This is a pretty nice modern open plan mall, food hall is really nice and cosy, very romantic, costly but delicious meals, shops are $$$ but hey they are top stores..

Beautiful set up. Great collection of shops. Sadly, not many customers. Come on people, come out and eat, shop and chill in the city

Nice mall with great design, restaurants are attractive as well

Vendors and facilities are perfectly fine. However, I bought a gift card for my mum for her birthday, last year. I find most commercial retailers will kindly extend beyond the original expiry date at the manager's discretion due to the pandemic, but not Commercial Bay! She was turned away after trying to redeem the value two months past the expiry date. For anyone else that may find themselves in a similar situation.

Fantastic retail space in the heart of AKL city. So many things to do close by. Go shop, walk along the Viaduct, take a ferry. AND eat at the food court on L2 👌 just too good to miss. Have a feed there - so many yum choices 😋 Fun festive atmosphere inside n out by Commercial Bay. #Auckland #mustdo

Great to a new shopping center in the heart of Auckland. I like the multi level setup, reminds me a lot of the large malls found in Australia. Amazing views of the harbour and surrounding areas from certain parts of the mall. A lot of high stores can be found here including NZ familiar brands.

Very cool mall with niche little boutique stores and some more mainstream. The food here is fantastic

I really like Comm. Bay. It's so convenient to the public transport, parking, & downtown. Where it may be kinda small, compared to malls outside the city centre, its shops and architecture have character and design that is contemporary, and makes me feel uplifted not in a cave. The Foodcourt is also pretty decent!

A great place to eat out in the food court upstairs. Different from the usual food courts with Vietnamese, Mexican, Middle Eastern food as well as great vegan options like Wise Boys burgers

Nice shopping area, a bit high end and confusing to navigate but it beats a normal mall. The Christmas decorations were lovely and the interior of the mall is really lovely with the fresh air. I do have a concern about visiting on a windy or wet day.

Cool design, shops are not as attractive as the cafe and restaurants here. Love the $2 per hour park is really reasonable (in city). If you are here try the Kai eatery’s fried chicken original, love it!

Great range of eateries and easy access from the downturn carpark. More high end shops and need stores (whitcoulls, pharmacy etc). Wouldnt consider it a mall to go shop at though, it doesn't have everyday brands. Clean and tidy

Convenient location, near all buses, ferry and trains in the Auckland CBD. Great shops and a lot of dining options available. This is an upscale shopping center where location is the a huge advantage.

It's an OK mall, you don't come here on daily basis. Ones every 4 months is fine. Food court is pricier then other food courts and restaurants as well.

You know what, I walked through it and thought meh. It could be any mall anywhere in the world. Still I'm sure it was more likely designed to empty the pockets of the cruise ship passengers. So you never know you might pick up a bargain..well at least until the Cruise ships come back.

Food court is top notch something for eveyone with the variety available.

Wow!! Food court was where we wanted to go. Amazing set up! All the different restaurants have their neatly defined dining spots and the food options are amazing!! We ended up at the juke joint, and had some wonderful 70s style food with the matching chairs to boot!! Very nice!

This is a pretty and modern mall with interesting architecture. As the mall is new it is very popular and has a great range of shops from high end to H & M and the supermarket Countdown. On the upper floor there are various eateries and views to around the mall, including a foot bridge over the road.

It is very modern and nice place to shopping. Soap dispenser is not working properly in men’s bathroom.

Good place to eat out and go window shopping.. If you're partner has shopping problems, take something to keep you entertained. Or there's always good pubs in the building.

Love the mail drop to Santa. Shame my kids weren't with me but I still enjoyed it. Really nice arcade, great loos with naughty/nice mirrors - very festive.

Well designed commercial bay, easy access and fabulous range of food varieties at food court. Loved the views and dining.

Just another mall?! The good side: it's in the downtown area. It used to be small sized Westfield Mall. It's now 10 times bigger - great for city apartment dwellers and commuters. The food court is a food's dream come true for those office workers. The bad side: the parking is a total nightmare. It took us 15 minutes to find a car park and 20 minutes to get out - due to the traffic congestion from city rail link construction. The selection of stores is kind of different from other mall I must say with a focus on fashion, accessories, beauty/skin. You can't please everybody.

