C.I used the online service. Firstly, the website is very professional, well laid out and a pleasure to use. There is a wide selection of books from different genres. I easily found what I was after. S.Book shops are amongst my favourite places, especially independent bookshops like Hedley's. Huge range, particularly of non-fiction, and excellent service. If I haven't been able to find a book then Hedley's has always been able to find it for me.
M.I went into Hedleys book shop the other day and I felt that I received ok customer service after I had entered the shop it took them 5-10 minutes to actually acknowledge that I was their they were too busy doing what they were doing and I feel that if your going to give great customer service to your customers then they should be acknowledged pretty much straight away I have experience in a retail environment. But when one of them did finally say hi and ask if I needed assistance I was happy with the customer service that I received.
V.Hedleys is a diamond amongst booksellers. A wide variety of titles, knowledgeable and ultra pleasant staff, magazines, childrens books and even a range of eclectic preloved books. And a loyalty program - vouchers in return for purchases. If you could buy coffee and cake there you would want to move in. Bookshop Heaven.
