Great always enjoy going in and a quality of all items in their store and the staff are Welcoming friendly and well knowledgeable with their products.

A lovely airy store with well displayed stock! The assistant who helped us locate our items was friendly and efficient. A very pleasant shopping experience.

Farmer have many brand about cosmetic, cloths and items. I bought a perfume, I am very please that I can test it whichever I wish. Another item that I bought is orange Jump suite with 50% ( from NZD100 to NZD50), a lot of fitting room made quite easy for me.

I really had a morning trying on to spend my prezzie card,ladies fashion well priced,plenty of variety ,attentive older person and attentive young person to give both advice and service,found just what I needed without pressure to buy,well done wgtn

Beautifully laid out and well stocked with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cant wait to shop there again.

I like the wide open entrance and the light bright interior. I looked for socks - I saw a good range of styles in wool and cotton. I heard the makeup ladies offering advice to customers at their stands. Pleasant place to visit. Seemed busy with lots of customers in store.

Old school department store fine so well

Nice casual shopping experience. Multi level shop so could be tricky to navigate around the many areas. Good selection of clothes and beauty products. Bit pricey but always have deals on various things from Thursday onwards. Staff are easy to find and are helpful.

Came in from David Jones across the road after being provided awful customer service. It was like night and day! Staff in the beauty section, namely DIOR - thank you so much! They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back to shop in again.

Fantastic store with the staff being amongst the most helpful and friendliest I have encountered. A great array of makeup, perfume, beautiful clothes, handbags, lingerie, and so many other things, many of which are upmarket, but also many are cheap, and mid prices. So a good array of stuff to cover many bases for a lot of folks. A huge department store. i just wish they would change the name of it as " Farmers" isn't very glamorous, and this store is glamorous. Easy to find things. It's set out well. -What's not to like?! :)

Men's clothing not laid out very well, took ages finding trousers, in the end none that I liked. Much prefer Masterton store, it's well laid out.

Always a real pleasure to shop at Farmers. It's stocked well with good products of great variety. Finding an exceptional deal is not uncommon at all. Well maintained and very clean premises are an added bonus.

I was looking for a specific item. Wasn't in stick here, but staff were extraordinarily helpful. Found a nearby store which had the item, phoned to confirm it was there and to have it put aside. Thank you.

I bought a jacket on special here. The service was excellent - happy to help and knowledgeable about the fairly wide range of stock. I arrived on a Friday evening, and there very few people in the store at the time. I found a jacket that I liked, and was at a great price. But when I got it home I found it had a flaw. I'll take it back tomorrow, and hope to swap it for an undamaged one.

A once mighty store, with a huge variety of products, now limited to men's and women's clothing and a very few small homeward items. I miss the old store. Staff are friendly and professional. They are very knowledgeable do offer great advice.

I went to the new MAC counter a few weeks ago and requested a last minute make over. The lovely make up artist was called Chloe and she was more than happy to accomodate me in her schedule. She did a fantastic job and listened to what I wanted, but also gave me her opinion on what would look good. She did such a beautiful job and my make up looked untouched right up until the later evening. Everyone was commenting on how nice it was done and I recommended her to multiple people. Really appreciate her professional and caring customer service, as well as her amazing make up artistry! Would definitely go back to Chloe.

I received a free makeup session by very friendly and knowledgeable makeup artist. Because I bought the products I then received a free gift of more beauty products of good value. AND another surprise gift. It sure left me feeling extremely well treated. Well done Farmers.

Store is spacious and set up in a way where it's easy to find what you're looking for. The staff are really helpful and offered assistance as I was shopping in the Clarins & Dior counters. Thank you for your help :)

I get all my make-up from here. Great selection, including vegan products like Wet n Wild. Staff were super helpful in advising the right products for the look I was trying to achieve. Not cheap.

Iconic Farmers store in Central Wellington - very friendly staff and always a full range of stock - often I get referred there from other Farmers stores when after an item in short supply - as was the case yesterday when after an item of clothing not available at the other Wellington region stores - have shopped there for years and will continue to do so - watch the stairs to downstairs at the main entrance when you come in - helped a lady to her feet yesterday after she slipped on the wet stairs when entering the store - luckily all was well...

Boujee warehouse for middle class - rich people.

