This is my first go-store. The layout is spacious, clean and orderly. Has almost everything you need to furnish your home apart from major furniture and electrical items. Very competitive prices and their specials and sales items are genuine and excellent value. The staff are very polite and always helpful. Top class.

Had the pleasure of returning a piece of junk (@ you ZIP 5 cup rice cooker). The cooker was nothing but a nightmare experience to tell you the truth. Half way through cooking my 5 star red curry the bloody thing started smelling all fumey. Nek minnit rice stops cooking and I have to rescue it using a pot. Hopefully the fumes don't have any adverse long-term effects on my health outcomes. Other than it ruined my dinner quite frankly. Thankfully the staff at Briscoes were very understanding and gave us a refund straight away. There was also a sale on- to absolutely nobody's surprise. Overall we had a good experience in your retail store.

I recently moved out to a new place and needed pretty much everything a home could ever need - towels, sheets, kitchen tools, pots, rugs... The list can go on and on but the point is that it was all in Briscoes and it was very convenient to get all the necessary things from one place. Only thing I see few items are over priced than Harvey Norman and Kmart.

Very professional staff ,relaxing atmosphere , it was nice shopping there.It also rhymes.

Slow to replace empty shelves; possibly cos it's still the hols. Can't find the wine glasses I wanted!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good product range for an inner city store. Accessible entrance and parking. Good flow control when busy as they are quick to open more cash registers when busy. Staff quickly helped me store my trolley of paid items for 15 minutes when I had to pop to the dairy regardless of the fact that they were busy. Once had to exchange an incomplete item and they were quick and friendly to help. Love browsing and shopping here. Edit: from 5 stars to 3. After the previous experiences, I had a not so great one. Called them to check if product was in stock and I was told by someone that "it might be" and then the line was dropped. Talked to someone else who said they think there might be a couple left. There were apparently two when they "walked passed earlier"... I was told to come have a look even after I told them I was there earlier trying to find parking which was impossible. Headoffice customer service is great but the branches in Wellington not so much.

Good service. Found just what I wanted

Briscoes is what it is. There's clearance available which offers some good bargains, worth checking out. Not always well stocked in general, and staff are hard to talk to, if you can find one.

After entering the store, I thought I got transported to The people's republic of China at the 23rd street Zhongguo factory but then, I realised that I am in fact in Briscoe. I brought a bathroom scale there.

Great deals. Yesterday we took advantage of 40% off on some kitchenware. My wife just waits for the deals ;p

A store that always has a sale (don't buy things unless it's at least 50% off). Very well laid out. Plenty of parking in the middle of the city which is nice. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for good quality everyday goods.

Lucky us - there was a sale on.

Reasonable prices and they got SALEs quite often. Check Thursdays for one off sales and weekend sales usually starts on Fridays. Another great way to trace good bargains is to find what you want in the online shop and save the link. Check it every now and then for sale and either go to the shop or buy it online. Delivery is $5 only and relatively quick. Good luck!

Love the new store. Much larger and spacious. Great selection of items. Had a 60% off which was fantastic. Went in on a busy day so the check out line was long but went fast enough.

Sales assistant who was on, 20 mins before closing time, was very helpful. She helped locate an item that was not in stock at the store. She rang a couple of branches to see if there was one available that could be held for me so that I could drop by and pick it up the next day. Going the extra mile was very much appreciated. Chloe deserves full praise her initiative and attitude.

Good bargains during their one-day sale. Briscoes always has a sale anyway. The carpark was full,but I think some of the public were using it and don't intend to go to Briscoes. Unfair for those who would like to go into the store.

Great service the staff happy to check out the back for what your looking for. The also mentioned their price guarentee program which saved me $60 thanks :) A very honest store with supportive staff that don't stalk you the minutes you enter the building.

Majority of the stuff they sell is good quality. Prices are quite high and the store has a very strange layout. Hard to navigate.

It's nice, neat and big place There are lot of products, home needs are mainly focussed. Beds, all types of kitchen items. Bed sheets towels, pillows, door mats Other items like glass and ceramic utensils. As it was Christmas time there are some discounts too.

Good bargains and quality products

Things selling with big discounts. Queue was so long at the tills we ended up not buying as we didn't have enough time to stand in the queue. Our fault.

This is a good store reasonable prices and better quality than others. FASTWAY COURIERS is used for online purchase delivery, shocking disgusting, deluded, arrogant, waste of time FASTWAY is. I will never buy online because of FASTWAY they are a joke most unprofessional company I have had the misfortune to deal with. A real Shocker!!!!

Great location and can usually get a park. Major issue is that they never seem to have any of the items i want in stock. Whats the point having a store if I have to buy online

Positive and negative experience. Really is hit and miss with staff. Some just don't want to help. We were lucky in the end as one guy really helped. It's hard to find staff in shop as there really isn't anyone walking about checking on customers. You have to go looking for staff

Big store with lots of products. Briscoes always has a sale on so you can get a bargain. I like to visit the store to see the display models of appliances before I purchase online. Only downside of shopping in-store is the waiting time to be served in weekends and when a big sale is on. There is also not enough floor staff to ask for advice on a particular item. Queuing at the counter to ask is annoying when in a hurry.

Found what I wanted without having to find staff, bought it and was gone in five minutes. Was I ever surprised to find out that they had the sale on the days that ended with y that month. Do you know that I could not believe that it was 30 % off the usual price that comes once in a month of Sundays?

Huge selection. Keep an eye out for the specials. We visited for the scanpan selection for our induction cooktop and also came away with an electric frypan. 60 percent off.

Horribly overpriced although they pretend to give huge discounts. Even after 'discounts', most of the articles were more expensive than the non-discounted items at The Warehouse. It was also rather messy with cardboard and paper strewn across the floor in several aisles.

You'll find all sorts of household items from the kitchen, living room, bedroom, laundry, garden, etc. The price range will suits any budget. Centrally located via public transport and also plenty of parking onsite.

You can usually find what you are looking for, but if you can wait for the legendary sales, which are often, then you can get whatever you need at a good price as well. Nice range. Nice quality.

The staff here are absolutely lovely, always willing to help you out and always apologising for the queue (even if everyone is on them and the wait is less than 2 mins) There are some fantastic deals here and we ended up spending a lot more than we expected because of it. Great place!

Excellent when you get something on special. Regular prices seem to be outrages. No Super Gold Card discounts which means most things are a better buy elsewhere.

Briscoes is Briscoes wherever you go. Best to avoid busy periods - go early & you will have a quick trip. Go when they are busy and not only will it be difficult to find a car park, you will wait a wee while in the exit paying queue

Used to be quite small compared to the ones in Auckland, but now the store has been expanded and become much better. The customer service is quite good.

Aside from the terrible ads they do have some really good products for very low prices.

Everything is pricey it's one of those stores that was a rotating 50% off so never buy anything at full price because next week you could of had it half off.
