G.Farmers Richmond has been in place for a very long time.A far better range of product than in Nelson, even though it comes from much the same distributor. Staff are faultless and in some cases have been there many years, in my case I drive 50 km to the store, and spend reasonable sums. The discounts are clearly built into the prices, but the quality is there.
L.Great service, had exactly what I wanted. Homeware dept. Bought some well priced acrylic glasses.
P.Very small farmers shop and does not carry every line understandably. O did not get what I went for and was no approached to see if I needed help. Disdappointing

J.Has lots of stock and good sales. The entrance is in the Richmond Mall. There are escalators to get to the second floor.
We have bought luggage and linen there.
Make up and large men's wear department worth a visit.
Children clothes department good too.

S.I love this shop. Always well stocked and the staff are nice but a bit over-run. I hope they don't keep staff numbers down. Stressed staff does not make for good relaxed shoppping

J.Wonderful, bright department store and we have it in Richmond! One of the better Farmers stores in the south Island, a beautiful shopping experience.
D.A great walk to the summit easy to follow signs. Would highly recommend doing this walk during September or October as summer months would be too hot. Plenty of seating at the summit. Take your own water as there's no drinking water there. Great views from the summit.
P.A really nice store. The sales lady upstairs was super helpful and even checked her computer for a product in a totally different store.
M.Annoying how kids area is upstairs. Layout is weird. I've bought new merino over winter season that has ended up with holes. Even with the appropriate care they still got holes and pulls. Over all the shop is a great place with lots of deals

K.It was only an okay visit. We arrived just in time for store closing time, so the woman that served us was in a hurry and tended to want us gone. We would have bought more things if we had time. If you're thinking of shopping there, I suggest you get there early.