Love Commercial Bay. Shopping is varied in price and genre and caters to everyone. My fave store is H&M. The food court is fantastic because they have soo many choices from quick bites, delicious Ramen, burgers, hotdogs to die for and top quality restaurants. There's something for everyone.

Selection of food is marvelous, you don't get the usual boring stuff. This place should be great when all the shops are officially opened.

Nice new mall in Britomart. I had a quick stroll to look at the shops but usually stopped by for the food. The food court is quite large and does have plenty of seating and food options. One Queens Rise is where some of the fancier restaurant are located, which have their own seating areas. It was nice to stroll through it all though.

I haven’t explored the entire place yet but have visited a few shops and the food places several times. I am learning my way around now and the variety of food is really good. There are food court type eateries and then restaurants.

Good food court and reasonably priced too. Now one of the nicest areas of auckland city.

I find it hard to navigate initially as it is not like a typically shopping mall like in Botany or Sylvia Park. But a fun place to visit, esp the food court.

Had brunch at Gusstop with my cousin and I think it was a on a day when there was a surcharge so that wasn't smart on our part so watch out for surcharge people! I'm not a fan of surcharges so generally try to avoid them when possible but clearly not on this day - it was a bit too late. Anywho, I got the eggs benedict with bacon and added mushrooms and my cousin got the salmon eggs benedict. As you can see their hollandaise is made with beetroot (which I'm not a fan of) but it actually tasted fine! Ordered a hot chocolate at Best Ugly Bagels (before my dentist appointment - probably wasn't the best idea!) but needed a hot drink and this was comforting. Good vibe, staff. Let's see how the bagels taste on my next visit.

Love the food court, lots of variety and different food places compared to other food courts

Commercial Bay is still the home of some of New Zealand’s most important trading companies. Auckland is in another wave of development. The city’s economy is shifting emphasis, from importing goods, to exporting ideas. Established businesses are innovating, new businesses are growing, and Auckland’s trade with the world is booming.

Great Downtown mall right on the water near the Ferry Terminal, Britomart Train Station and the Northern Express. The architecture and design is great and a good selection of largely upscale retailers. Great food choices at Harbour Eats on the 2nd floor - and some spots there have great views over the Waitematā Harbour.

Food court is exceptional with great variety. Often very packed... upscale shopping place too.

Other than expensive food, not that their quality is good but more of costly rentals, it isn't a place to go if its just food you're after. The shops aren't many and they're mostly branded items. Not the mall you want to buy anything from unless you're in the mood to spend big time! 😂

Five star! The builders and Architects have done an incredible job. Every corner you take has a surprise element to it. Great clothing boutiques and much more. The eateries on the 3rd level offer such a wide variety for the foodie folks. All round a awesome!

In Covid restrictions time you can collect your purchase on the ground floor. Nice stores and cafes around. Worth a visit!

It’s an interesting place. Bit like a maze. Very easy to miss interesting shops or places. Definitely worth map, either physical or digital so you don’t miss anything. Some great bars are hidden away walking towards the toilets.

Food is great, many cuisine options. Great sitting area. Shopping outlets re limited.

Once Downtown Shopping Centre has closed the work will start on an exciting new venture - Commercial Bay - a new waterfront hub for entertainment, shopping, dining, travel and more. This new area will feature a laneway shopping environment with around 100 shops, bars and restaurants with a target opening of October 2018. At the heart of Commercial Bay will be the stunning new PwC Tower which, at 39 levels, will transform Auckland’s skyline.

There they have one of thy best Healthy foods in the courtyard.3 floor.and beautiful shopping. Very thing of interest.too you're like.

We spent 4 hours wandering around having a good look at the new shops in the buildings in the malls no vehicles was wonderful lunch was fabulous nice people ran across strangers and send to lots of Happy Birthday to individuals who during conversation with us just close it was their birthday that day Saturday we have a good time nice very nice people sunny weather beautiful venues plural congratulations to all involved from both myself and my partner gene

Auckland Libraries Historic Street Name Database is very informative for those who like to know the origin of Street names.

