We go here for the food hall upstairs, there is a small range of different food types, relatively quiet and we can eat overlooking Broadway.

This cinema is a little more boutique than the franchise model. They play a good selection of ART HOUSE indie films which is refreshing. I hope one day the owner sees fit to upgrade the seating to recliners like Silky Otter. With all things considered it gets a 4 out of 5!!

Love coming here for food. It was very quiet though compared to other times. I think people go straight to the food hall at the 277 shopping mall and pay alot more money. This food hall needs to be frequented or we will lose it.

Nice, small multiplex cinemas. Good seats and good sound quality. Mostly screens "art house" type movies rather than "block busters". The Rialto centre also has a food hall and an arcade of retail shops.

Lovely place to just relax and get something yummy, I have never been to the movies but it looks beautiful! I usually just pop in for something to eat/drink. Its pretty cheap and does the job 😁

There's a tidy and good atmosphere of movie theater in the Rialto, and enjoyed watching a movie titled "Minari" which has been one of nominees for the 93rd Annual Academy awards are scheduled to take place April 25, 2021 I am deeply moved by the movie.

Great service from the staff, however the only thing detracting from a 5 star rating would be the wait times - at peak hour they only had two tills running, with a massive queue. The cinemas themselves were well kept, and the screens and audio were impressive. Good location

Went to watch the movie "Soldiers Without Guns" on Saturday night. Excellent piece on recent kiwi history. The Rialto theatre (#6) though was looking a bit shabby, peeling ceiling paper, popcorn growing stubble and very tired seats. The atmosphere was consistent with a tropical paradise struggling with a 10 year conflict but not what you expect in Newmarket.

I can only really comment on the food court which is fairly standard fare but if you just need to grab a quick bite there should be something to satisfy - I recall Subway, sushi and an Indian place. A few nick nac shops downstairs selling curiosities which I've never taken much notice of.

The location is good, clean, good information about the movie on the board, nicely done. Only one thing I always find it inconvenient is there is always only one staff member at the counter. Customers always have to queue for a long time foe the tickets n food.

Rialto Centre seems to never change, it still holds it's beautiful glass interiors and small shops. It's a mixed lot with the dominant food court upstairs, and the cinema nearby. It does seem a bit outdated compared to Westfield nearby, but it is worth a look as it is quite interesting to the eye.

During my visit here there seems to be quite alot of renovations going on which made it hard to have/ find a meal that would really tickle my fancy. It seems the centre swings in round abouts as there seems to be a constant move in tenants and availability

Enjoy Rialto experience suits a disabled person like myself better range of more 'arty/adult' movies. Nice for drinkers to take their glasses in and good selection of kapiti and little island ice cream. One criticism - disabled should get concession as seniors/students do...cheaper on Tues and less Mon-wed Lots of food options in food hall adjacent (earlier times) but easy to find food before and after in Newmarket. 2 weeks ago even tried the vege option and Kumara chips at the Newmarket version of the White Lady pleasantly surprised by good quality .👌😃

It's ok, a bit old. I saw Sicaro 2 there, if you have seen the movie it has a bass heavy track, I think the speakers might be slightly blown. They couldn't handle it

Average kinda shopping complex cant even considered as a mall..it has cinema.. foodcourt, kathmandu showroom and some random shops..food court has very few oulet..it has subway, sushi, thai and indian outlets..

I go to the Rialto on a daily basis (for lunch at Aroma, Subway or Fuku Sushi. The centre itself is very dated at the moment. Now that 277 Westfield is closed for construction, it's getting a lot of patronage, which is motivating them to re-paint. When 277 reopens, unfortunately, I think the Rialto is likely to die. Whilst it lives, it's not a bad option at all. The cleaning crew in the food court are very active (cleaning tables almost as soon as they're vacated). They're not intrusive either. The food court itself has some okay options, although, there are 4 or so stores vacated, which makes the whole place feel a little desolate and lacking. The options are Subway, Aroma Indian Cuisine, Fuku Sushi, a little Thai place and JJ's Espresso (cafe). I haven't been to the Thai place, but it seems to maintain a steady flow of customers when I'm there. Nandos is there as well, but it's closed half the time and I, personally, don't put any faith in their hygiene standards (given their track record at nearly every other Nandos location). The staff at all the food places are pretty good. Downstairs are some shops that I've never been to, bar the Aussie Sox stand where they sell interesting hats and whatnot. There's a men's Euro-style apparel outfit on the Broadway side, which looks not too bad, as well as a big Homeware shop further inside. It's a quirky feeling place - the Rialto - and I'm frequenting it at the moment whilst the 277 is being rebuilt/renovated. To be fair, I'm unlikely to continue my patronage there, aside the odd trip for a curry at Aroma. I don't hold much hope for its survival in the long-term, but it's a satisfactory experience nonetheless.

A fun and refreshing cinema for anyone to go to, I love how they have a large variety of films and languages too.

It's a great cinema that screens a variety of international films and other award winning films. Very clean and quiet.

Seats are really comfortable. The layout of the snack & ticket counters are well done. Given the busy time me & my friends visited, we didn’t have to queue for long & the staff were more than capable to handle a large number of customers. The staff were really friendly as well!

This is a busy cinema complex. Saw the Darkest Hour here, with Winston Churchill life portrayed. Enjoyed the cinema room, it was cosy and comfortable.
