M.Great store. Friendly staff. My fave buy so far has been the cat house. My older cat likes blobbing on the top and my younger cat likes to beat the crud out of it like "what did you say about my mum? I'll go you bruv!"

V.A current lack of mammalian pets as of october/November 2021 though due to covid this is fair and understandable, the people manning the store at the time of my visit, two women and a tall guy were very helpful and kind, the fish I had got are doing healthy and well, disease free and well plump! Thanks for the good experience Kiwipets team.
I got two bolivian rams and two Kribensis dwarf cichlids, one female and one male, they've been in my 200lt long tank for only a week and they're already trying to breed, colouring me surprised. Thanks from whakatane

S.I recently purchased a powerhead for my aquarium. The assistant at the end of the phone was lovely!! I then ordered online the item, which to someone who lacks tech savvy, was effortless. W.Last night I purchased what I thought was an aquarium heater but on re-reading the info after the purchase completed I realised that it was in fact a heater protector. The heater was for tank being looked after by friends of a couple who were out of town for health reasons. The original heater was broken during a tank clean. The fish-sitters didn’t realise the importance of the heater for the fish so in my haste to help I made a rushed purchase on their behalf to try to limit any injury to the fish. When I realised my mistake I emailed the store explaining the situation and requested they not process the sale hoping for a store credit or refund. What was Kiwipetz response???
THEY took into account all the info I’d shared and very generously and kindly gifted my clients a tank heater for the price of the protector to ensure the fancy guppies tank remained at the optimum temperature and the fish lived to see another day!

k.I ordered a fish tank and some other stuff but the tank turned up broken not kiwipets fault.. it got broken in transport I rung them and they had a replacment tank sent to me ... customer service was top notch ...will definitely recommend
N.Thanks Abbey for an amazing groom on my fur baby. With her having a Shitzu/Pom coat, I know she is difficult to groom and she can be a bit of a drama queen but you always do such a professional job and are great with her. Would never go anywhere else:)

L.Pretty good the manager and owner are amazing and know their stuff. Shelves are almost always full and they are ready to pass on any knowledge and help you with their recommendations of stocking and what equipment to use. The cat dog sections are tidy and have cute rescue kittens regularly and pups are just as cute. Rabbits and Ginnie pigs there too that are soooo fluffy and love getting pats. Would definitely recommend you go and have a look. I rarely leave without something

S.Lots of things to buy. Great displays. Good location, but expensive. Would love to see staff bring more helpful. We waited for absolutely ages at the tropical fish display before asked if we wanted help.