Very accessible for the business workers and the employees during their break to get a bit nearby the office area. Almost every kind of food is available

We went to Britomart just to visit this amazing shopping mall. Tried Gogi Korean Kitchen Grilled pork and chicken on rice its yummy at reasonable price. Next time will do shopping here. Got something at H & M at affordable price. Cheers.

Had dinner at Burgger Burgger for my big event tomorrow, the Auckland marathon. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

Great eateries. Harbour Eats on the top floor has a great collection of easy style tasty takeway dishes that covers most cuisines. Watch out as it gets very busy.

Only reason I gave it 4 star is because it is hard to find a spot to sit. Food choices were awesome and place were clean.

The food hall is great. And there is a Brothers Beer.

Great easy parking from the Downtown carpark with internal access. We go mostly for the food court which I find there’s a great selection of Asian fusion and options for vegetarians. It’s kid friendly plus there’s a bar so getting a sneaky drink with the kids isn’t off the cards. Food is reasonably priced too especially when you consider that it’s in the city.

My one stop shop for everything Pedicure and Manicure Clothing Cup of tea Hair products Food Hall And when I am done there is a Countdown and bus on its doorstep

Very large office and shopping precinct. A large number of international stores and outlets are here. They can be expensive though, given the premium location. The location is very easily accessible via public transport and road. The stores like H&M can get very busy in the shopping season. The walkway through it connects Britomart train station to Albert Street via Queen Street. A very nice place to hang out and take a breather while roaming in the city. Highly recommended.

Didn't do any shopping there, as we were meeting family for lunch. Wow this area is amazing. So much choice. Whatever your tastes, there is something for everyone. From pizza, Asian, Turkish and more or set menus. The list goes on, so it makes it hard to decide. Some areas are licensed too. Enjoy.

Overall it's very up market and it's well done. It's easily accessible once you are in the city and the layout makes it easy to walk around. The shops are excellent and are nicely done and in terms of prices expect them to be premium. Facilties are clean and the food court provides a good variety. This place doesn't have a closed in feeling like other malls have. Commercial bay is definitely worth a visit.

I don't really care for the shops on the ground level, but the food court is amazing! So many different choices, from Korean fried chicken, dumplings, and ramen to hot dogs, burgers, pasta, and fish and chips and more. 🍜🍟🌭🍛🍔🥤

What an incredible place. I had the Vietnamese (very good pho) and my colleague had the french pasta. Will definitely come back here. So many options!

Modern and compact, the miniature version of Aucklander's desire. Certainly could improve more.

I like the layout but it can be a cold place - its perfect in the Summer however. Interesting shops with good window displays but a bit pricey. Nice architectural touches as you wander through each level. Love the stepped seating arrangement on the ground floor.

Great place to unwind and relax. Food are relatively affordable. Place is nice and clean. No idea on where to park at Commercial Bay.

Closest street food vibe I've got in Auckland. The lunch time rush is mesmerising to see. Heaps of different options and reasonable prices too. You have to experience it to understand what I mean.

Really good place for shopping it's expensive as well. But good for hangouts. Very clean Tommy officially opened their outlet in this mall.

Very nice shops but the walkways are cold and very windy, seems badly designed especially on windy days as they act like wind tunnels which plenty of other people visiting make the same comments. Very good selection of good quality shops and stores with a great food court area especially the Indian food outlet, great service and quality food especially as the owner chef made me Mango chicken when he heard it was my favorite, only 5 minutes, great service and the dish was perfect, yummy.

A really cool experience in the heart of the city! Took some friends to the food court which has a large selection available. Everything is well presented and clean. Could do with more tables there though. Also a wide range of shops for all your shopping needs.

Cool place but 4 stars because it isn't called Commercial Mall

Unless you work in town there is no reason to come to this mall, the stores are similar to what is everywhere else. And battling the council and their traffic cone love affair is more effort than it's worth. Very large food court with a variety of food and some restaurants have great views of the harbor. The Korean chicken is great. Pretty sure the existence of this mall is to feed the office workers in the surrounding office building. The food court will thrive here.

This is a really lovely place to be. I especially like all the variety of places to eat. I love wandering round here. It's a well designed space with some really classy shops!

Not very beachy, no sand or Pohutukawa trees. I did see the odd seagull though.

