Tobias employs excellent staff, and so makes my regular visits several times per week comfortable. He also operates Kiwibank that now is now the only bank still open at Paihia, and the NZ Post Shop Paihia efficiently. Tobias is very helpful answering any questions you may have referring to books, mail, and banking.

Lovely bookshop. Really helpful staff and super friendly too. Not a huge selection but more than enough to keep you busy. Few toys and other boys and bobs as well. I think there is also a kiwibank and post shop in there as well. If you find yourself in Paihia then stop here!

The selection and high standard quality of books has vastly improved with new ownership. Staff are always patient with those who need extra assistance with postage, registration, banking and other services post offices thankfully embrace taking on and provide. This little town is very lucky to have a high quality stationary/post office/bookstore!
