L.I have to say l found this place very good when it comes to customer service,the young man who served was very good, helpful in every way possible, say no more.
The store has a good range of appliances that you could want,
arranged around the store for people to see.
Very spacious surroundings to walk around with excellent staff what more could you want
There are also flyby points when you purchase to,
but l forgot to get those, never mind next time.
Well go check out this very smart store for yourself, hope you are impressed.

Great customer service
Something was off though - we could not find the counter desk and it seemed neither could the staff! We had a click and collect order so we go to order pick up desk but they can't help so they send us to the photo booth desk (completely unrelated)they had no idea what to do so they go to the manager which was able to serve us.
Got what we needed in the end but the visit could have easily been 30 min shorter

Not only that he offered to take a look at my old laptop, which a private IT repair company could not fix, and he got it going in ten minutes! Highly recommend for PC problems/repairs and also for new laptops. 5* service!!

A.Had a fantastic experience with the team at Palmerston North Harvey Norman.....what a difference 😀 especially after going across the road beforehand to Noel Lemming....we were ignored and it seemed we were interrupting the young rough looking guy, as he was doing nothing at the time...my partner asked about a laptop he was going to buy and this rude offensive guy did not know a lot about the product leaving us with more questions than answers.....Gill at Harvey Norman was amazing and gave us deals we were not expecting and the service was second to none....thank you Harvey Norman you won us over we are coming back....see you Noel Lemming we will never grace your doors.....time you took a leaf out of Gill and his teams book.

S.Decided to brave the sales madness and was pleasantly surprised. As we wandered around we were acknowledged and asked if we needed help by several staff members (not in a pushy way either!) which was refreshing after being ignored in the electronics store across the road. Really good signage too, so you knew what was in stock, sold out or had to be ordered in.

J.Great customer service and product knowledge. Easy parking, and goods delivered and installed next day, as promised. Staff acknowledged us upon entry and we had the floor manager for the entire time.
J.Someone has had a creative idea to cover the bollards outside the store with triangular cardboard advertisements. The shop often feels dark when I walk in. Stock on shelves was tidy. I only took a quick glance to the left at the small appliances which made a colourful show. I looked for a fast charger for my phone but didn't see one. Found a good sized laptop bag which was the purpose of the journey. The checkout process seemed quick.

There have been times where it is a struggle to get some decent service, seems like some staff are preoccupied with been average sales people.
M.Dealt with Shane in the tech bay the other day. He was awesome as. He helped me out with my sons laptop and also the swap out of a item under warranty. Highly recommend dealing with Shane when ever possible he is great.

a.Unlike most of the Harvey Norman shops, it it is medium sized. Location and parking is good, but no free WiFi, and seriously overpriced items (in general unless specific offered products, which aren't many) this is generally my last choice of physical/offline shopping.
