s.Wonderful books. I buy a book almost eveytime I walk In. Very dangerous for your wallet. Very wide selection of topics and some real gems in there. Books gets turned over often and I always see new books from visit to visit.

G.I absolutely love this place. This quiet corner is a nice break from the hustle and bustle that is Cuba Street. The owner is such a lovely man and is easy to talk to or ask about books you're after. I come here everytime I'm in Wellington and always find something that I love. They even sell some Tintin tote bags which I found to be great. A really great selection for a vintage bookshop. Highly recommend even if its just to look around!

A.A labyrinthine store with countless curios as well as books - it would make a wonderful film set. Very well labelled shelves, there is order and precision here, although its worth engaging the manager who knows his way across his stock if you have something you're looking for. He found my 2 book requests easily, one not even available in the public library system despite having been a best-seller in France and well translated. Highly recommended if books are your thing

The store itself has a quaint, cozy ambience to it. It makes you want to chill and read a good book or two or three.
It has a great collection of different genres of books as well quirky items on display and for sale.
R.This place is the definition of bookstore. Books of all types, floor to ceiling. A wonderful cavern of weirdness and classics. You need to route around (but not deep) to find some incredibly interesting stuff on say, witchcraft, English sexuality through the ages, or maybe just an old 50s space comic.
You'll find The Doors of Perception or George's Marvellous medicine in there too, Machiavelli's The Prince at the counter but also the kama sutra and How to look after a tortoise.

R.Book wormers, this is the place for you. The owner has kept the place like a book lovers fantasy world. He himself has great knowledge about the books he possess. If you love reading, I suggest you must visit this place.

K.(Translated) Anyone who loves bookstores like me will love this bookstore as well. Located in the heart of Cuba Street, it is full of books up to the ceiling. These are used and partly antique books. Here I will find more than in normal bookstores. Especially the old classics are heaped up. There are also German-language books.

Wer wie ich Buchläden liebt, wird diesen Buchladen auch lieben. Er befindet sich Mitten im Herzen der Cuba Street und ist bis zur Decke mit Büchern vollbepackt. Es handelt sich um gebrauchte und zum Teil auch antiquarische Bücher. Hier werde ich mehr fündig als in normalen Buchhandlungen. Gerade die alten Klassiker findet zu Hauf. Es gibt auch deutschsprachige Bücher.
