What an incredible experience with Alan and his team at Shoestring Decor Blinds and Shutters! Alan was experienced and proactive with discussing our curtain and blind needs. Even in these challenging times with delivery delays and stock issues- our job got done in a timely and professional manner. He worked closely with us throughout the process to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. We had the whole house done with Roman blinds, pleated curtains and remote controlled blinds. Our house has a lot of glass windows facing Wellington Harbour and gets quite sunny and hot- the difference now is amazing and the house is cool and comfortable over these scorching days. Alan and his products and services come as highly recommended. We had a combination of honeycomb blinds and curtains for our lounge and the whole scheme transformed the space without sacrificing functionality (insulation). The price is very reasonable. We absolutely love the bedroom sunscreen blinds and stylish entrance door shutter, Alan and Dawn have recently installed in our home. It is amazing how much these blinds have provided us with the privacy we were seeking, as we live on a corner section. They are also keeping out the UV rays from fading our bedding and furniture. A double win! Alan and Dawn make a great team, and we were really impressed with their eye for detail at ensuring the fit was 100%. We highly recommend them.

We are extremely impressed with Alan and his lovely partner who from day one have had the expertise and knowledge in their field. We ordered honeycomb blinds, shutters and curtains from Al and the team at Shoestring Decor. As the honeycomb blinds arrived first, Al has already installed them - what a huge difference they have made! As well as looking great, we have noticed a big difference to the warmth of the rooms. They also take up far less space than our old roman blinds, meaning we can enjoy more of the view. Al has been nothing short of fantastic - super quick with responses, utterly professional and full of great advice.

Just had shutters put into my guest room and they are amazing!! Even better than I imagined. Alan came the day after I made my initial call and was the only person that bothered to turn up to measure, so he got the job!! It was an easy process and they were lovely and friendly when they came to install. Would absolutely recommend shutters as they are permanent, easy to clean and don't fad. Alan and Dawn have just installed sunscreen blinds in our dining room and conservatory. They look fabulous! The whole process was so professional, our order was processed promptly (even ahead of time) and the price was soooooo competitive. We're loving our new look.

Very modern roller blind colours in each room. Dual blinds also installed which is great if you want sunscreen and block out blinds for the same window. Gives the house a more modern look too. Fantastic job! 100% recommend.
