B.Ordered a mouse, went in the early afternoon to collect it. was told by the website that if I clicked a button that someone would bring it out to me. after about 10 minutes of waiting I called. No answer from the dept doing my order after 2 attempts. Called the dept next to them and they instantly tried to transfer me to the dept that wasn't answering their phone. Eventually got someone to answer who said they couldn't find my order (which had apparently been ready since the morning), after about 25 minutes of wasted time I finally got my product. Not recommended, avoid.

M.Would have given this review 5stars had I not had to chase my appliance part 3times from 6July to today 29July....until I was finally served recently by Rachelle. She was excellent in securing the part I needed and following-up on it's location and most importantly keeping me informed when the part was on its way to arrival today. J.Helpful service despite being very busy so you may need to wait to be served. Was able to find what was needed at a reasonable price. The collection area at the back was easy to access and the attendant there very helpful. He loaded the goods into the car for us.

l.We needed to get my daughter a new laptop for school and personal use. With both my wife and I having years of retail management experience we know what type of service you should experience but all to often dont. I have to say that our experience on Saturday was fantastic. David , who had the sence to let us get settled in the section we were looking at came over and welcomed us to the store. From there on in he was awesome. Was knowledgeable enough without geek speak and when finding the purchase was for my daughter began asking her for what she would be using it for etc, etc. Making sure that her needs would be met instead of just speaking to her parents ,he involved her in the process, my daughter thought this was awesome, when she pointed out later that the laptop was for her and not us.
At no point was he pushy , nor attempted to sell us anything we didnt need while pointing out the things we would need and hadn't thought of. 100% because of how good he was and how easy he made everything I decided to buy the gaming setup that I had been thinking about getting for a while but was leaving until later in the year.
If you go into Harvey Norman Rotorua and need anything from the Computer / Entertainment department I urge you to ask for David's assistance. He is polite, knowledgeable and sincerely helpful. No two ways about it I would have loved having the man on any of the retail teams I have managed over the last 20 years. He should be recognized and commended for his service.

R.I had my grandchild with me while I was doing my photos and they were saying it's dangerous her running around. Which made my visit stressful considering there is a process at the photo booth. Maybe put a enclosed play area close by to the photo booth.
l.Dont like the customer service there. Only shop there when I know what I want and cant buy it anywhere else. Dont have to have help from anyone.

T.Went shopping while on holiday. Took a while to get some assistance from anyone even though the shop was relatively quiet. But never the less we got what we wanted and we're quickly served and on our way. Store is pretty much set up the same as the one at home - albeit slightly different.. made finding what we wanted easy
V.Love getting appliances from here as the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have good deals and you can definitely use your Airpoints card if you have one. I bought an LG microwave and it was not functioning properly, the staff got me a brandnew replacement on the same day I reported the defect. Well done, Harvey Norman!

N.Had to exchange a TV due to a fault recently. Logan in the electronics team was absolutely brilliant...kept in contact and arranged delivery and installation. Nothing was too muh trouble. Storm was also very helpful to get warranty sorted. Look after these 2 staff Harvey Norman!

D.They have absolutely all the stuff that you may(or may not) need..I needed stuff which they had and they sold it to me very well...trump likes to buy garden furniture here which he uses and relaxes on when taking a break from building the wall...went in 22/5 to buy laptop, wanted something decent, salesperson useless, no clue, no reccomendatation wandered over to competitor (across car park with initials NL)..completely diff attitude, lots of help, covid discount, walked out with laptop under arm and happy...your loss HN..
