Good variety of books. Keep an eye on prices for books though, sometimes cheaper or more expensive than The Nile, Mighty Ape and the Warehouse, always worth Googling before you buy. Selection very good and love the little blurbs with the top pick books. Always clean and neatly presented. Nice opening hours too.

Great store. Best to park in Vine St and walk through cafe alley to get to the main street. Helpful staff. Good range of books, mags, art supplies, toys, puzzles etc.

Easy to get in and out of. Lots of place for vehicles around the station. A good amount of fuel pumps. Well set out inside with lots of refreshments. Quite a few other food establishments within walking distance.

I LOVE Whitcoulls .... Maybe a bit too much 😉 What a great place for gifts. I love the cute, trendy stationery. The family games and kids science kits are really fun and interesting. And the book range is fabulous.... I'd stand there forever reading the blurbs, but the way they arrange them with the top 100 makes it so easy to find a great read.

Wanted to ‘joush’ up my work desk. Found the perfect items in here today, so was stoked! Had been to two other stationery shops, but could only find the items I was after in a basic plain finish. Was happy to find some pretty items in here today that I’ll be taking into the office on Tuesday 🙂 Aside from my (geek) happiness with my finds, the lady who served me was super friendly and nice. Whitcoulls has always been good. When it was Whitcomb's and Tombes it was a place to go,and when it was reconstituted it was still a quality store. We have a long tradition of supporting their client cantred specialization.

Whitcoulls NZ you rock!. My little boy lost his wallet. When it was finally found his whitcoulls voucher had expired. You honoured it and sent him a new one.
