K.A great option for keeping the kids (and older enthusiasts) entertained. Operated as a retirement project by a very friendly couple. Extensive track layout with close viewing and very modest entry charges to what is the only model railway attraction in Auckland.
L.Glenbrook Model Railway is an experience that is not to be missed. I have been wanting to visit the the model railway for a long time and had the privilege of attending it today. The owners work, time and dedication in creating and building the model railway is truly amazing and has incorporated tiny details such as buildings and icons from his own travels, life experiences and stories. The owner was so heart warming and welcoming and I had a truly amazing time as he showed be around the layout as well sharing stories and life experiences. Glenbrook model railway is great for birthday parties and private functions and is certainly a great experience for all ages. I would like to warmly thank the owner for letting me visit and experience his work of art. I will certainly be going back to show my friends and family. It is defiantly a destination not to be missed. Thank you so much!

Situated right next to the glenbrook vintage railway line.... so you can see the train as it chugs past.

D.Bring the family and have a ball, huge layout and fun to watch, my kids didn't want to leave after 2 hours of being there watching.
R.As a rail enthusiast, I recommend this place. They've done a lot of work and there's heaps to experience. I've been a few times, hope to revisit next time I'm in the area.
