P. J.Super impressive Mall. We haven't been here for a couple of years and were blown away by how well it is laid out with a good variety (not overwhelming) number of shops with helpful staff. Loved it!
P. T.Very festive around this time of year. Great effort in decoration and making the place more inviting. Well positioned between Wigram and Hornby. On the way out to Main South rd. Traffic within the car parking areas can be very congested around weekend lunchtime. Avoid those times where necessary. Otherwise great versatile shopping arcade for the South West.
G. A.Game definitely lifted here in new food court, roof access and family room. Family room is pretty awesome. Clean, well stocked and with new well serviced facilities. What its missing is a higher end coffee shop and the PakNSave lets the place down in comparison to Riccarton.

A. A.The hub is amazing place. Its a really big mall with many types of shopping facilities. From groceries to electronics. Best feature is bus interchange is attached to mall.
r. d.The Hub is a really great mall, especially the Pak n save. Pns at the Hub has amazing deals, is very well run, the customer service is brilliant and its usually very well stocked. Good meat, good produce, good grocery shopping. The Hub has a great range of shops and is worth the visit.

R. S.While great selections of shops, the food court was just the same. Different types of these shops, all types for all needs. It was a concern that there weren't many parks anywhere, with the rooftop parking having to be used. This caused lots of confusion and congestion on both sides of the mall. Overall, a great place away from the main town, and incorporates necessary shops, that are affordable.
C. C.Not such a large range of shops as other malls around Christchurch but none the less still a nice mall to shop in.
A. P.Mall is decent size with an acceptable range of stores. Issue is with parking and more specifically the street that it exits into. Can quite often become so backed up with cars it takes ~10 minutes to get out.

A. M.This is a nice mall, I have been going here on and off since I was a little girl when they had those clown shows in the 90s. The mall itself has been recently updated and is much larger. It has a good Pak n Save, bookshops, farmers and so much more. I think they also have a cinema. Very good mall over all.
A. L.Best mall in Christchurch. The facilities are clean and well maintained.. Pak n Save is definitely my favorite supermarket in Christchurch.. their fruit and vegetables are fresh and plentiful. And the meat department is awesome 😊😊
D. D.Some good shops. Parking isn't the best, especially around midday. Secret is to park upstairs (don't tell everyone). I often go here for lunch these days, there is a good selection in the food court and a few other good places around the mall. Seems like there is always changes happening here, which can be annoying. Traffic.... Don't even try and get out of the mall parking exit near McDonald's around lunch time!! They really need to do something about that.
P. W.It is a mall you really can't fault a mall , food court looks awesome but the main issue I find is with the size of the mall and surrounding shops the one bathroom is a bit of a bother. Yes there are plenty of bathroom stalls but needed to walk so far to use the loo with a baby or a member of the elderly little bit of a bother.
J. S.Really coming into its own as a mall. Fresh food court, good shops. Lots of parking but don't try to get in or out off main road during peak time traffic. Use the side entrances. Brand Mall on the other side of the main road.

S. C.Good sized mall with a variety of shops and food outlets. We stopped there on the way back from Timaru. No need to go into the city if you are just passing through Christchurch
s. s.Spacious shopping mall, with all major banks inside or in the surrounding. All chain fast food store nearby and a medium size food court in the mall. Ample parking located outside the mall and on roof top. Large home ware stores, Baby stores also in the walking distance across the road. Not as busy as west field riccarton.
T.Nice centre, have visited quite a few times now while passing through. Mostly for Pac n Save and EB Games but have used a few of the food court shops too. Has a nice vibe to it. Will be better when all of the shops are open though
M. “. A.Parking is hard to find all year round and it's limited to 60 mins in most places. The food court offers a good variety of basic food styles for three hungry people. There's 3 cafes with good service and food as well.
One can find the same shops than other malls, there are no different shops. There's a supermarket (the same products have been found cheaper at other venues of the same brand) that caters for the regulars and tourists heading south in their campervans.
M. H.Excellent little shopping center, with a reasonable size food court with decent variety to choose from. Farmers is a good anchor store to have, and although The Hub isn't big on size, quality of stores is decent enough with just enough variety to make it attractive for a quick stop by on a weekend.
J. H.The hub is ok . It has everything essential you might need. But it doesnt carry boutique or any of the upmarket fashion lines , so that may stop Mid Canterbury people from coming in .My biggest gripe is the parking & congestion on the roads surrounding the hub. There has been no thought on changing some of the entrances in & out of the mall. Having a entrance right next to traffic lights is crazy.
The pedestrian crossing from the parking area into the hub should be controlled with lights so as to keep the traffic flowing fairly .
P. S. S.Hub of all supermarkets, clothes market and so many other shops. you can get everything in the radius of 500m. Very convenient for the people who lived in west side of Christchurch. Weekends are crowded. In clothe markets, almost every brands are there with cheap price tag compare than other malls and shops. It's open from 9am to 5pm so don't plan for evening. There are more other options like farmers market, new world, paknsave warehouse and other brands shops, generally open till night. If you are planning for shopping than this is place I will suggest. Parking space is eough.
T. T.I enjoy visiting the Hub when I visit Christchurch as it's easy to access and there's plenty of parking. The variety of shops and the food hall are great. And I've found the staff that I regularly deal with to be very friendly and helpful.

