Stamps & Coins Rotorua is a fantastic stop for philatelists and numismatists. Lois, the proprietor, has a selection of items for browsing. She's highly knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions. I spent hours there in conversation and picked up a few choice coin sets as well.

Ran into this place while looking for gold and silver. Ended up talking to the man and lady there (I am ashamed to admit that I forgot their names). I didn't buy anything, but it was a wonderful experience and I'm sure that any philatelist or numismatists would love the quaint setting and find that jewel they've been looking for.
