Reviews of McLeods Booksellers
Must visit, inspiring history of the bookshop. And knowledgeable owner!
Incredibly lovely, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Excellent range of books, but also willing to order in anything not in stock.
Great bookshop. A reliable place to find that book you've been searching for.
Amazing selection of reading material, beautiful puzzles and other items. Well-informed staff, great service.
The most gorgeous bookshop in Rotorua! I love it because it had many books that I hadn't seen in more mainstream bookstores such as Whitcoulls or Paper Plus.
It's lovely, if you enjoy reading and are looking for a good book you should go there! They have reviews of certain books that are written by the people that work there, and they give great recommendations.
I love this shop and the people who own it locals who are part of the community of Rotorua, who have made a tremendous contribution to literature and the artistic community. I have always loved reading and my two adult daughters have developed a love of reading as well. It is always inspiring to walk around the shop to check out the latest books. I am a novice poetry writer as well and would one day like to see my book on their shelves. Merle Thorpe has also had a very long history with Floral Art in Rotorua and it is lovely to be able to share our 50th anniversary with her and the family book shop with a floral display which will be installed at the end of the October. Thank you, President of the Floral Art Club Rotorua RAVE village first Thursday of the month studio two 1pm. Uria Jenkins
Lovely bookstore! Free books outside their store front initially drew us in (although we still would have entered the store anyways). The owner was extremely nice and easy to chat with. Atmosphere of the store was amazing, wish we would have had more time to meander through the variety of books. Love supporting local shops!
Always great. Friendly helpful informative staff.
Great bookshop, great recommendations, knowledge, and service.