We park up top, there is always space and larger area to reverse and lots of trolley bays.
D. W.It's a pretty good little mall saves going into town, but you need to go early as parking soon fills up. After 1030am you spend a bit of time finding a space.

M. L.This supermarket almost complete for what we need for our journey that time. For something daily used, they only sale in one size, mostly in big size. Unfortunately we don't have any choice for not buying that thing in big size, and in our journey which is only 9 days it will redundant.
H. W. K.Good organisation mall. Most of facilities are new as it has been renovated and expend the new area. Still some of place has been emptied and the parking areas are not enough. Very busy at the weekend to find the parking place.
G. A.Love the food court-Japanese, sushi, kebabs, roast, Chinese and much more. One of the few Farmers stores left. Vodafone & Spark have stores. Worth it for Just Desserts bakery. Big Pak’n Save store. More likely to get a park on top of the mall than in the one beside the mall. If you go on a Saturday go early.

E. L.By roadside that you can hardly miss. Large shopping area with outlets as well. We stayed there twice for shopping and visited the Supermarket therein for our dinner stuff. Lots of parking space free and cafe around the mall, be sure to arrive earlier cause all shops closed by five or six p.m. except the Supermarket.

M. S.This is one of Christchurch's best and biggest malls the city has to offer. Its a great place to meet up with friends or workmates for a bite if lunch. It has a large food court with plenty of seating. The mall has a huge collection of shops and a post shop and a few banks.
S. S.It would be nice not to have smokers out the front of the entrance way, Also the sign that says no right turn needs to be much bigger people are still doing that turn to go to McDonald's it holds up the flow of traffic ive seen people in cars behind getting really hungry,
M. S.Not a bad mall...for a small mall..But car park design and entrances are a joke. (This review is for HUB HORNBY, since writing it I see its changed to "back country gifts??" And says Rangiora..not sure what's going on.
S. W.The updated food court is great for a range of foods! Pakn save in Hornby just doesn't do it for me anymore and the shops in Hornby aren't even that great I think the only shops I actually visit is Pagani and Farmers... the warehouse out the back of the hub is more my spot 😂
D. P.It's a great little mall with all the usual outlets, great cafes and eateriers. The only problem I have found is the parking ofetn very tight speces that is if you can find one, even the roof top parking can get very busy
S. L.Parking is a little scarce but the revamp on the food court is refreshing. Not as many shops as riccarton mall but just as busy.
J. M.After 2016 improvements, the mall has a large variety of stores including a food court. Parking has also been improved with more roof top parking.
D. L.Not a bad wee spot. Has all the standard shopping options, the food court has no main stream takeaways (So no mc Donald, KFC etc) but these are all located fairly near by.

K. B.90% of the time easy to get a park, always good shop's on offer. A real mix. Farmers, cheap shop's, Pak'n'Save supermarket, shoe shop's, phone companies, jewelries, book shop's, hairdressers, cafes and decent food court with a good range.
S. K.Local shopping centre, hub stands for 'Hornby urban burrow'. Located over the roads are dress smart, Briscoe's, the warehouse, toy world, rebel sport, time zone, baby factory, bed bath and beyond, many food establishments on or near property. Mall contains pack n save, teas me, EB games, farmers, jewels, trinket shops, cosmic corner. Worth a visit if you have an hour to browse or wanting a chilled place to have a coffee. Currently has a once a month or so pet night so you can feel comfortable taking your best friend with you shopping!
R. H.First time I have ever been here. I liked it allot. They have everything you need in a mall and more. The more is s movie theater. Cool place definitely recommended for a browse.

J. M.A great little shoping mall since the renovations, I can generally do most of my shopping there. Adequate parking although obviously it is busier on weekends. A good veriety of shops.
N. F.The Hub Hornby one of the best Shopping Malls in Christchurch. We dont have to travel to the City to shop anymore. Across the road from the Hub Hornby is Dress Mart fantastic shopping latest styles best prices!!
A. O.Recently refurbished mall convenient from the new subdivisions of halswell and Wigram. Also a straight drive from the airport. Next door to dress mart which is a clothing and sports apparel outlet with some good deals. Good selection of shops and eateries.

L. C.5his is a busy place that offers all that you need. I would like to see a greater selection of shoe shops but otherwise it is a really good mall.

B. W.The hub hornby is looking good after its recent facelift. Good range of stores now and is clean and tidy. The mall used to have a cinema attached to it which was closed down some years ago. This was a shame and now means that a trip for a film and shop goes to either Westfield or The palms - both of which are decent malls themselves.

I.Big open space. Nice and cool air conditioning. Plenty of parking for disabled people. Japanese food in the food court was brilliant.

S. S.Probably this is the largest shopping area with variety of shops and stores. It is on the west of Christchurch and the roads are beautiful here especially the Carmen Road. This hub comes in your way if you are going towards Southland and Otago.
N.Great mall and great stores across the street also dress for less if you like brand names the mall has a pack in save and muffin break to name a few . It's just the right size

S. N.I've shopped at The Hub Hornby for a very long time now but I try to avoid it if I can is the congestion in the car park on the lower ground is horrific. Trying to get out of there can take up to 20 minutes when busy.

B.The Hub is a practical place where you find from supermarket to chemist to department stores. The only con is that the parking spaces are limited and during the rush hours getting in or out can be tricky.
