S. R.I visited this spot during my Northland trip and stopped here before taking the ferry to Russell. The staff was kind and had some great customer service skills. It was a good place to get general items and bakery products. I also got a Latte which was pretty decent and also Return Vehicle Ferry tickets. Would definitely recommend! Cheers
D. T.Good shop to get picnic food stuffs whether that be hot or cold or an essentials food shop. Has takeaway coffee. Non food items stocked as well. There is seating outside with nice views to the bay and ferry.
M. M.Greg and the Girls do an amazing job! It is a great place to sho locally and the smiles are always a great way to start the day when we go in for out coffees. The new layout of the store gives it a great historic style look. Beautiful wooden shelving and great bakery... Oh also the WORLD FAMOUS PIZZA is definitely worth getting.
g. 7.Went to get an ice cream for myself and my dog. Doggy got her ice cream in a cup. Awesome!!
L.There is probably no store on the island that can match opua general store, in my opinion.
The people are all very service minded and nice,
but when it comes to the manager, MARGRET, she is EXTREAMLY helpfull!!
I had som serious private problems i had difficult to sort out, and she stepped in, and called all over the place(,even if she did not really had the time)and found a solution.
I deffnitly owe her one😅
