Thrilled to bits with our new vinyl planking It looks great and is much warmer and softer underfoot after having cold polished concrete floors which were cold and hard underfoot The Flooring layers were very courteous and did a very professional job

Fantastic job by the team at Flooring Xtra, we are very happy with our new carpet. Tom has been great to deal with.

Flooring Xtra have installed both soft and hard floor surfaces for me, in my home and another house on the property. From the beginning of my projects talking to the staff in the store right through to the installation, all personnel have been a pleasure to deal with. Advice is given in such a way as to still respect personal choice and it is not a problem to bring home samples to ensure colour schemes are visually pleasing. I am now working on another project for a cottage and look forward to a fun relationship working towards a common goal.

We are new to Wanaka. Our experience from beginning to end has been excellent. We are pleased with carpet for our 4 bedrooms. Pricing was competitive and Pip in the showroom and the installers Alex and Braxton provided great service. Ordered and installed in a week. First time for us and hope to use them again. 5/5 from us. Further to the install we had a couple of wardrobe and sliding doors, very old style. We phoned the store and Mike in charge of installation and more came immediately and resolved all our issues. So a big shout out to Mike. Thank You. Great service indeed.

Wanaka Flooring Xtra were fantastic to deal with when I recently re-floored my house. The sample selection was great, they fitted in with my time frame and there were no delays. And to cap it off, they laid the carpet and vinyl with perfection. I would highly recommend using them if you are renovating.

Absolutely great service from the Wanaka team. The measure and quote were very promptly done, the wonderful staff helped in the almost overwhelming choice of which carpet was the right one. The two man team that came and laid the carpet were friendly, polite, considerate, cheerful and very efficient. Two large rooms were cleared, old carpet and underlay quickly removed and disposed of, then out rolled the new underlay, so pleased we went for 11mm, totally luxurious underfoot, and then the new carpet. The stairs required a lot of effort, removing the brass edging and then applying the underlay and carpet, a beautiful finished look. I can not recommend Wanaka Flooring Xtra highly enough, we are thrilled with the finished look. And their post sale care and attention has been exceptional.

Staff are easy and very politely helpful . great to have in your home with my dogs and child they also have wonderful advice like to keep extra carpet due to pets, which I ended up needing when the cat peed on the carpet from inside a cage due to broken knee joint ! They gave good advice for me not to get wool carpet as would fade as my place wall to ceiling windows. They recommended the 11 ml underlay which is great under foot. I also got a list of recommended tilers in my area from them which saved me time and energy ! I had a bad incident with an service worker for my garage door, he was offensive being racist in front of one of their staff, I felt he handled this awful communication very well, and felt very glad to have had that staff member with me when this service worker kicked off at me for saying Kia Ora as an greeting. I was thank ful to have have meet an number of staff in shop and office and also the men that laid and repair man they sent I also had extra carpet made into mats and I must say that was very cheap to do through them! Thanks 🙏

We recently purchased new vinyl planking for our kitchen and carpet for the rest of our house from Flooring Xtra and had it installed. From start to finish they were great to deal with, they were well organised and we are loving the look and feel of our new flooring. Thanks again team!

Flooring Xtra have been so amazing to deal with. They have bent over backwards to make this an easy and efficient process. Tom is so personable and accommodating. The carpet installer was in and out of the house so quickly we barely even saw him. Very efficient and great service in all aspects..

Everybody in the store has been very friendly and helpful from initially picking a carpet to the installing. The guys installing the carpet were friendly, knowledgeable, and great to deal with. Assets to the company. I would deal with this company again in a flash, except it might be another 30 years.

Great experience working with Tom and the team at Flooring Xtra. We were dreading having to select our bathroom tiles and carpet - it can get overwhelming with so much choice. However, Tom listened to our vague explanation as to the interior of our new house build and gently steered us in the right direction, keeping in mind our budget and the 'look' we were aiming for. So what we thought was going to be a headache with much to and fro-ing, actually turned out to be a very straightforward and enjoyable experience. I have just had beautiful New Zealand wool carpet layed in my bedrooms, it has made such huge difference to how the rooms feel and so warm and soft! Flooring Xtra, were so helpful and everything happened with ease. The team that laid the carpet did a great job, they had a few tricky bits to work with. I am so stoked with the results.

Tom, at Wanaka Flooring Xtra, has always been extremely helpful and courteous. We have made 3 separate purchases through Tom and each has brought us the desired results with minimum fuss and great attention to detail. On each of these occasions he has needed to store items until we were ready, which has been done without hesitation (at the time). We have recently engaged Wanaka Flooring Extra to help us with our new build, for both flooring and bathroom tiles. We found the team to be very helpful and friendly to deal with, giving us the confidence that they were going to guide us to our finished look. At no time, did we feel pressured into having a look that we were not comfortable with. Now, with all in place, we are very happy with our choices and the way it has all come together. We would not hesitate to go back in the future.

The team at Wanaka Flooringxtra are friendly and knowledgeable. When a manufacturing flaw developed in a section of the lay, their replaced it promptly. We’re really pleased with the final result. They were able to make some protective mats from an off cut at a very reasonable price. 5 stars 🤩

I made several enquiries about carpet at Flooring Xtra and took some carpet samples home. In the end I didn't use FX carpet services (nothing to do with FX) but I have to say that to the point i reached, their service was really excellent. Follow-up, good clear information and emails, and positivity, enthusiasm, even though my purchase would have been small. I have given 5/5 for their service to the point of choice.
