M.Very impressed! We ordered a cake topper for delivery, but unfortunately NZ Couriers let them down and didn't deliver in time (5 days). We called, and within a couple of hours, on a Friday night, Jess from Build a Birthday personally delivered a replacement! Amazing service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
M.I didn't buy anything today but I came in looking for a price check for a gender reveal and the lovely lady who helped me was 10/10 fabulous! Her service was top notch, she was super knowledgeable about the products and services I needed and was very chill when I had a million different questions.

Or little guy wanted a Minion themed birthday party, but couldn't find anything minion related. Not only did this place had the balloons and toppings in stock, but also gave great suggestions for the birthday cake.
This place might be a little pricy, but certainly more than make that up on quality of the products, attention to detail and brilliant service.
I certainly recommend them to our friends.
A.Absolutely fantastic service after we got down to level 3 I had asked if my order would make it by Saturday (party day) and was picked up at 4ish pm Thursday arrived in Oamaru on Friday morning. Would recommend and I will be shopping here again x

This made her day during her small covid lockdown birthday Thank you so much for making my 4 year old very happy on her special day. We will Defiantly be using Build a birthday again .
L.This shop is filled with amazing products to make a birthday or special occasion a show piece. It is mostly set out in color themes for that special day, with food and drink plates, cups and decorations.
The staff are both friendly and helpful making it easier for your decisions.
D.Great service! I ordered online, got a phone call the next day saying something was out of stock, but she suggested a replacement item. I said no problem at all. She said it would be sent on a certain date and it was. Arrived less than a week later everything there, and they all look great! So handy having a party supply shop where you can order by theme etc. So cool! Thanks for the great service and awesome products.

A.I didn't know this place existed but it's your one stop party (for themes/kids) shop! They have sugar printer so can do on the spot cake decorating sugar plates for reasonable prices.
W.Ordered our sons spiderman icing image from here..Made payment at approx. 2pm on the 09/07/2020 and recieved the image 10am the next morning 10/07/2020!! I ordered from here thinking it would take a few days to deliver considering this shop is located in the south island and we're in Auckland...Nope! Fast delivery and well protected packaging.

A.A bright, colourful shop with a wide range of party products (not just for kids). The baking supplies are handy to have nearby when I'm running short on something and need to top up quickly. There is a whole section featuring fancy balloons now and the window displays are always really creative.
m.Helpful staff and plenty of options choose from. Know what u want or u could be here a while. Have online options as well. Good prices, also have hire options.
C.Awesome place to get kids party supplies and cake stuff, lots of good pinatas. There's also a good play area for kids while you shop. Looked good for more sophisticated parties too.
