V.An amazing bookstore. I called in on a whim as I was passing through the town.
Friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have what I was specifically looking for, but offered to order in if I wanted.
R.I love this shop. The staff are fun and helpful, the atmosphere is amazing, there are little notes everywhere with reviews of the books. It's just a magical place. Sometimes I will think up a reason just to go visit it after work. Even if I've run out of planned book purchases.

N.I absolutely love this book store, both in Havelock North and Napier. They've always got an amazing unique range, the staff really know their stuff and are always happy to help! Since moving away from the Bay I now use their website and it’s fantastic - I ordered a book online yesterday and it arrived today and postage was free! Cannot recommend this company enough! K.I first spent some serious time deliberating amidst the laden carrels in Wardini a couple of years ago. The literary provocations, consolations, and diversions gleaned in that three week period companioned and heartened me through a searching time. Returning this summer to both Havelock North and Napier branches, I was freshly envigoured by the trove of lexical pleasures within. The staff are ever interesting and interested, helpful and infectiously enthused by their product. The layout is accessible and I cherish the enticing touches such as the book reviews written on yellow card by the resident doyenne of whichever subject or genre you might find yourself browsing. A local institution to treasure.

C.One of the best book stores in the country. You're guaranteed to find something interesting, impressive for a smallish store. Loads to look through without being cluttered, and the staff always seem friendly. Lots of cool greeting cards too.

T.Oh wow, what a treat! I could spend hours in here browsing the range and taking with staff. Such a great collection of books - covering all tastes and genres. Nothing like your chain bookshops (Paper Plus and Whitcoulls). This is a splendid bookshop and well worth a visit!
