As a Canadian I was stranded away from my lovely sailboat. After 2 years of still not being able to travel to NZ and rejoin my boat, we decided to sell her. We tried selling privately initially but logistically that proved to be very challenging. Mike Parker reached out to me via our listing on TradeMe and offered to be our broker at an attractive rate. Mike was the consummate professional through and through and really went well above and beyond in what turned out to be an extremely challenging deal. Thank you Mike. I do not hesitate to recommend Mike and Parker Marine Group to anyone.

I had had my classic Spencer 40 listed on trademe for a few months but while I had hundreds of watchers no real progress was made. Mike Parker approached me to assist with the sale and my yacht was sold within a couple of weeks. He made it easy for both me and the happy purchaser. The survey team was amazing and even did a bit of maintenance on the boat while they were there. Thanks

Very prompt and courteous service with excellent communications. Mike sourced a hard to find part and had it to me within three days. I would not hesitate to use Parker Marine again.

My partner and I recently purchased our first yacht through Mike at the Parker Marine Group, and he went above and beyond to ensure the process went smoothly and was as enjoyable as possible. Mike’s communication was excellent throughout the whole process - we were never left wondering about different aspects of the sale. Mike organised all of our surveys, and found us a gas fitter to do a job when their usual contractor was indisposed. He passed information between us and the previous owners, and spoke to multiple insurance companies on our behalf. We could not recommend Mike and the Parker Marine Group more highly!

My wife and I recently purchased "Double Strike" through Mike and the Parker Marine Group. Not only was Mike extremely helpful, easy to deal with and knowledgeable, but throw a level three covid lockdown into the mix and the professionalism in which he was able to facilitate our survey and have a crew make the various repairs needed was amazing. We essentially had to buy the boat unseen and put our trust in Mike and his team. We were not disappointed. Thankyou Mike for an amazing job. You pulled a rabbit out of the hat for us on this one. Cheers mate.

Having made the difficult decision to sell our launch Mike Parker made the process easy. He is an excellent communicator, negotiates well and was more than willing to assist us when, due to unexpected circumstances extra help was needed. He comes with our highest recommendation.

I recently purchased a yacht and Mike Parker was the broker who handled the sale. The whole process has been a very easy and enjoyable experience as Mike is an excellent communicator and has responded very quickly and positively to any queries or developments in the negotiations. I felt I was dealing with a very honest person who only wanted the best outcome for both parties.
Mike is an excellent person to do business with and I am very happy to recommend him to prospective clients, both as a broker and as a go to person for parts and services.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending ParkerMarine Group.
Mike was a pleasure to deal with . He was able to source my order from France at an excellent price. much better than I could get direct. I was much more comfortable dealing with a NZ company rather than sending 5K off shore. The order was received in remarkably short time and Mike kept me updated as to its progress along the way.

We have recently sold our 46 ft Pelion Challenger, MPG were the brokers, I found Mike to be a very friendly and a very good communicator he kept me informed through out the process, Mike arranged for all surveys to be carried out, the travel lift, to lift and hold of the boat for under water survey, temporary berthing at Opua marina etc, all was carried out quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Mike Parker as a broker.

Mike Parker is amazing and very knowledgeable about the products he is selling. He was very helpful and answered all my questions regarding the foul release paint that I am interested to apply in my boat. He was also promt in replying to my emails and gave me a great deal. He immediately sent the product that I've ordered and even followed up if I received it already. Excellent service! I highly recommend Parker Marine Group.

Prompt, courteous service and good advice from Mike Parker when I was hunting down a new Anchorlift windlass. And full marks to Anchorlift Norway and TNT for getting it from Oslo to Perth in four days!

Mike Parker and his Marine Group's expert assistance have been key to Tango's journey from San Francisco thru Mexico, across to French Polynesia, Suwarrow, American Samoa, Tonga, Minerva Reef, and into New Zealand. This 8500NM journey has had a few surprises. Highlighting Mike's expertise was his help replacing our 1983 vintage Maxwell VWC3500 anchor windlass in Tonga. While anchoring, the old windlass failed breaking the motor casing and gear train driving the chain wheel. Of course this happened just before our planned departure from Tonga. Rebuild was not an option and fortunately we were able to hang on a mooring ball after our windlass died. We contacted Mike and he expertly guided us through the selection of options for a new Maxwell winch system. He diligently worked the technical and logistical issues in outfitting and importing this expensive and HEAVY system to Tonga. His expert help ensured the system install without "surprises", reduced the import hassles, and minimized our departure delay. Throughout all, Mike clearly communicated with us regarding outfitting the winch, status of the order, and shipment information.
Demonstrating PMG's expertise, we also replaced Tango's whisker pole so that Tango's two person crew could safely deploy and and manage it. Mike helped us identify an extendable pole and guided our selection of options ensuring easy installation. Once again, Mike expertly managed the technical and logistical hurdles of getting the right whisker pole to Tango, in New Zealand.
Janet and I trust and value Parker Marine Group's expertise. They are highly skilled in supporting large ocean-going yachts like Tango, any where, any time. Their help when things are not "ideal" has been a key ingredient in our successful journey so far. We look forward to continuing our great relationship.

Excellent service. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and was able to quickly source the part for my trailer from overseas before Christmas which seemed impossible to achieve. He took the worries out of my hands with no hesitation. Thank you.
