A.Good shop for browsing they did not have the product i was asking about in stock, and could possibly be a 3 to 4 month wait, so bought someting else instead. Sign of the times at present.

We asked her should she be wearing a mask to which she replied " I have an exemption" flourishing a laminated card attached to a lanyard.
We never asked but would suggest that she is also not vaccinated?
We did not stay in the store and won't go back.
We bought our furniture elsewhere.

V.Good selection of goods. Staff a little keen to help. Sometimes you want a bit of space to have a look at stuff. Having said that, the staff were helpful and friendly.

L.An okay place.. Staff are a bit pushy. Tried to sell me something different to what I wanted. Unfortunately no other place had what I wanted at a comparable price.

K.My experience in purchasing a replacement mobile phone was a Real pleasure that was so well handled by " JAMIE" in Nelson . I had sourced the product on line and as the special was only valid this last weekend I visited the Nelson store . Jamie was never 'pushy' as in doing the ' Upsell pitch that is a mark of lesser sales people that care not for the customers needs .
He also engaged other team members to steer me in being satisfied on the product suiting my needs. He was communicative and never confrontational . He offered the Carrier options too but Skinny was more cost effective So a Relaxed outcome was assured . Yes > Jamie has a stellar Sales Career ahead based on his Professional and Personable handling of my Handset replacement needs. Thanks Jamie . Well done !
P.Went looking for a new bed. Shop was uninviting, not well lit and not interested in selling..... Up to 8 or 12 weeks for delivery. Others can do better for sure. Shop was like an empty hall..... Two people laughing and joking noisy as heck.... Horrible place sorry

P.Very impressive response regarding a product care warranty sold to me in Australia and the Australian stores did nothing but sleaze their way out of honouring it, no wonder they can't play rugby in Australia, they can't even hold their heads high enough to see the shameful actions they commit daily. What a nightmare shopping with this bs company, NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP HERE.

i.Best prices in town and the most stock of items I've always looked for making this place a "must stop" shop before looking elsewhere. Friendly, honest and informative staff that specialize in their own field of the department.

When I went to return the item, one employee (tall guy with impeccable style) handled the return experience with outstanding expertise in customer service. They truly made it a breeze - after the past couple of stressful months, I really wasn't after anymore unnecessary stress - I was able to walk away with a replaced product in no time & a massive smile on my face! E.To date phone contact has been quick and response from Departments I required has also been very satisfactory. After going into the store I am equally pleased with the customer service and discounted pricing on some goods.
So all in all, I am very happy to rate my experiences between Very Good and Excellent. For the record: the departments have been Small appliances (soda streams, razors etc), Whiteware, (Fridge/freezers) Computers and the Photo Kiosk. I have also found the service from the Checkout in that area also very satisfactory.
M.Went to get a tv the other week, dealt with a tall man with an interesting mustache very helpful young man. good deal we got use our screen cleaner lots, although staff members were hissing at us which was strange?

And also from Eden the next day dealing with a wee false advertising issue 😡, calm and very kind gentlemen easy going and great help , would recommend the store . Tip . N.I had great advice and service from Karl, a Salesperson in the Electrical Department at the Nelson store, whose expertise and knowledge gave me the information that I required to chose between different models etc of the Bosch Stick Vacumns that I was having trouble deciding upon.
With his help I chose the perfect one for my needs and I truly appreciate his professionalism and good friendly service.
It is such a welcome return to helpful knowledgeable service.
He should be commended for his work.

C.Interdepartmental knowledge is good, less handball between different reps when you ask questions. Friendly team, clean and intuitive floor layout. Overall a good role model for some of the other stores

V.If you're looking for a bedroom suite and great friendly service, go see Eddie in the Nelson store. Great guy and very helpful. 😀 but unfortunately they come up short when keeping to delivery times and communication, as a different explanation was given every time we asked.

M.I would like to give a big thank you to your employee Chevy. We are on holidays from Australia travelling in a hire car when our GPS failed and would not turn on. We called into Harvey Norman thinking we needed to buy a new unit. Chevy had a look at our old unit and within a couple of minutes had it working again. It is great to see someone being so friendly, helpful and honest. I nominate Chevy for employee of the month award!
B.I like going there, there usually someone who knows what he is talking about ,and if they are not familiar with the stuff they call somebody else who knows. Prices are good and customer service is friendly if there is a problem. Did not have a bad experience so far. For a big chain they have good service.

S.I gave this store a 3 star because there is one pro and one con about Harvey Norman. Pro is that it pretty much has everything, well most of the selection of techs and other things compared to other smaller stores like dickamith,noel lemming.etc this is good as it can be a one stop shop for tech needs. The only con amd big one is that it is easily the most overpriced rip off stores.. Even 2year old flagship mobile phones still sell at over 1000$ where everywhere sells at a much cheaper price which is ridiculous
J.Great store, wide variety of products and the only downside is almost every salesperson in the shop asks if you need help which I never like in electronics stores.
c.Two staff at Harvey Norman Nelson have been really helpful recently. Tim in the electronics department and Cornelius in the computing department. Both were exceptionally helpful and patient.
You should be proud to have employees like them.
