I love mecca, love the products, every other time ive loved the staff too theyre very helpful and nice. Not too sure if it was just that particular day i went in but there seemed to be an over the top number of staff in the store which made it very hard and anxiety enducing to look around. But apart from that i always enjoy my mecca shopping trips!

I had my complimentary makeup application as part of Beauty Loop, the Wellington city had no appointments available, so I travelled to QG. I had the best experience with Sarmin, one of the artists who works there. She was so professional and really knew her stuff when it came to product and application. I'd definitely come back just because of her!

Pretty awesome place for all things make-up. Staff are very helpful and have expert advice. Store layout is great though is a little hard to navigate with a baby pram. There are make-up booths to try out and/or have your makeup professionally done for you. There is a definite sense of excitement here.

Generally a good place to shop and browse, though one staff member in particular ruins my experience every time. Caucasian, rather tall, long blonde hair, light to medium skin tone. Jumps in every time by treating me as if I know nothing and asks questions as if I haven't already considered them myself. Uses a sarcastic and fake tone when answering your questions or making remarks. Very judgmental aura from this one staff member, which is a shame because everyone else is always a pleasure.

Good selection of branded makeup with very helpful staff. You can also have your makeup done by the staff.

Overall service was great, but the lady that came over to us wasn't very nice i felt rushed and a little uncomfortable. She was constantly trying too sell everything to me when i was asking for a specific product.

Mecca Maxima is honestly the best place on earth for people like me, who love makeup. You can get anything here and if your not sure on how the product you want to buy looks on you, then one of the staff will put it on you. It's very clean. Amazing stuff and the only thing bad is that once you want to buy one thing you cant stop! I'm almost broke from this fab place! I highly recommend it for those women looking for makeup to buy!

The products are amazing. Lighting really needs to be sorted though. You can't see what foundation really looks like under those lights. Staff are friendly
