This place is amazing. So nicely set up, all of the staff are lovely. Krislyn helped me find my dress!! She was so helpful and encouraging! She knows a lot about the dresses and what works well. Built me up and helped me feel confident (which can be pretty hard to do). Very patient when I found another few dresses that I wanted to try on too!!! The dresses in the shop are amazing quality and comfortable! 100% recommend. Keep being amazing girls

Can't say enough about my positive experience with Astra Bridal in Wellington. Emma was absolutely fantastic, and helped me every step of the way through picking out my dress, veil and shoes. I had the most magical time finding my wedding dress at Astra Bridal. I was pretty daunted about looking for a dress as I am plus sized and worried a lot about not finding anything that would suit me let alone make me feel beautiful. After meeting Lisa in a virtual style consult and going through some potential dresses to try on instore I began to feel more confident knowing that they had a huge selection of dresses and sizes. I chose to do a 2 hour luxe style consult and was absolutely blown away with the care and support I had in finding my dream dress. I had the chance to try on so many beautiful dresses and had the whole salon to myself during my appointment. Lisa helped me find the dress of my dreams in my very first appointment and I really felt like a princess the whole time. I am so grateful to Lisa and her stylists for providing such a beautiful and caring environment.

Lisa and the team made my experience so special! I found my perfect dress on the first try on and everyone made me feel so welcome and prioritised my needs ❤️ I would fully recommend astra bridal to anyone looking for the perfect dress and experience! Thank you all so much 🥰

I had such a great experience purchasing my wedding dress and veil from Astra Bridal. The dress I chose looked absolutely stunning and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I had a fantastic experience at Astra Bridal! I called up and they held the last of a gown aside for me, I walked in and 15 minutes later had locked it in. It was my dream dress! I was surprised at how beautiful the interior was. I think because it's not obvious on the street it may get overlooked. I highly recommend everyone check out the Astra Bridal store in Wellington!

Thank you to the team at Astra Bridal Wellington, especially Lisa who helped me pick my wedding gown. She accommodated my crew well, helped me pick out my favourites and while in the early stages of my pregnancy, secretly helped me see myself in dresses with a belly by using a prop in the fitting room, as we were originally going to have our wedding before bubs got here. After all the dresses I liked, I tried on a dress that Lisa picked and something I didn't see myself in at first, after trying it on, it was the perfect one! So elegant and classy. She envisions everything from top to bottom and even the tiniest details you give her from hair right down to jewellery and what would look great, but leaves it up to you to decide. I cannot wait to pick up my gown this Friday and am so grateful for Lisa and the team at Astra Bridal for their knowledge and keeping me updated with where things are with the dress. 🥰👰🏽 xx

With getting married after Covid-19 Lisa and her team have been great, I got my dress before lockdown and it was perfect, fitted me as if it was meant to me mind. The gowns for a plus size woman were beautiful and I was treated like a bride than a big size woman, but there were dress I could try on for my size. They were organised when I arrived with dress I wanted to see but also supportive in the experience. I have ordered all my bridal items from them, and the quality is amazing. If you are like me a plus size woman who is concerned with finding the right dress, I recommend seeing them you will feel like a bride when you walk in and you will have a dress to make you look like one too.

My virtual consultation was fantastic! Lisa and the girls were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The beautiful model/stylist Kryslin was able to demonstrate how the gowns move and describe what each dress felt like to wear. Lisa was able to show the gowns details using her phones camera and really made me feel as if I was there seeing it with my own two eyes. Lisa really helped to narrow down my extensive wishlist to just a few gems that will suit me and my expectations of the perfect wedding. I can't wait to meet with the ladies in real life to try on the beautiful gowns!.

Myself and My Wife both got our wedding dresses from there..... just amazing... the care and attention... the recommendations for alterations also great... I have to say we both looked perfect... and they squeeze you in where they can! Made us feel welcome comfortable and relaxed!

What a wonderful experience I had choosing my wedding dress here. Such awesome staff,and so helpful in every way. Kept me up to date with what was happening with my dress and very reasonable prices also. My brides maids came and we had a great time trying on dresses. Could not have asked for a better place to find the wedding dress of the dreams! Never did i ever think I would wear a fitted dress, I always thought I’d be into a big princess dress! Lisa was AMAZING and grabbed me a few to try on! First pick of hers I tried on first. I cried my eyes out and I was so happy that I knew I didn’t want to try on any other dress! Even my Mum cried!
