Staff were really helpful when items were supposed to be in stock but shelves were empty. They took the time to search through incoming stock to locate one for me I really appreciate the service given. Thank you.😊

Was odd to have a Kmart aligned differently to others I'm used to but was very tidy (for kmart standards) and reasonable staffing although we had to wait 10 minutes at the changing rooms which they had to scurry to accommodate.

I always enjoy visiting this shopping center have seen it grow and expand through the years. Once you've had a good walk around the shops there is no reason to go to the gym. Everything for everyone. A good food mall as well.

CAUTION: There a some incredibly scary Halloween mannequins to the right at the entrance. Keep your eyes to the left to avoid irreversible trauma. Once past the tormenting skeletons you will discover cute staff and great selection of whatever you made need.

1st time in a long time since been there ... Quite hard to find stores . You think they would've names off the shops above hanging from celling to say which shop is where . Yes I was told there was a map on the window . But apart from that it was good afternoon. I managed to find KFC lol

All departments easily identified, plenty of room in aisles and aisle-ways(like pushchairs), fantastic 'changing rooms' big mirror seating if required. Good lockable doors there, again fantastic Staff to help if required. Very clean Store.

Typical super market mall. Some of the shops like the life chemist could do with a shake up of customer service as you are there to serve and you have a job because of us customers there for a bit of attention is required. Other shops had different customer service like the little Skeet shoe shop happy and a great greeting total different.

Usually very welcoming place! Always helpful with their customers, unless returning something. I was returning a product with receipt and all and apparently that is too much of a hassle. I’m not one to get super upset and angry and I will take no for an answer. This particular time a lady did give me a refund but said that her boss told me I can’t return this item again. I’m not sure if it was COVID restrictions as I was left in the dark about it. Other then that, I still go here and I still plan to go here. You can never go wrong with Kmart!

I have just spoken with your customer service representative and was very impressed by his cheerful conversation while finding an 0800 number for me. He quickly and efficiently found the number I needed while asking how my day had been and then wished me a great evening before we ended the call. I was calling Bayfair from Auckland. If this is an example of their staff's manner when interacting with the public, I cannot recommend this store enough. Well done!!

Excellent value of products that are right up there with current design trends. One big problem though - hardly any stock left on the shelves. Is that just insufficient restocking processes or is there a supply chain problem for kmart?

As an out of towner found the mall compared favorably with others around the country. Clean and tidy, with helpful staff. Noticed a lot of people are not scanning into the shops they were entering. Ate lunch at the Coffee Club which was very tasty.

Our local so I prefer it to most other KMart stores but it doesn't always have the same range in stock, often has quite a lot of things in trolleys to be restocked/sorted and the constant checking for receipts is so annoying because I hate printing receipts. Save some trees people. Your saving grace is the support that you give to our local charities, especially to the Salvation Army through the wishing tree and the difference that makes to hundreds of families every year.

Had long queues on the day i visited.. like every other Kmart during busy times but this seems to be due to kmarts checkout set up which i can't say i'm too fond of.

Love coming here on our visits to Bayfair, the toddler especially loves it. On our last visit she managed to find a bubble gun to purchase. The amount of people who asked where we got it from was astounding. So should you want one of these too, they are located on the hang sells as you enter the self checkouts. She also picked her dad some cool army black/blue shorts, a black singlet and pair of black army scuffs for his birthday, under $30. Love the variety and range in store, very clean and tidy atmosphere.

Lots if items on floor need more staff on. Or a manager of each department that can stay on top of customer service plus replenish. Would make big difference. Always good prices. Good selection of products some are pretty good value although some things appear to be off lesser quality. All in all a pretty good place for a bargain. They have some nice style furniture if you're looking to decorate on a budget. Heaps of cheap clothing and homeware as well.

Nice spacious place to shop more than comparable to Warehouse for bargains. Well worth a visit if you have the time and can cope with the Bayfair traffic. Muffin Break close by for a coffee stop afterwards. Yes K Mart is always well worth checking out when out shopping.

Kmart whakatane is probably one of the best in the country with the store feeling large and the shelves being well stocked. This store can be the perfect place for an afternoon of hunting for a bargain. The find of a special is one of the best things and their famous 2 dollar clearance is something you plainly don't want to miss. If you don't have the time to hunt the store is clear enough to find what your looking for and they often stock what you need. The staff do their best but its clear the amount on shift is part of the cost saving while it's often not an issue it can be but with the savings being past on you simply can't complain.

