Alex, Angela and Emily are part of a professional and knowledgable team who are a pleasure to deal with. Asad has just completed a vinyl laying job for us, and we couldn't be happier. We have had bad experiences with flooring companies in the past such as long waits, poorly laid products , huge messes to clean up after the job. Not so with Flooring First. They were first to quote. Their products were the best and their advice was excellent. Their price was the best with no hidden surprises, unlike others. They removed all existing floor coverings and their preparation work was outstanding and very thorough. The flooring arrived very quickly and was expertly laid. Their installers really knew what they were doing and they were very good to work with. Everything was cleaned up after the job and their boss even came out and planed a door that was sticking slightly and did not charge for this. The floor coverings that they installed are stunning, transforming our old cottage's interior into a beautiful modern home. There was a very generous discount for prompt payment. Flooring First Richmond are the best Flooring Company I have ever dealt with and I have no hesitation recommending them. They are by far the best and we have had considerable experience with a lot of rental properties to deal with over the years.

We engaged Flooring First to lay carpet tiling at St Barnabas Church, the plan was to repair the existing tile flooring and lay over the top of these but on further inspection Alex was concerned that wouldn't deliver the best result so he and his team decided to lift the old vinyl tiles which required a lot of extra effort but resulted in a quality finish to the overall job. We found Alex and his team to be very professional, their workmanship and service were of the highest standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Flooring First to anyone.

Amazing service and expertise from first to last. Alex and his team were able to do exactly the job I needed done - Seratone lining around a bath, electrical and plumbing, in a rental, at short notice because of a tenant moving in. In contrast with another company who said I needed a complete renovation at more than double the cost as it was not possible just to do the job I requested. Also laid vinyl in another bathroom. Alex took lots of time to discuss the job and have a really good look, then came up with solutions which were workable, affordable, and did the job required. There were no hidden surprise costs and the work was completed promptly by his tradesmen. They came on time, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. Would use them again and would highly recommend to anyone considering general building work as well as flooring. Excellent friendly service from everyone on his team, from shop staff to tradespeople.

Quality materials and expert installation work. My house has been transformed. The carpet is luxurious. The Lino lifts the look in each room. All work was completed in my absence. The flooring was vacuumed and ready for furniture. They left no traces of their presence. I'd highly recommend Richmond Flooring First and I would use them again.

I first met Alex of Flooring First, Richmond when he was able to lay some tiling at very short notice in an older house I was renovating. Incidentally he identified hazardous/illegal wiring which had been ignored by another electrician and was able to complete the necessary rewiring again at very short notice and just prior to Christmas. I very much appreciated the extra mile Alex was prepared to go for a customer, his work ethic and his very high standards of workmanship.
