Missed the old Patel's daily that use too be over across the road but now there here it seems there old location is different management and have the good deals indeed...

Quite possibly the best dairy in New Zealand if not the world. Bursting with friendliness, well stocked with every beer (including Vailima), the lowest pricest in Aro Valley and some delectable curry you wouldn't believe comes out of the joint. Big ups to Virang Manjula and the team!

Absolute must try. Everyone thinks they know about “the best Indian place in town,” but this one is actually it. Authentic, delicious and a friendly local family that runs it!

Perhaps the greatest dairy in New Zealand. Virang has given me so much good things on store credit! And now with fried chicken!

What lovely people and good service to get what you need at your local shop, variety available, I always find what I am looking for they carry the most general items that one requires for the house, milk, soup, canned foods, bread, etc It’s a real life saver in a pinch

Amazing Naan, Rice and Curry for 20 dollars. Vegan and fast. Yum. Yum. Yum. Samosas were nice and crispy. Heaps of vegetables in everything. Good value. Great to see the restaurant finally running Support your local!

They are wonderful, i know everybody who works behind the counter by name now, and they always greet me by my name. i'm thankful for the chance to support a local family business. The attached fruit and veggie market next door is also wonderful with the best selection in Aro Valley. They are also the only place in Aro you can top up your snapper card.