The mall is horrible: cold and drafty and deeply unpleasant scurrying from shop to shop to avoid the Arctic blasts through the corridors. Rounded up to 3 stars though because the food hall does have a great selection of eateries but has a weird layout - it would be very easy to not know about a bunch of them as they feel tucked away down an off shoot.

Food hall good if not a little expensive, retail remaining open until late also fantastic and parking at night using the Downtown car park also really convenient but once the Auckland Council sell off the Downtown car park in the next month or two, I don't hold much hope for it.

solid four stars. this mall has a very wide range of shops from a delicious food court to a full story of clothing stores. this mall has amazing architecture and design that is very appealing to the eye, however the layout is very confusing, when you walk out of a clothing store there shouldn't be a completely opposite shop right there!? I did enjoy my time there though and I would recommend it ♡

One of the most best malls I have been to

A lot of shop in the whole shopping center. It's nice to take a small sight seeing around it then sit-down and have a great afternoon tea. The top floor is full of different snacks and easy dinner. Definitely worth to explore and give it a goooo!

I go here mainly for the food. The food court is an excellent space with many diverse options. Always clean and with great seating!

It's very pretty inside...lots of food places upstairs. Not expensive. You can walk around with a G&T.

Got payed close to 35 an hour to wash some louvres and a skylight window for the day works a little dry at the moment but hey getting payed for it atleast cant complain great area for bird watching as well.

The food court is always pretty crowded, so finding a seat can be a challenge at times. But it does offer a wide variety of food choices and they all are pretty good quality and value for money.

It's a beautiful option to have lunch with your friends in a busy weekday or with families anytime you want 😉. It's location is very convenient to those who work in CBD and the food was also good. There are numerous options for food, some quite cheap and some not so. I will say you will definitely find something you like there. I only went to the food court to have lunch, so cannot say about the rest of the mall but think it will be as lovely as the portion I saw.

So squeaky clean and new :D Commercial Bay is like a mini mall in that it has a wide range of clothing stores, beauty shops, and an amazing eatery for any style that suits you. Honestly a really nice experience all round, highly recommend stopping by.

Stylish, informative , look at the wharf piles and seawall found during the excavations. And the shops

Strange lay out... Find myself always looking how to change levels. It seems escalators are hidden. Solect is a good sneaker shore but the majority of shops are way to expensive for the general shopper. Food court is very good

Amazing food and great service, will visit again

We went for the food outlets. Something for everyone which was nice to see. Plenty of food outlets and seating. The only downside was the volume of the music in the overhead speakers - you cannot get away from it and makes conversation difficult. Definitely worth a visit.

Great shopping centre only downfall is not immediate parking

WENT TO AUCKLAND CITY ON THE BUS AND CALLED INTO COMMERCIAL BAY ONLY WALKED AROUND THE FOOD HALL BUT WOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE TOP NEXT TIME.

Had drinks here before going on to the Lion king. The place was buzzing which was pleasing to see. The only complaint would be that the music was just a wee bit loud meaning that it was difficult to hear other people speak.

Nice shops, layout, impeccable food court. Baby change was a little hard to find (in an unmarked accessible bathroom) and not fully featured, but other than that no complaints.

A nice new mall in the heart of city providing up market clothing brand options. The food court is great with plenty of options for international street foods. Some of the restaurants have waterfront views of the harbour. The mall is quite small in terms of shopping options but food court is definitely the one to try.

I wish I had known about this place earlier.. it is hard to know it's there unless told, which we were.. Good selection of food vendors to choose from. Love the format of having each restaurant having its own space.. it's like being in a different place as you walk through each...

Love "CommBay" as us locals call it. A long time in the making. Good selection of cheaper eats all the way to more suave ones plus a few nice bars. It has a pharmacy too so it's not all just fancy clothing stores.

You can find few shops/brands which are not available in Auckland CBD other than this. The location is very prominent.

Attended a Matariki lunch event at Ahi and it was an amazing experience and even better food. Commercial Bay is always so busy and I can see why. So many yummy food places to choose from

Plenty of food places to eat no matter what your tastes are. Never seen such a diversity of food places in one location. Food from just about every country. Plenty of up market shops to choose from as well.