Kmart if you haven't been, is a jack of all trades kind of store. It has most things the Warehouse stocks and the goods are about the same low to mid quality, at reasonably medium price's 'this is NZ after all'. I'm not being derogatory it's more to do with economy of scale. Occasionally you get something that lasts but not often.

Large range at reasonable prices but the shop layout is bizarre. The checkouts are in the middle and a lot of the shelves go sideways so you can't see through the shop or walk in a straight line. You can't even see the exit from the checkout.

Always busy. The usual you'd expect from a Kmart, can be difficult to find plus siz clothing for females and when you do the items really aren't suitable. Parking is challenging during stressmas period, otherwise good value. I will often grab lunch from a sushi store on the same block, so combining Kmart shopping with my lunch stop works well

Yes bc when I walk into Kmart it’s like walking into heaven, Jesus himself lives there and is honestly probably the creator of Kmart. Anyways y’all should go shop there and live through the same experience as I do daily. you are a daily one stop shop which i admire. However your boxing day lines are quite frankly torture and i once had to leave a pink butterfly shirt because i did not have the time to to stand in the very long lines also you fulfil our needs by the use of child slave labour which i do not think is a suitable way to put items on your shelves so maybe pay people properly thanks. Even tho this is an issue we do appreciate the announcements over the speakers to remind us all that you parents trolley is not a playground. I know that recent viruses has given us an obstacle to overcome but if we all work together we can conquer all.

K mart has lots of cheap, mostly own brand products available. Recently the checkouts have shifted to self operated which can be quite frustrating. The products aren't always the best quality and it isn't that pleasant being in the store. However if you want something cheap and useable then you can typically count on Kmart to have it.

Selection of organic cotton baby clothes.Some handy natural sustainable adult clothing and homeware items if you make considered choices.Also affordable for growing families. Handled with respect most of these items can be upcycled when no longer needed or wanted.

I love kmart! - only disappointment was purchased a bike - they had sold out of the boxes ones, had to pay an extra $19 for a display as it was already put together but got no manuals etc with it & a week later the front wheel fell off - our closest kmart is 2 1/2 hrs away so not easy to return... I believe the display bikes should be cheaper not extra as they are not brand new- have been played with/tested etc.

I was at papamoa for Easter and found K Mart at bay fair the best job for their variety of easter eggs for children that were diabetic or lactose intolerant, and I was looking for gluten free which they had.They had a range of other things for children who cant eat choclate activities for them to do painting Bunnies making biscuits.They also have alot of new jobs opened which were fantastic.I would more than say the bay fair experience was fantastic.please try you will be pleasantly surprised

I would now rate KMart 5 stars Had to exchange an item- nothing was a problem .My only suggeston is they adopt the Marks and Spencers system that you can exchange or return items at any branch.

Great place. Kmart have excellent prices and a surprisingly great range of stuff. For example, I was in there on the weekend looking at shirts and was pleasantly surprised to see they have business shirts at affordable prices.

Kmart is great with affordable items. It's well spaced out. Only thing is I find the checkout is placed ridiculous. You then have to dig.oit the reciept as you leave where if you had them at the exit it would be ameasier to walk around the shop and pay on exiting. And have a walk area for the non buyers to exit and security can watch as they exit or check if the alarm.goes.

If you looking for a bargain this is the place. Loads of stuff from furniture to shoes and kids clothing toys etc. Nice eletronic and bike repairing stuff. Kindly staff will drive you to the desired isle if you ask any question. theres a must on this plaace. They open until midnight what is extremely rare here in New Zealand. Free parking as is located on bayfair shopping mall. Theres a construction happening on the roudabound now early 2020 and it does effect you to reach this mall on time , so try to use backstreets for that . Great prices bitting generally warehouse as well

Set up exactly like kmart albany. Even has the counter in the centre with the line that goes all the way around the shop. There were no shop attendants in any other part of the store other than the security at the entrance and those at the checkouts. All stock was in complete disarray, nothing where it should've been. Other than that. I love kmart but prefer to take advantage of their late night shopping where there are no ques of people and staff are more helpful.

I saw a breakfast bowl in this store for two dollars, then after I saw a bowl actually very similar but a bit smaller in a store named Cabbages & Kings on the other side of town for over thirty dollars. Always nice music playing in this store too, so recommended.

K Mart, jewellery stores, Farmers, two Supermarkets, food fast food halls (with Asian food, Indian, roast meals, McDonalds and about 3 others) several clothing and footwear stores, locksmith, Spark, 2 degrees and Vodafone, a couple of hair cutting bars. K Mart has a good range of clothing, footwear, toys, basic Sports clothing range. a great place to visit and reasonable prices.
