Don is a friendly guy with a holistic approach to health and nutrition and a comprehensive knowledge of it all. There is an enormous range of organic fresh fruit and vegetables, various supplements, teas, coffees, bulk rice and other grains, tamari and way too many other items to list.

The owner was a true gentleman and such a great help to assist me with my questions on the best supplements for my condition, and went out of his way to source everything I needed, with a great discount card to boot. Putiputi ra is an elegant international standard store,managed by exceptional family providers with a whanau aspect to their wisdom. For a decade I have survived spray poisoning due to their beautiful organic kai and keep optimum health in a spray poison victim ,due to Don's know how and humble wisdom...ongoing.

Easily my favorite store in town, as I've always had an interest in health and nutrition. This little shop has everything your heart desires for your journey to health and well-being, whether you're transitioning to veganism or looking to gain muscle/lose weight. Roots, herbs, teas, fermented goods, organic veggies and fruits, whole grains, nut butters, super foods, dairy free... It truly is a great store, I highly recommend PutiPuti Ra and would rate ten stars if I could.

This is the bestest health shop to cover your every need including grocery items from meats to oils, healthy sweet treats, snacks, spreads, breads/wraps, rices, canned beans & more, pastas, teas-(you name it they have it), juices, fruit & vege, toiletries, tonics, fermenting equipment etc etc. A good choice in face /body creams, hair needs also..not forgetting the supplements of which there is a great range. This store has a welcoming relaxed feel & does not just stock the fancy jarred & packeted items.. This is what I consider a true health store..a one of its kind now. You'll know what I mean if you've been! Don & Heather are knowlegeable, friendly, helpful & kind owners along with their great staff.

Whangareis go to shop for all your health needs ( or most of them anyway ) This is the place to buy fresh virgin organic coconut oil .You can bring your own container or buy the oil in containers provided . Same deal with agave syrup . There's a small organic fruit and veg section , a big selection of essential oils and fragrances and a huge variety of everything else ....if it's vegan ,organic and healthy chances,are that they've got it

Putiputira is the place to go if you and your family have chosen a healthy diet and environment-sensitive lifestyle. They have everything that you need and if they don't have it they will often order it to add to their selection. I feel lucky to have them in Whangarei.

Great to have a place like this in Whangarei. Full of all sorts of organic & healthy food items & treats. Plus supplements. Hair & skin products & more. Don and his team love helping you with their natural knowledge. They have natuorpaths & Ayurvedic practitioners. Seems to always be open. A must visit spot to care for your health naturally.
