I was pleasantly pleased by the attention I got from multiple staff, even tho on Black Friday, that was helpful and supportive of my gifting needs. They offered advice on best purchase options and even offered to wrap my gift, a task I’d rather endure a root canal over than do myself.

Purchased scooters for Xmas. Didn't get the colours we wanted at the time but sales assistant put our name down in case colours came in, was called next day to exchange! Exceptional service from toy department would highly recommend to everyone.

The First thing I look for thats important to me, is, when I go shopping how friendly and relateable Staff are. I like to shop where there is Good service . Or perhaps outstanding Customer care. I have always found this on the First level of farmers department store. After purchasing some Christmas shopping And going to the counter to pay, I was very impressed when the sales assistant asked my Husband and I Would we like help to carry our purchases Downstairs, and I really appreciated 😌 that. You know its the little things in life that really matter. And that mattered to us being that I had a sore ankle That day even though my husband said we would be fine, Just that someone cared made our day just a little brighter. If only I could clone this dear lady and put her in every shop I would. Great service from upstairs at Farmers Invercargil. I'll be back.

Highly expensive and elevators are hard to find same with the different areas of the store. People working the sample tables are picky based on looks to weather they will interact with you. Highly clean though and a lot of the staff are really helpful if you need any help

So I bought scarves today and it was supposed to be half price, 50 % red dot sale but I paid for the original price. The guy at the counter said it needed someone to authorize to change the price and it was not scanning properly. The point is don't put a red dot sticker on the product if the price is not reduced. It is misleading the customers. I was really disappointed about it.

Generally I enjoy going to Farmers. I was looking for toddlers sunglasses but couldn't find any. I asked a shop assistant and she suggested I go to the $2 shop. I was offended as these are for my grandie. I did expect the sunglasses to be available.

Beautiful lady Anastasia in make up took so much time to help my daughter find the perfect foundation for a ball. She was so helpful, and went over and above the best customer service I've received! Will definitely go back and thanks to this lovely lady for being professional, helpful, kind and efficient. 😄 Very happy customer.

Great place to shop for clothing to suit all the family Household furniture..untensils ..soft furnishings. Warning if you use their car park be aware it's only free for 2 hours then you get a parking ticket which makes for an expensive days shopping when travelling from out of the area. They do have a sign up but it's not easy to see on the way in. I would like to suggest they put a larger sign at eye level so visitors are aware.

To the Manager of the Farmers Invercargill Branch Store . My wife and I were in Invercargill during this last weekend . You should be very " PROUD " of your staff . We purchased a lot more than we intended to spend . One of the main reasons for our over spend was the help fullness of your staff . Very few large stores these days have the asset of excellent staff . I am nearing 70yrs and the service in your store reminded me of the old fashion service we were used to . Excellent store offering a huge range of clothing, homeware and kitchenware. Fabulous deals regularly. Kids clothing and toys are awesome. Friendly staff and good customer service. Highly recommended.

Staff in clothing section chooses whom they want to serve they probably judge from your clothing if you are worth their time. Upstairs kitchen ladies and bed ladies are awesome. Rude, judgy arrogant cosmetic show offs downstairs but upstairs are nice warm personalities.

My husband and I were looking a purchasing a recliner chair. We tried them all out for comfort and made a decision which one we were going to purchase. There were no sales assistants about so we sat on the recliners and waited. A sales man turned up and approached a couple he knew by name and had good old chin wag with the male. Then a female sales assistant (374929) came and asked if we needed any help. She is one of the most friendly, helpful and politest sales people I have come accross. We left extreamly happy and commend her on a job very well done. Thanks farmers for employing such a wonderful sales lady. Keep the good work up.

Well what can I say, I was grossly misinformed and find the sign very misleading as farmers is not farming related in any which, way or form...unless you the count the ornamental tractor in the home ware section or the herd of mindless shoppers lolly gagging around the shop. I have left bitter, confused and slightly let down by the world and wondering if I can really trust just a 'shop sign' again. Kind regards
