Small but good selection of books, plus very helpful staff (especially with post shop stuff)

I used to go to Marewa Post Shop but the manager is so rude and unprofessional there that I now go out of my way to Beattie & Forbes Ahuriri. Staff are friendlier than Marewa. Sick of seeing people treated badly by businesses. They need to remember we are their bread & butter. There's room for improvement of service at Beattie & Forbes but a damn sight better than Marewa's management.

It's always a pleasure to drop by Beattie and Forbes, whether it's to buy a book (there's always the perfect one for a birthday present) or a card or to use the post shop. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There's even a sofa!