Newly opened, it's a brilliant spot to have a feed or browse the shops. So beautiful and pedestrian friendly. The food court is definitely worth checking out!

Food was great although there isn't a great range of non-eateries. Covid 19 had definitely had a negative impact. However, during the weekend we found that parking was relatively convenient and not too expensive, which is a huge bonus nowadays.

Amazing for food and drinks, pretty good for shopping. Have some decent brands that are hard to find elsewhere.

Modern and new. The food court is great but wouldn’t say they were ‘restaurants’ more like a food court all under the one roof. Has a good vibe and heaps of options. Today I went to ‘Good Dog Bad Dog’. Food was great but pricey which appears to be common a common theme there.

Great food court and a place to wander and browse. An mid-upmarket mall across the whole spread. Very clean and modern design though I have gotten a little lost. If you’re looking to go to some of the more designer end stores... look like you can afford it otherwise, you may receive pretty mixed service from the staff

Great eateries here but unless you were into high end brands/boutique stores, the shopping is average and the lack of tourists makes Commercial Bay feel rather empty. However, the complex is clean and tidy and car parking is usually easy to find in surrounding parking buildings.

Commercial Bay has transformed from an aging shopping mall to a modern social hub. A prime position for foot traffic, adjacent the railway station and ferry / cruise disembarking, the shopping center and eatery are open and welcoming. Shopping is tailored to tourists with rather pricey selections. There is an international food court for a quick bite or drink, dining options for group gatherings, cafes, bar, and dessert stops. One minor issue with the location for the food lane's restrooms. You'll find it hidden within winding corridors. There may not be similar issues on other floors. Overall, this is an impressive and much needed addition to the waterfront.

The area is so nice, even if you just to walk around. It has it's own style which is not typical of the standard mall. The food area is amazing. Such a huge variety of cuisines to choose from. It gets quite busy at the main meal times, but that adds to the market feel atmosphere.

Nice food court heaps to choose from. otherwise lots of people with no money window shopping. Shops are generally empty with bored looking staff.

A new mall in the cbd. The food section is pretty good I have to admit, lots of options to choose from to suit many tastes. But the shops are so convoluted, as well as being a new mall already but feels like a ghost town. Parking is just standard AT park so is not as convenient as other malls. In my opinion, if you want to go for food only, it is worth to try. To shop, I would rather go New Market and Sylvia Park, which have a more spacious feeling as well as a lot more people around the shops. I predict in a few months time the mall will be even more deserted...

Amazing food and very good design of the building

Great space with multiple entrances (which made the lower levels a nit breezy on a gusty Auckland day). Good range of high-end shops and more affordable options. The food hall and adjoining eateries are excellent! A great addition to downtown.

Great shopping experience! Lots of shops on multiple floors and a huge food court that is tastefully decorated. Makes for a great shopping and meals!!!

Tidy and clean with well maintained toilets. A good selection of restraints, including plant based. It's a complex enough space not to feel soulless like a mall.

Posh places, posh prices, posh time. Feels like an overseas mall, in a good way. Sick of Westfields and Sylvia Park and have a bit of cash to splash? Fancy just slightly above average food at more than above average inflated prices? Want to do shopping or window shopping in peace without the rustle and bustle? Want a fancy lunch but don't feel like the other fancy places? Then this is the place for you.

Amazing place for shopping. Has a variety of brands and showrooms. Also has a massive food court with plenty of food options. Only issue is the car park given that it's right downtown. Nice place to go on a day off.

Commercial bay has a wonderful collection of shops where you get to buy beautiful things at a fair price. I always go there for the food court, there is a wide selection of food shops most of which are perfectly splendid. There are also tea shops some of which seem overpriced but not bad after all.

Always a nice experience, you can shop, have lunch/dinner at a range of places from $ - $$$, get your nails done all in one place. Close to transport from ferries to buses. Parking can be a bit of pain sometimes but just be prepared to take a short 5-10min walk if you bring your car.

Lovely place, smaller than expected. Real modern style mall with upmarket stores. But the real stunner here is the food court. Now that's a food court, the best in New Zealand hands down. This is what you do, go window shopping there, have a good walk, exercise, enjoy looking at the expensive things your wallet dreads, then go treat yourself at the amazing food court. Day out at the mall done and dusted.

