J.Visited the Hastings store last week for the first time. Best customer service as the staff are superb. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A young girl named Caitlyn in the Photo Centre made myself and my 90yr old Mum feel so welcome. She was polite, patient and very knowledgeable. Thank you.

C.This store has a fantastic range of furniture, but the best aspect is the wonderful service. My sister was looking for something very specific and the assistant led us straight the the perfect item. We would have hunted for ages without his help and guidance. The item in question was a chair suitable for post-hip surgery and it is perfect. Pay a little extra and you get 7 years of fabric warranty with cleaning kit and Scotchguard, and a little more for delivery and unpacking - well worth it.
J.Click n collect never works so again had to wander the store to find items I wanted.
K.I have brought a lot of different house products over my life time and always had great service and now I have ordered three recliner chairs so will have to wait till they arrive hopefully not to long
J.Kept getting mobbed by sales people one after the other after saying we were fine which induced a anxiety attack and wiped me out and had to go home from town early 😔

s.Good selection, and potentially could have purchased something, if it wasnt for the pesky sales man. Sales people should learn to read a customer - my husband HATES a sales man trying to make the sale - guaranteed as soon as a sales man approaches us, we will be out of the store within 5 minutes!

S.When NL messed up our insurance claim, even trying to deliver a damaged product Harvey Norman stepped up and smashed them, sorted out our new fridge and understood the specifications of our damaged hifi rather than trying to supply a massively inferior product.

R.I ordered a pair of silver Sony noise cancelling headphones online from Harvey Norman and the following day received a message (because I missed a call!) from Lades at Harvey Norman Hastings. Lades notified me that the silver colourway was out of stock and reserved a pair in the black colourway. I ended up confirming I would like the black colourway and received them the following day in the mail.

S.I have only shopped here a few times, mostly for electronics and once for outdoor furniture. Not tempted to return no matter how good the sales are, outdoor furniture was expensive and lasted a single season before the coating was peeling and wood separating. In the electronics side, I seem to attract poor advice when I'm not asking for it, like telling me the HDMI converter I'm picking out is only for Mac, despite me knowing exactly what it is I'm purchasing (which was a generic HDMI converter for anything). To sum up, I occasionally end up here but it is right at the bottom of my list now.

M.Good range and friendly helpful staff. I made three purchases in three different departments and had to use my eftpos separately for each purchase which was rather annoying. I hadn't realised that each area was a different franchise owned by different people.
D.Not bad, your normal electronics/furniture store. Though it is a little confusing sometimes because it's basically broken up into 3 companies (furniture, electronics, televisions etc) and it's not a seamless transition between them as I would expect for what from the outside appears to be just the one company. Other than that they're friendly and had everything I was after.
O.Excellent customer service and easy to approach. Finding things is easy with plenty of signage will always go back.

I.Excellent help from the IT tech Chandpreet both at the time I purchased a new laptop, with the set up and copy over of data from my old lap to also installation of Norton antivirus, but also when I had a follow up meeting I had with him today. j.The best seller by far is a skinny pakeha fulla who wears glasses called Mark... Just give your price range and your intentions for use of product and he will save you time and money... He is very informative and knows each product well... He makes tough decisions easy because he gives u the ability to compare performance of machines not just comparing price... Very patient and professional... Obviously the only person we deal with there... 10 out of 10
T.Interesting experience here. My wife had a dead HDD that she took back to the store to return, and they flat out refused to replace it, even after I had told her what she needed to tell them. Went in with her the next day, and they replaced it on the spot. Not sure what the what the deal was the previous day, but no issues with the guy there the next day.
