Clothes a good price of $3 everything else, expensive as! $25 for a buzzy bee?? Edited as a reply.. 50% of your items weren't collectable and not worth on selling. Perhaps you guys need to evaluate what you think is an antique, collectable or something worth on selling. Of all my years dealing with the 'market' I've never seen it like this at a salvation army store.

Nice place, good friendly staff, ornaments are always overpriced but clothes are $3 unless designer childrens are $1

I love shopping in hokohoko shops and Salvation Army shops are my fave. There is so much variety and things are in pretty good condition. It feels good to know that I am getting a bargain and I am contributing to community care and support.

Great store for clothing at most $3 for adult clothing. People can now afford to dress their families at this rate, children's clothing $1 each. Thanks Salvation army store Taupo, finally getting this right. Let's hope all Salvation army stores follow this way...others in different areas are extremely high...that is disappointing👎.
Thumbs up 👍Taupo 🍀🍀

One of my favourite Salvation Army shops - pricing can definitely be on the higher end but the quality of the goods tends to be higher. Have found some great vintage items for good prices (for what they are, and much cheaper than would be found in an antique store).

Good selection of clothes and other things. Good prices as well, spent some time and money.

Massive stock. Some great finds although most have been pulled into their separate vintage section with prices to match. They take care with their collections and the layout of the store is great. Pricier stuff at the front in the vintage and designer sections, then your traditional op-shop racks. I came during a sale, all adult clothes (excluding white tagged items) for $3, amazing. Most of the clothes are missing tags entirely so it can be hard to tell if the item was ever once a 'white tag.' They have designer racks, so it's safe to assume if you pull from those they won't be part of the sale. I found a great pair of pants on one of the middle racks and when I got to check out it turned out they weren't part of the sale. Not a big deal, but the woman at the counter was quite rude when I asked why. I can only assume they have a number of issues with people breaking off tags, but I felt her attitude was unwarranted.

Always a nice place to browse and there are beautiful things to buy or just look at if you so desire.

Best op shop I have ever been to (and I have been to many!) The stock, pricing, quality, layout and feel of this shop is all just right.
I'm so pleased I visited while in Taupo ❤

Easily the biggest Opp Shop or second hand store I've every visited.
Loads of bargains to be had, and proceeds go to the Salvation army, so you get a bargain and help support a great cause.
B.
Not a bad OP shop. Some things are a little expensive but most things are good value. There's 10 or so car parks out the front

This place never disappoints. Furniture, books, sporting goods and all other items sold at impressive prices, plus who doesn't like a good find
P.
Very good prices for clothes but anything that is vintage is extremely expensive.

Unfortunately I shopped there today 7/03/22 and the maori lady on checkout was very rude to me. Wasn't impressed as I've always had lovely service. The people beside me weren't impressed with her either.
