A small shopping mall but it's sweet and worth visit. Farmers is the biggest store but nice and fancy shops are available too. The Food Court is under renovation and looking forward to a better place.

Been coming to this mall since 30 years ago, saw the place been refurbished, new owners, same staff. The character and vibe has always been alive. The location is perfect and the best bit about this mall is it's boutique style, not too large like other malls, except Milford mall is just as good. Always a pleasure coming to this memorable Takapuna mall.

Good shopping center with Farmers and the other usual suspects. Sadly, no grocery store though! Downstairs you will find a decent play area, which is probably best suited for children under 13. My 3 1/2 years old son loved it and we stayed for quite a while. The ice cream place right next to the playground is strategically very well placed... or badly; depending on your point of view 😉

Go to Shore City and enjoy the astmosphere the beautiful perfume smells from Life Pharmacy the supermarket with the most lovely cakes and cupcakes. It's the loveliest place ever to do coffee and shop.

Having the New World metro has been such a great addition. My favourite is the Buns and Rolls inside Shore City. They make the best rice paper rolls and slow cooked pork bao buns. There's a little play area that could be better, but not bad for the kids to be entertained for a bit. During the school holidays they put on various activities for the kids that are free which is very kind. The Farmers there always has good specials and the Whitcouls has finally got a good spot rather than hidden at the back corner. There's a posh Cafe which is situated right by the toilets (🤢) downstairs. Seems busy all the time, but personally it's over priced and the baking could be better or cooked through, but could've been a one off. I've dined there on several occasions and have never really found the cost of food matched the quality (or lack) of food. The service though is excellent! Two nail salons seems a bit of an overkill, but probably good for competition. This seems like a good mall for it's size especially with a Les Mills at the rooftop. The shopping caters to all, mostly women like most malls, but more men's shops would be nice. I can tell they're trying their best to make improvements and attract more people and it's encouraging to see more and more people are going here. New renos look great, love all the indoor plants although they need extra care so the leaves don't brown. Another added bonus is the 3hr free parking a day!

Visited Shore City yesterday for the first time in many years, have to say we were very impressed with how lovely, bright and clean the whole mall was. The staff in every store we went into were friendly and helpful. It was busy but not too crowded and there are very welcome designated areas for sitting/resting. Found an absolutely beautiful store called Creative and Brave full of wonderful gift ideas largely by nz companies and artists. You have a shopping centre to be proud of, can’t wait to go back and explore the shops we missed this time around.

One of the more relaxed shopping malls on the North Shore and fairly newly renovated. Bright, clean, and a small selection of shops, with more on the streets outside as well as the lovely beach and cafes only a stroll away.

Good place to shop with Whitcoulls, Columbus, EB Games, Espirit, Farmers and the like. Few couches scattered around. There's free WiFi here too!

Has a little bit of a lot of things, not everything. For example, you can't buy 3M hooks anywhere (Farmers, Whitcoulls or Stevens don't carry them), there's only 1 phone repair company, there's no lap top fix company, and so on. But it's a good place to relax and go shopping.

Milford mall is WORSE apart from cafe's & warehouse, it's ladies shop ladies shop recurring. Put Long John Silver back into the mall & put more men's shops. The last time I came in, Milford is Worse, It was ladies shop, ladies shop ladies shop, stationary, ladies shop ladies shop ladies shop stationary. 3 men's shops is NOT "O" for awesome it should be 1/2 Ladies 1/2 men's shops. I shop on a Thursday @ Albany now. Up there it is Ladies shop, men's shop, shop for both recurring, cinemas, food court with wide variety of places. I'm not putting Shore city down, "Don't get me wrong" but only 3 men's shop is most definitely NOT "O" for awesome for my local mall. Farmer's Rod & Gun & Barkers & NO Long John Silver is MOST DEFINITELY NOT "O" FOR AWESOME!!!

Tiny cute mall. Small foodcourt. Handy because it has a New World and Farmers. Decent parking. Nice selection of clothes, shoes and gift stores. Has a pharmacy, sports store, massage and Rodney Wayne.

Nice shopping centre. Nothing special, but OK for usual stuff. Takapuna Sunday Market opposite is way more interesting. Handmade soap, vegetarian dips and out of this world dumplings at little Asian stall in front of bus stop.

This shopping centre has been around for years, and most of the shops occupy the exactly same spot since 2003. On one hand means that business and location are great that business are keep coming, on the other hand also means that it's getting boring; especially since the interior is also freezed in time.

I liked how the mall had less people so it’s easier to shop for things my family and I need, I went with my family to help my mum collect her Elizabeth ardern products at Farmers. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO FARMERS STAFF: NAMRITA She was very helpful with suggestions for my mum and is very generous. Very recommend her on advice

Wife and kids like to shop here . Nice kids play area , but one start less for too many screens in the play area . In December , there is a lovely Christmas display , and a beautiful tree too . There's a new mc Donald's here too . And lots of cafeterias too ,so you can't go hungry . If you've got kids , there is a ramp with mirrors that they will like . There's toilets here too , and it's all indoors , so no rain coats . It can get pretty busy here , so for not busy woman , weekdays are just perfect . They sell clothes here , fix watches , and at Christmas they have Santa Magic ! Baby parking too , if you need it. ( very handy ) . The music isn't too loud and the adds don't make a sound . But the hand driers are very noisy : no hand towels . Over all it is a good shopping center .

I didn't have a chance to have a good look around, but the decor of the mall is greatly improved on what was there when my kids were younger. There are good public facilities in there, but on a Saturday evening the mall itself seems rather quiet, so not sure if it has optimal patronage from a business perspective. Parking is handy, with this being onsite. Good access for wheelchairs and strollers - the ramp between levels is a good gradient. Because it was empty of people, the mall seemed quite spacious. However, with mega malls being more of a thing, this one felt quite small overall with fewer choices than other shopping malls.

