New Zealand is crazy expensive for hardware products compared to Australia for example
But the empire mart try to offer cheaper prices

M. B.This shop has anything thing you need. They have a huge dressup section if you have a dress up day or party. They also have kitchen ware, stationery, hardware etc. Etc. Everything is well priced.

T. L.I had to service my sewing machine recently, went to Empire Mart and they had every thing I needed to do the job, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Its got foundations of a dollar store but its got so much good items on top.
Great hardware options from chains and hinges, crazy prices on plywood and ropes of all sizes. Need to tie up your Titanic at the wharf? They got the rope for it.
Party supplies, costumes, basic electronics and all your sewing needs.
Always something great to be had here, if you have never been you are missing out!

A. S.What a total shopping mall Good to know it is in Kaitaia. Everything one needs is there....from single screws to fancy dress outfits. Lance, the manager or owner is a lovely man; ready to chat for business or well-being and specifically aimed at helping customers with a smile.. pleasant. The staff however are very solemn and less inviting to encounter. A wonderful place to shop. Thank you
r.Always come to this store for cheap supplies in all ranges from stationery to household items, building items, accessories and baby things also cheap toys for the kids & sewing material arts and crafts...Good range of different things for cheap prices overall it's a good store.
