J.We purchase our spa in 2015. The delivery went smoothly. The delivery guys were great and helped move it into the right location. They also advised the best orientation/position based on the model that we purchased and the location it would be installed in. We had one issue early on with the blower pump but that was taken care of promptly. The pool is used 5 or 6 times a week and is still going strong. I keep up the maintenance by replacing the filter each year and replacing the water as recommended.
M.These guys are awesome!!! We bought a spa a few years ago and it has been amazing! Great value and a good quality product.
But the real test of any business is in their after sale service. We recently had an issue with our spas controller - and even though our warranty was out the team at Kiwi Spa Pools stood by their product and had it repaired in less than 48hrs!!!
I would highly recommend this product and the team that stand behind it!

H.Happy Kiwi are the absolute best! It was so nice to meet and deal with a genuine Kiwi owned business and the service is second to none!! I have contacted them on a couple of occasions with some pretty basic questions and they always respond immediately with the answers. Whenever we need more spa chemicals or filters it's as easy as an email and they arrange delivery. We have just plugged our spa back in for the 3rd winter and are loving it. If you're thinking of getting a spa, look no further than Happy Kiwi, you won't regret it :-)

The spa cover I ordered sat in the depot for well over ten days and I had to call the freight forwarder three times, eventually it was delivered and was damaged. Angela from Kiwi Spas brought a new cover direct to my house on the day she found out. Kiwi Spas were extremely unhappy with the service provided by them as was I. In future I will continue to purchase replacement parts and accessories from Kiwi Spas because of their commitment to their customers.

Pool is still going perfectly fine, I contacted happy kiwi last week to enquire about getting a replacement lead, great follow up service even after 5 years. Lead is on its way. Also fab value for money, all we have done in 5 years is replace the filter and now a lead which is not a fault of the pool - got damaged during other electrical work being carried out. Have replaced one pump and three covers in that time.Covers are probaly only negative,have gone to another make of cover and seems to be better.Secret with keeping spa sparking is cleaning filter every week and changing filter every year,quiet economical to run. M.Like other reviews on this page, we didn't have a positive experience with the previous owners. Terrible communication and attitude. However the dealings we have had with the new owners, have been quite the opposite. We called into their (now former) East Tamaki office to purchase a new filter, and they were informative and helpful. Actually the whole environment was different. Bright and welcoming. Now after 5-6 years we need a new cover and clips, and while pickup would be quicker for us, they do offer a delivery service which we will use. Communication is prompt and helpful thanks.

C.We had purchased a top of the line spa pool from the previous owners of “Happy Kiwi”. Unfortunately we found out after he had sold us the spa pool and sold the business that he had shafted us with an old stock spa pool that was no longer covered by its “manufacturers warranty”. During the sale of the spa he had told us the company was in he midst of being sold but he would still honour any warranty issues should they arise.
Surprise, surprise, he went “MIA”. Couldn’t be found. We were, as you could imagine, not impressed.
We stopped in to see the new owners of Happy Kiwi, discussed our issue and were asked to supply photos of the part required and serial number of the spa itself.
We were so pleased to find that Angela and Brett went into bat for us with the manufacturer and secured a part we required from the manufacturer under warranty.
Legally they had every right to say “sorry, not our problem”. However they happily did the exact opposite, and in turn kept a family of five very happy.
Such an amazing team to deal with.

C.Impressed with this company, asked a question on trade me regarding spa cover 9.30pm at night and received an answer straight away as to how to go about getting the correct cover size (as we had purchased a second hand spa). The next day, I emailed photos and dimensions and they responded quickly with quote and also included a manual (which I had not asked for but very handy) on how to use the spa functions. The Spa cover has only just been ordered so not yet received but the service so far has been fantastic.

1.When you purchase a product in the thousands you would expect the business owner to be at least a little appreciative for your custom - to say the least. The previous owner of Happy Kiwi however was the most disgusting foul mouthed little individual we had the misfortune in dealing with and that once our funds went into his account you became a "burden". We brought our brand new spa five months ago. Recently we had an issue with a certain part that is covered by warranty, ( and not an inexpensive one either ), that I know he would not have honoured as his behaviour dictated so. Thank heavens he sold. New owners Angela and Brett are two very intelligent, obliging, down to earth honest individuals that are what all business owners need to aspire to. They promptly replaced the part in question with professionalism and courtesy even though they had not been in this business long. I am in business and we operate in the same manner. All the best to you both Angela and Brett. We are highly recommending Happy Kiwi 2018 personally and throughout the construction industry.

C.I would like to give a big shout out to Happy Kiwi Spas, and in particular Angela. Our pool keypad failed due to water ingress / condensation so became unusable, albeit the pool still functioned. The supply of a replacement at no cost and within a few days was fantastic.

J.We've had our Happy Kiwi Spa since 2014 (I think) and it's been generally great. We live in New Plymouth. Sometimes we use it a lot, and other times it just sits there costing money to heat (that's our issue, not anyone else's). Anyhoo, over the years we've had a few things go wrong with it, but the team at HKS are always there to help, plus I've got a mate who has helped me sort some stuff on the circuit board. We recently replaced the original lid (the new one is much lighter and the water runs off it because of the updated design). We also got a lid lifter, which is less necessary due to the lighter weight lid, but still worth having I think. I installed it myself, but wouldn't recommend you attempt it unless you're a bit of a handiman yourself.
I guess we qualify as happy "Happy Kiwi Spa" customers :-)
m.Amazing product and service from these guys. They go beyond your expectations on all levels. The value is as good as it gets in NZ for a spa. If you're buying a spa in NZ this is the place to go.
