We're posting this review due to the exceptional service we received from Aaron in the bedding department. He had to complete our order by getting a duvet cover from another store. He was polite, efficient and very knowledgeable about the products he was selling. He even emphasized the washing instructions. He certainly gives Briscoes a 5 star rating! It's a pity the rest of the staff don't match him.

Would be great to have a more detailed rating options. I went in yesterday 05.12.21. I was after a product that showed available on their website. No sales or service person on the floors to help customers. Had to stand 15 min in line at the till to ask a question. The guy I dealt with was Brent and he seemed very stressed. When I asked him for the product, he said straight away without checking, they they haven't had this product in for week. I told him it showed in stock on their website. He then said, even if it shows in stock, doesn't mean we have it in stock, there could be just one floating around somewhere. Well that didn't sit well with me, so I asked to please double check. Literally 2 min later , oh we have 20 in stock and they came this week. So I asked him to please check out the back as this product is a life changer for my partner who just had a massive OP and I kind of bagged him to check. While he went of, Brooke a other staff member joined him searching as she heard how much I needed that product today. Brooke went above and beyond and said it may take me a little while, but I'll find it for you out the back. It took good 15min and Brooke came back out with a massive smile and the product I was after. I went to pay, and Brooke came running once again and got be an additional product in support for what I needed. Honestly if it wouldn't had been for Brooke, I would not had the amazing outcome I had. To the Briscoes head quarters, my suggestion is to put Brooke into the management role, and you will have a 1000000% better running store with more happy customers leaving. To have no staff on the floors for customer help service, and to have to staff on the till to say a product is out of stock when not even checking is simple unacceptable. Shame I can't rate separate here, as Brooke deserves a 10/10 for overall service and other staff 2/10.

Great store, lots of items in there. The biggest annoyance is the carpark. There is never enough parking for the multiple other stores around Briscoes. So you really have to choose your time of day to go there. Once in the store it’s fine and you can find almost anything you might need. I’d only ever go there when there’s a sale on. But there’s nearly one every week so it’s ok.

Wow love the new layout in the Tauranga Briscoes .Far easier to get around rather that like trying to find your way around a maze . Something for everyone in Briscoes with 2 mobility parks right outside .the one way car park is much better to .

Great store. Briscoes stands out as being one of only a handful of chain stores in NZ that knows how to have a real sale and get people willing to spend their hard earned cash through the door. We found what we wanted, but due to the stores popularity, this Briscoes outlet had only half of what we needed so we shelled out the cash and got the rest from another store.

Briscoes always have a great selection of household items and you can enjoy the many sales they have on here. It's a busy place so get there early as parking out the front goes first but there is a big car park around the back.

Got the best deal ever today 50% off some gorgeous drapes for my home. All checkouts were open. Quite a wait to get through but store wall to wall with people and everyone was quite happy to wait as the staff were ever so nice about it all.

Good selection of items. Not as comprehensive as some stores but good parking and easy access. I wanted outdoor furniture and they only had a few sets to choose from. And I wanted an ice cream maker but they didn't stock them. Friendly helpful staff tho. I phoned the store back when I got home and the staff member took the phone out into the store to track down and answer my question about the on sale outdoor chairs and also had info about courier costs. Very impressive. I brought back a hair trimmerI bought two days ago. It wasn't doing what I thought it should. She very professionally checked it then informed me that they can't take this back, but also asked what was it I was looking for. Looked up your web site and explained that they had just the one, but we're out of stock for two or three weeks. She then went and checked the shelves and found a similar one, and when I asked happily discounted that one at 50‰ off, same as other one had been. I them asked her do you sell Nutribullet's. I told her mines not working but I've lost the receipt as I've just moved., but I can show you my bank details online. She said that's OK and checked it out and then went to the check out and proceeded to scroll back to my transaction. Asked to get a new one off the shelf, got the wrong one so she swapped it and gave me a new replacement. Boxed it up, I signed the paperwork. I got home, tried out the bigger hair trimmer "happy as", did exactly what I wanted. Now on the charger Happy Camper.

Not very happy that Briscoes take your money online and then put your order on backorder. Why not say your out of stock. I also received an email to say they were sending me seperate parcels to speed up delivery. What a lie!! Every other purchase has been very good with fast delivery.

Great homeware store, you can find most of the popular homeward brands here. They have good stock levels and a well laid out store. Of course they also have extremely regular sales on with 'heavily' discounted prices, I don't think I'd be likely to shop here if there wasn't a sale on as the source called standard ticket prices seem quite hefty on some items. Their sale prices are more realistic of what standard pricing should be.

Staff were great, but took a long time to be served on the floor. They apologised for the wait, and explained they were short staffed. Unfortunately this also meant there was no fork hoist driver to lower the item i wanted from storage. The queues were long, but it was labour weekend to be fair. Better planning of staff is recommended. Store was tidy, and seemed to still be quite a bit of stock in the store. All in all, an average experience due to a lack of staff.

Certainly lots of home buying for all areas of the home, even inexpensive items like dish mats and plastic shower hair caps. I was looking for an online suitcase advertised online cheaply, to check personally before buying and the young modern instore assistant I asked to show me the case gave me the impression by her manner that I was a waste of her time. She was neither pleasant or informative and as soon as she found the case, took off. This is the first time I'd struck this at Briscoes.

I love going to Briscoe, but always wait for one of there sales as we have all come to learn now, that Briscoe are always having sales so no point going if they are not, wait a few days and sure enough there’s another one happening. Most of us public don’t know why they just don’t lower there everyday prices and stop having so so many sales.

Some staff members excellent a couple were hopless. Ordered fry pan that they were out of stock a great staff member ordered it online. It was here next day in morning that was excellent service.
