R. H.I really like the way this shop is organised by yarn weight so it is easy to find what you are after. It also has a better range of multicoloured yarn than anywhere else in Wellington and the staff are friendly and helpful.
R. P.An excellent yarn shop, regrettably useless for anything else . Managed to have absolutely none of the embroidery thread I needed as well as a complete dearth of sewing and tapestry needles. If you're looking for knitting materials, a 4. If you're looking for anything else, a 2.
R.Knit world in Willis Street, when I went in August, had quite a variety of affordable yarn, and higher end yarn like Misti Alpaca and Zealana. I'd give more stars if they had more variety of higher end brands (e.g. Malabrigo) or NZ higher end brands like Outlaw yarn etc.

L. O.Told the assistant I was a beginner and didn't know where to start, and asked a few specific questions. I was met with an awkward stare and the only help I received was being told to look at some patterns. Had to spend a lot of time googling the answers I needed. Rather disappointed that I wasn't guided more or asked again later if I needed more help.