Up market shopping centre with an excellent selection of food outlets. Some of the food outlets have a nice views of the harbour. Shopping is mostly up market so this is possibly more expensive than other malls. Maybe more designed with tourists in mind. Conveniently attached to Downtown Car Park.

Went to Ghost donkey at Commercial bay. Great view of the ferry terminal and the taco tray was great value. Everything on it was delicious. Would definitely go again

Amazing! So many options that I felt as if I was in some sort of food Narnia! Lots and lots of vegan options!!! Including the glorious tart bakery and the fantastic burger place nextdoor I forget the name of heehee

I came here to use the toilets after getting off the bus at brittomart. Honestly makes a lady feel luxurious during her most vulnerable times in public. Beautiful atmosphere and the asthetics of the place is amazing. Definitely a place to go!

Really fancy place, nice bathrooms too, has an H&M inside too which i adore. The food court looks very busy and happening. They also have a range of skin clinics and hair salons too which is really nice if you dont want to shop you can relax and get a facial instead.

Have to say its the best foodcourt ive been to since 2020. Large selection of food around. Lots of seating around and the surrounding renovation is very classy and chill. Ventilation is done well no cooking smoke floating around in this large enclosed place full of restaurants. Food prices here are considered as very affordable for the choices it provides in Auckland CBD. Havent tried the dining in yet but looking forward to it.

the architecture is stunning and creates a very upscale shopping vibe. I went at 9pm for food and the food area was packed which was great to see. We also got free sushi from the sushi place which was great. So excited for this addition to the city center!!

Its beautiful, first time I've been there. Certainly a place you want to buy that special gift for someone, a selection of eateries. Loved my sushi.

Great ambience and lovely environment to spend some time with friends, although food is expensive and lackluster at the few places I've tried. Would be willing to try another restaurant with another menu just to spend some more time in this beautiful location. A new social hub for Aucklanders I believe.

Honestly. Compared to the original Downtown Food court.. the new space is seriously underwhelming. That is the use of the space itself is overwhelming. Too cramped, too dark, too noisy. You can spend a good half hour just to see all the options. And meeting someone - when you don't know what food they've ordered.. well forget it. It seems to be all the bad aspects of a Westfield Night Market without the fresh air. No doubt, if you work in PWC or HSBC, it'll be cool getting there without seeing weather or perhaps breathing Auckland's oxygen... but come on.. we don't plan Auckland around winter. Food was okay, but too pricey to make a habit if it.

Was fortunate enough to be part of the team that built this place. The complex is a class above most other shopping malls in NZ. It's a destination rather than a mall. If you work around the city, it's a great place for meetings and generally fantastic to catch up with friends.

Shops close early but food court has a nice range of cuisines. Public places are always clean and tidy. Great place to shop.

This place is totally the oerfect place to hangout after work or on the weekends. There is a variety of food to explore. My favorite spot is definitely the bar section where you get to see the beautiful harbour while enjoying a cocktail or two with your friends or alone 😉

Good foodcourt but gets extremely busy at dinner time. A lot of the places in the food court are at the cheaper end of the spectrum.

The food court is posh. I like it. Shrimp fried rice with pineapple is definitely a highlight for me.. I miss Food Alley man, nothing is the same, they should bring Food Alley back.

Very relaxing place

Great place with great options for shopping and eating. Only bother was how difficult it was to get to this place. Taxi or car is a negative as roads are so busy with road closures, construction and road works. Plan to walk over instead.

The Poni room in particular was outstanding. Amazing service from the manager Shamies (I think that was his name?) Had a whiskey at the bar and some steamed duck buns with hoisin mayo (bangin'). If you don't go here, you're wrong.

We tried The Ghost Donkey in Commercial Bay on a Friday night. This place was so busy but after a little wait we finally got a table. The ambience inside was like a festival of lights, although small in space it catered so many people. The cocktails we ordered were awesome and it was loaded as we could taste the alcohol as the ice melted. Prices for drinks were okay. Music was funky and everyone was having a good time and the staff very friendly. The mushroom nachos was small portion wise and overpriced at $28.

