. I had to carry a little fridge to the counter and ask questions about its price etc. Why aren't they pricing their products, especially when it was about 6 or 7 kilos. 🤨 4 stars, this rating won't let me change the star rating, when I'd reflected on what actually happened, the rating went down ⬇️.

On Monday we were we greeted with a friendly smile as we walked into the store. Looking for the children's section, we were warmly directed upstairs by another smiling assistant. At checkout we were once again greeted with a smile and cheerful conversation. Searching for gift paper downstairs. ..another cheerful assistant led us to a selection and then finalized the sale. All within 10 minutes. Great staff Farmers. Makes all the difference.

This store was pretty much like all the other farmers I have been to ( setup wise), just alot bigger. There was so much to choose from that it was slightly overwhelming. when I asked stuff for help, they were very nice and friendly and lead me to where I wanted to be rather then just point. Large layout (men's, woman's and beauty products downstairs, with baby/kids toys and furniture and appliances upstairs) Very clean and open, plenty of checkout locations, parking around the perimeter of the building. Red dot sales plus other promotional times of the year the best time to shop. There are also membership rewards for frequent customers.

I came into Hastings store last Thursday 28 November . I had the best shopping experience. First in the toy department when I had to return something. Robyn was extremely helpful, made the experience so great . I did some Xmas shopping in the beauty department. Where Jo helped me choose gifts for my 3 daughters . Lovely store to browse in with two floors joined with access by escalators and lifts. Wheelchair friendly. Everything from make-up & fragrances to good range of men's, women's & children's wear; household items such as tableware & ornaments; gifts and full range of furniture. I never find farmers an easy layout to negotiate. Then their clothes range is a bit odd. But they do have good make up and perfumes. And those are right at the entrance.

Staff are friendly. Store is always today and well presented. Can often be more expensive than other retailers but quality is quite good & items last for quite a while. Huge selection of women's clothing not as much men's clothing though. Toys are quite expensive when compared to warehouse/Kmart/toy world.

Farmers Hastings is far better than the Napier Store. I was going to a party a few weeks ago and desperately needed something to wear. I went over Saturday morning and the Sales clerk didn't stop helping me until I felt comfortable with what I bought. It has happened to me before, there is much more to choose from, and I will say it again, the Staff are happy to help you.

Top personal service in Hastings. Napier has NEVER had the level of service or atmosphere that Hastings has, which is a shame. Very helpful, caring, staff. When my elderly mother, needed to wait for me, to bring the car around to the car park at the back of the store, a staff member brought a chair outside, for her to sit on. Over and above when it comes to service. Thank-you Staff you make Hastings a pleasure to visit! Bought some fab gifts at Christmas time and everyone was delighted.