I would like to commend Millie from the ladies fashion department on excellent customer service today. I had a faulty garment to return and fond Millie to be helpful, courteous and efficient. She was knowledgeable of the process and what she did not know she quickly found out, she was also very happy to share her understanding of the process with a younger work collegue. Thanks Millie

Amazing Location for Shopping.

Sami from 'The Ordinary' counter was fantastic with outstanding knowledge and enthusiasm. My wife ended up purchasing quite a few products due to Sami's assistance.

Most of the clothes are on the high end of the price scale, only really went when there was big sales or clearance. Would of been nice to see more cheaper options especially since the store on Cuba closed

Great central CBD location with good range but sadly customer service was inconsistent across the store. Clothing racks very over crowded to the point of frustration.

Helpful staff and a good range. Wish the Porirua Store had as much choice particularly the Clinique counter which is why I travelled all the way into Wellington to pick up my foundation as they dont stock it in Ptown.

I love how we have great attendance, different great brands of makeup, nails, perfume and other things. I should work in Farmers, as I love to help people as well.

Good prices, especially if you shop on 'sale Thursday'. Consistent quality and range. Staff service varies. Pleasant store decor. This store very much focused on mens and womens fashion, and cosmetics.

Prices going up while quality going down. Clothes not cut on straight of grain which means they twist and ride up. Check what you buy carefully. Also, larger ladies have fatter upper arms which is not now catered for. Pity.

I have purchased clothing a number of times over the years at L. Qy. especially the Cuba st.. Shop years ago.

Honestly expensive and Ive had some of the snootiest retail service including one older woman in womanswear asking if I could "afford" an item I was looking at because I had popped in after the gym to buy something I had seen earlier. I sure didnt but it after that.

I have just purchased an 8 foot Christmas Tree and received exceptional service from Rochelle. She took it down and across the street to our car and then helped us to get it in, which wasn't easy. Thank you Rochelle

Farmers LQ has limited products compared to other Farmers stores; mostly Farmers LQ has clothing items targeted for office workers. They got a good range of underwear brands though.

Framers present you with different high end cosmetics and accessories in level one and clothing's in level two. lf you like high quality,branded and expensive products, your recommended place will be Farmers

Great location with great restaurants and bars. We had a super meal at a German restaurant where the service was superb. We also had drinks at a bar sitting in the balcony overlooking the bay.

Split my trousers, popped in and got two new pairs on sale. They saved the day. Nice one!

As far as Farmers stores go, a bit disappointed. Strange layout and limited stock.

Easy to find. Convenient to central Wellington. The store is slightly smaller than its other Wellington branch and therefore this particular branch does not stock shoes.

Farmers in the city has significantly reduced it's departments available to city-goers. Great for make-up, clothes, and scented home products, however since the Cuba Farmers was removed the selection at the Lambton Quay Farmers has not altered to encompass the shoes/homewares/appliance/toys sections that was lost in that branch. Would love to see a Farmer's in the cbd with this pop up somewhere - Briscoes/the warehouse is about the only cbd options with a large enough selection without going down Thornton Quay ways for homewares.

They had post surgery bras in lots of sizes- totally delighted! A difficult time has been made one step easier.

With the demise of the Cuba St store due to earthquake damage from Nov 2016, the Lambton Quay store has become the only inner city option. It offers an excellent range of beauty brands but have no manchester or homewares on offer . Staff are inconsistent depending on how a buyer is presented, I have both observed and received unwelcoming behaviour and suggest they should be very careful about judging books by their cover.

We're not local and we're looking king for furniture but they don't stock furniture so we're disappointed

Very nice shop which is three stories and has a lift. You can find men and woman's wear, make up and cosmetics etc.

Men's wear is on the basement to the left. There are lots of discount tags. Enjoying buying stuff here. Half of the floor belongs to men's.

Sells affordable clothing, staff may not be completely informed about details their range. Always double-check to be safe.

Attractive tidy store although seriously overheated. Upstairs staff follow you around the store and aren't overly friendly. Queensgate store so much better.

Farmers has been around for years. Great place for family shopping where you can find everything from clothing to accessories for kids, men and women.

A large collection of items to choose from and really clean. Not many people working to help. I couldn't find anyone to assist me. :-(