Lovely and clean. Perfect for families, with the most beautiful changing room. Could do with a few more stores, but eateries were lovely.

Visited here a few weekends ago. Enjoyed it, but wouldn't rave about it. If I still worked in the CBD and was regularly heading there for food or drinks, maybe that would be different. Shops were more high end as expected, still some empty shops. I also did go during the weekend after the last corona episode in Ak, so it didn't really have a vibe and was quite empty. Downtown Carpark nearby made the whole experience better. Especially I'll compared to the steep parking prices at westfield newmarket. I'll head back soon and give it another try

Had an excellent lamb chawarma from Fatimas - very tender and tasty, though the portion seemed small for the price. Didn't get a chance to try the kofta, but they looked good (so mild regret for missing out!) There was a wait for the food but not too bad given it was lunch hour.

Great new shopping area for the CBD with a large food court. The food court has several different cuisines from various cultures, so that's a great experience all on its own. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, as always with the CBD. Access is a bit annoying as well, due to the multiple construction works near by. But all in all, Commercial Bay itself is still amazing and worth a visit.

Very open and easy to shop around. Found what I liked fast and quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

About to have the fastest lifts in NZ! 2.5 floors per second. (Not sure about m/s) Apart from that, there is some beautiful use of vertical space for this mall with a relatively small footprint. Premium shops, food, and location. You cant really fault it.

This area of town is great to walk around. Loads of interesting shops to explore and plenty of cafes and restaurants/bars to stop off at along the way.

Reasonable variety of shops and eateries and will no doubt fill up with others in near future Although very handy to downtown Auckland is really just another shopping mall

So much variety. A real worldly feel and very upmarket. Has brought life to the space. Can't wait to go back and try some of the eating establishments.

If you look for "the best coffee" in Auckland (if you have lived in Melbourne no questions asked right😉) go to Kokako=first floor next to arrow and bowl! The stuff is lovely, knowledged, focused on making coffee. I come here with friends and buy my beans for enjoying at home as well! They know how to grind, measure, heat they know all seriously about coffee! If you can't taste differences you are happy at Starbucks or anywhere. If you take coffee serious this is the place you won't regret! Thank you Shannon , Anica and all the Team for bringing coffee joy!!!

compared to sylvia park, which is a personal hell of mine, this is a luxury shopping experience. brilliant design, with great connection to the surrounding streets. but as an urban planner, i cannot totally say i agree with internalised retail, when the sewer that is queen st bears numerous empty store fronts. but, commercial bay is attractive and uplifts the central city. 3 stars.

Took my fiancé to dinner at Ahi! Food was superb, and fine dining at its best. Please get the Crispy Agria potatoes and Mushroom Ketchup!!! You won't regret it!

An almost unbelievable array of food outlets. Many of which I had not seen before. None of the usual KFC or Mac. Yea! Why aren't all of Auckland's malls like this?

This is a new mall, where have fancy up to date facilities. Car park building is accessible through PWC building. Food court services variety foods such greek, japanese, chinese, malaysia, also a public Bar is available. The bar name is public. Price is around $18 per a main meal. A hungry man needs to double order. Overall, that's good mall.

It's OK. Another shopping centre. Closing Downtown carpark will cause them a few issues. I prefer 277 Newmarket.

Nothing too great about it. It's still under construction in some areas. Just another "mall" but just located in the cbd. Food choices are great, although not many places to sit down and eat in the food court areas.

Love the place - definitely what Auckland needed. Good shops with a great food at hall. Heaps of variety to choose from. Kokako make a fabulous organic flat white also if that's to your likely.

I only go to the food court here but it is really nice to look around. There is a very nice korean fried chicken at the food court. Its one of the best sweet and spicy fried chicken I ever ate!!

It opened at the worst possible time, just as Covid arrived and the cruise ships disappeared and it has taken a while to find its feet. It still seems to have that overpriced-catering-to-the-cruise-market vibe but shoppers are starting to visit. Expect numbers to increase as the CPO entrance to Britomart reopens in a couple of months and as a slow turnover of retailers eventually reorient themselves to their new market.

Nice place, reminds me of some Cbd Melbourne malls, big food court, smaller portion sizes so a bit on the expensive side. Upmarket shops. Carpark is the old downtown one, so it still costs a bit (unlike Newmarket where there is 2 hours free).

