I love Brown & Co!! It's my happy place :) They have the most incredible, random & eclectic pieces that I've collected over the years- people always comment on them. Really unique and cool, genuinely love this shop!!

B&CO is a well curated and interesting store with lots of goodies that you can't find elsewhere, especially in Wellington. The selection changes often, and the entire store is an experience in itself.
I've found some great finds here that I treasure to this day. The prices reflect quality and uniqueness - if you're looking mass produced, cheap stuff, stick to Kmart.
Some very strange 1 star reviews here, including some with no explanation. As for those complaining about the 'no photo' rule, it is clearly signposted.

There are some very odd one star reviews that don't ring true. I've been a customer for many years, and this is one of the quirkiest, most interesting stores in Wellington. Yes some things can be expensive but there are items for every price point and the high end things are beautiful and well presented.

Great little shop full of taxidermy and other quirky bits for purchase, from big to small. We only bought a framed butterfly for 79NZD which seemed reasonable to us, but they have much larger items in the thousands of dollars range. All animals have died from natural causes except the rats, bats and peacocks quick are culled. Having seen examples of 'bad' taxidermy these are certainly of a high quality! We were concerned with exporting such items but apparently they have not had any issues in the past, and provide a certificate of origin and a contact number should any authorities be concerned.

Discovered this little gem recently, well curated, interesting and unique stock and really friendly helpful staff, definitely in my top 10