A great place to hangout -- a tiny mall with easy access to the bus stops. Has some very cool shops. Big Farmers inside. Lots of place for just sitting around and relaxing. They also have an area for kids, which is awesome. Too bad some of my favourite stores there already closed. Some areas are still being fixed so I'm expecting more great things from this place.

The mall has been renovated and looking fresh. Lots of chairs to sit and relax and play space for the kids as well. The shops are a great variety from the normal clothes shop to high end shops it's all here. The Farmers is huge. With the addition of New World opening in November is a big advantage. The food options include a cafe, Japanese, Chinese. The location of the shop is quite handy being close to the bus stop, the park, the cinema and the beach. Lots of car parking as well. This mall is great for leasure shopping and relaxing.

Smaller than others like Albany so not one I'd visit unless I needed to go to a specific store like Vodafone and I was nearby. Clean otherwise. I think there's parking on the roof or something like that. Not a far walk from the beach

Love this place. This is the best mall in NZ. It has everything. From your cheap $2 shops to your typical mall shops, cinemas , cafes and bars. You can relax with a cocktail in between your shopping and put your feet up. Choose from a different menu in the food court then get your groceries at one of the big food stores. Plenty of parking you can while away the whole day here.

There's been quite a few renovations some good and some you wonder why. The food court I don't think is an improvement and not sure who they're trying to attract or not. Overall it's a good mall though.

Little shopping centre but fancy and with enough shops. A Farmer shop is on site as well a big fitness centre. The brand new food court is there to complete your shopping time experience. The whole shopping centre is recently renewed and it will be completed very soon. A 3 hours free parking is a plus.

Totally recommend the play area for babys and kids...the touch screens with educational games on it was amazing...and had a good range of different functioning toys. Ill be back for sure. Watching this space for the upgrade to be completed I think there is a range of shops.

It was dead when we got here which made for a pleasant shopping experience, however there is not many options for food or beverage. For me it has a few key shops that I like to shop at, but there is also alot of road works going on in the carpark and can cause terrible delays and seems that people are unsure of the road rules. dangerous in that respect if you have young children with you and are walking from the mall to the carpark.

Standard mid-size shopping mall with a variety of shops, restaurants, businesses and services (including Farmers) and has adequate facilities. Nothing exceptional, probably cater for locals. A nice place to hang around if you're exploring Takapuna.

It's usually quiet during weekends, but I was told us a lot busier on weekdays. There are not many shops in this mall compared to other bigger ones like Albany, St Luke's and Sylvia Park, but it connects to the Takapuna circle so it is still a good place for weekends.

Parking was easy to find. It looked like they were doing a bit of re-jigging with the actual car park. Would have been nice to know about it beforehand. Also mind blown as they print your rego on the ticket when you come in!! Loved the new Shore City logo on the ticket.

A nice intimate shopping mall . Parking inside the centre is free for 3 hours.this is a 2 level shopping place.upper lever are mostly clothing retail shops.a cafe is there.they are renovating the food court down stairs.free wifi is available which is good if needed.

Sadly seems this mall is undergoing some major works and alot of stores have dissapeared along with 90% of the food court. However the toilets upstairs have been remodeled and were the highlight of my visit, although came here with a purpose to shop and not much of that to do here other than Farmers and EB Games.

Shore City seems to have been around forever. It has been kept fairly up to date, with a reasonable selection of shops. It is quite small, though, so there isn't a great selection of shops. At the moment the foodhall is closed for renovations, so the food selection was quite poor. I can't believe they shut the whole foodhall, surely they could have done half and half. Anyway, it's cute being small, the carparking is convenient and the stores are all ok.

A bit difficult to get around if you have mobility challenges, especially exiting the mall. Parking is free for 3 hours, which is a plus. Also, the kids playground is great for preschoolers as well as toddlers.

I have been coming to Shore City off and on for 40 years. I would have to say it is probably worse now then ever. This is simply because it's lost its family appeal. No kids stores Toyworld, Kmart, Warehouse. No kids food places.. Mc Donald's, KFC etc. No Eb Games anymore. Only shop that remotely close to family is Farmer's which has been there the whole time. That's the problem now a days shopping centres are all filled with boutique stores. I would say now the best shopping centre on this side of bridge would be Glenfield. Only thing that it lacks for families is a movie theatre.

This is a pretty sad mall, on a par with Lynn Mall out west. Lots of empty shops and renovations underway. If you were looking for a place to start a zombie apocalypse, don't choose here - it's either already started, or the mallrats wouldn't notice. Not sure which is worse.

Can be very hard to get a car park on busy days. Has the core shops you need - Farmers, Country Road, Merchant, Glassons, Just Jeans etc and also a good selection of cafes for a coffee and quick bite to eat.

A couple of months a go silly me left my phone plugged into the wall next to the old tank by the stairs. When I got home I was so stressed out. I called in the morning and the lady at the help desk was very friendly and THANK GOD the cleaners had been honest and gracious and delivered my phone and its charger to customer service. My dad went along in the morning and just had to describe my phone and the lady gave it over no problem. The ladybird stickers are not hard to miss haha.

Shore City is in a great location and the structure of thr building is good, making shops easily accessible for abled and disabled people alike. However, there is no information desk to my knowledge. Shore City is constantly going through renovations and often has blocked off areas, sometimes blocking your path which is a slight hindrance, but they always place cones and/or temporary walls to show the temporary path.