Place is pretty, but very cold. Also, went for a walk today and was window shopping a little, going through Commercial bay building and there was no rubbish bin!!! Nowhere to be found! But there was a security guy on every corner. Asked them and they said, no rubbish bin.....I am a little bit disappointed.

Love the different assortment of shops, mostly not in the standard malls. Love the upmarket industrial architecture, almost feeling like in Melbourne laneways, on the ground floor. Great foodcourt too!

Commercial Bay is slowly but surely becoming the next luxury shopping mall in Auckland, easily surpassing Newmarket Westfield's potential by being in a much more strategic area. There are no obnoxious students to ruin your day in sight, and the service is absolutely fantastic, especially in comparison to the mall in Newmarket (possibly because the employees don't have to deal with thieves, pretentious high school students and customers who won't buy anything). I can't wait for this place to be complete to show us its full potential. Without the smell of construction and constant overcrowding, Commercial Bay is definitely a five-star shopping center.

With the death of foodcourts in the CBD, the opening of the fancy pants foodcourt was a relief Price wise it's the same as any other foodcourt however the selection is what sets it apart from others. This isn't the usual suspects (a McDonald's, a kebab shop, an Indian etc...). The places here are either found only here or are one offs. I've been back multiple times, hoping to try them all. Highly recommended.

There were a lot of shops concentrated in a complicated building, had some restaurants and cafes. It didn't have many stores that appealed to me, a poor student. I looked into Kookai and a hand cream and candle shop but were too expensive. Would not come back

It is a beautiful clean, friendly place. You dont realize how much covid-19 has had an impact on our ecconomy untill you go to the Water front & Viaduct in Auckland & it is so quiet with no tourists. Come on NZ lets support the ecconamy & buy local......Thanks😉🙂

Worth a browse and the food court has alot of interesting places to try. The variety of shops are different from the run of the mill Westfield line up so definitely worth a peak.

The commercial bay located right at the britomart is one the best place to catch up with friends. Has got all the options for food and drinks one would wish to have.

Spending fourteen days confined to a hotel room and a small yard for exercise isn't an ideal situation, however, when it means that you're helping keep Covid-19 out of New Zealand, and the staff and NZDF are so supportive, and you're in a first class hotel then it's far better than you might at first imagine!

New, flash, chique. Kindof a Westfield mall stacked on top of each other. However rather a maze and sometimes hard to find locations. Follow signs closely.

commercial bay shopping centre looks a lot better than the old downtown shopping center high roof exposed rafters and plenty of room to move around need a map to navigate around the shopping center easy access all round the four main street surroundings the shopping centre, worth a visit if a lot of spare times.

Food is over priced. There are cheaper better options very close to here. There is a lack of seating around the food court and most of which appears to be sectioned off for different restaurants.

As I used to live in Hawaii, I think Sam Choy’s Poke is genuine to me. I tried other poke shops in Auckland but they cover poke with too much sauce. If Ogo and grated Kukui nut in it would be perfect but I think asking too much😂

Food hub is buzzing on midday. Interesting collection of stores. Love that you featured, health, wellness & grooming in top level. Footpath outside is still a work in progress.

Great place to get food from all over the world

Finally have visited this new shopping and restaurant location. Very nice- obviously pricey so more window shopping - Take public transport to Britomart as a lot of road works around area

Amazing food court with excellent selection. Fast service and food ready quickly as well, even when busy. Efficient staff clearing tables and cleaning them.

Got myself a fresh white pair of Onitsuka's 66's. Both Michael and Summah were tentative for my size and gym going needs. Even got sole whiteners to keep em' fresh for hitting the town after 😀

Great to have a new bespoke looking mall in Central Auckland that doesn't have the generic "Westfeild " shops and food hall . Very happy to see commercial bay support the experience of local brands and restaurants 🤩

Pretty happening and loads of lip smacking food joints. Just makes it to difficult for you which one you wanna try out. A bit noisy but that's expected.

Bit hard to find your way around for the first time - going back feels a bit 'cramped' for the biggest mall in the CBD. Great food choices and many unique stores for shopping!
