I just want to mention the staff at farmers they do a great job ! Farmers has been around for ages one of the oldest companies in nz .Their stock is always very good one of my favorite shopping experiences.

Can be hard to find what you're looking for and the toys section always feels a bit cramped. Toys are almost always cheaper elsewhere but Farmers stocks some good stuff that you can't get at The Warehouse or K-mart. I enjoy the sales.

Very large FARMERS, nice selection in all of there departments, prices can be pricey depending on what the quality of the product is. ( this goes for anything, anyway. You pay the price for Quality) The staff are very helpful and friendly, very good to have a FARMER'S CARD with a discount when you reach your goal, all helps. Good parking out side the building and under roof parking, about 3 ways into the shop which is great from the mall in the wet weather is great, no this is a lovely place to shop, this is one of the nicest FARMERS PALMERSTON NORTH do try it. Farmers is a huge department store selling a variety of things from clothes, cosmetics, sports goods, toys furniture and much much more. Very friendly and helpful staff. Goods are well labeled and easy to find. You can pay by cash or Farmers card and pay your items off. Also collect Reward Points. Products at Farmers are good quality. They will also deliver for a small fee

Huge store! And boy do they have everything, beautiful jewellery section, perfumes & make up & clothing & everything in between!! Broad range of affordable clothes. The sizing and quality varies a lot, so try things on before you buy. There are usually staff around to help if you need it. They have pretty good homeware and toys sections. I find it a good place to buy greeting cards too. If you enter from the plaza side you have to walk through the perfume/cosmetics department, which can be pretty intense, so if you're sensitive to strong smells use the Church st or roof entrance.
